Four Split Personalities

Chapter 2715 - 1284: The Witch’s Request

Something’s off!

Really off!

In every sense, this whole situation feels a bit too bizarre!

It’s so bizarre that even when Foster and Lian, both of whom possess the kind of psychological fortitude that can crush eight ’Black Vatican Priests,’ feel their heads buzzing right now. Forget about the content they were discussing before—at this moment, the two of them almost forgot their own surnames.

This plot twist is freaking ridiculous!

First, Teresa developed a strong interest in Ramorok. Nothing wrong with that, because the latter indeed demonstrated his command skills were at a ruling-class level today. It’s only logical for Teresa, who is also highly talented in this domain, to be interested.

Next, Teresa watched the countless battle videos of Ramorok and wanted to learn more about that ’Black Vatican Priest.’ Again, nothing wrong here; after all, according to Foster earlier, the only reason Ramorok agreed to participate in this [Warfire League] was to have a good battle with that intern priest from the Holy Church Union delegation. Teresa wanting to know who that person is completely makes sense.

Then, Teresa came across some data about the ’Black Vatican Priest’ who was active during the Misha County Plague incident, giving her an initial understanding of the latter. But since the data at hand wasn’t sufficient, and the image of the priest was still vague, Foster offered to provide additional information about the ’Black Vatican Priest’ to Teresa, which was just normal care for his junior.

Shortly after, Teresa finished reviewing the extensive battle of Sumier with astonishing speed and suddenly wanted to see the recent battle report from Holy Mountain Sumier. This too wasn’t odd because Ramorok had concluded based on the examples from Misha County that ’Black Vatican’ had intervened in Sumier’s battle. So, it wasn’t surprising that Teresa linked these two seemingly unrelated battles.

This is where the problem started!

’Whoosh,’ in no time at all, Teresa went through the prolonged battle of Sumier with incredible speed, then unexpectedly turned today’s theme upside down by worrying about whether ’Uncle Richard and Uncle Andre would kill the Black Vatican Priest,’ catching the two seniors off guard!

After that, everything fell apart...

First, Teresa generously praised the ’photo’ of Mo Tan that was taken today during the lottery, despite being forcibly clad with cross earrings and having his hair styled into textured curls by Yu Chen. Though this ’Black Vatican’ whose appearance is identical to Mo Tan’s actual self isn’t considered handsome.

It’s not that he doesn’t look good; it’s just... For someone like Teresa, who could count her male friends on one hand, including men like Foster, a high-quality handsome guy, and Karuz, a super handsome guy, someone with Mo Tan’s sort of looks typically wouldn’t have any impact in theory.

Yet Teresa was indeed impacted, which is ridiculous.

Then, Teresa made a shocking remark about ’Black Vatican Priest being Prince,’ a cringe-inducing and melodramatic line that sounded like a poor soul mentally deranged by cliché, wandering tales.

After declaring the ’Black Vatican Prince Declaration,’ Teresa, upon Foster’s questioning, not only stated that the key factor of the Sumier conflict was ’Black Vatican Priest,’ but also claimed she could discern the latter’s personality from the battle report; essentially, she really liked it!

Oh, God, she just really liked it!

At this point, the older folks were basically on the verge of madness, especially considering Teresa’s awareness that ’Black Vatican Priest’ has a female partner didn’t deter her. She even unreasonably invoked her not-so-favoured nickname [Witch], seemingly intent on challenging that [Saintess].

Honestly, this kind of plot is quite common in mainstream tales; either it’s the inexplicable male character that attracts female attention, the unshakable childhood companion character like Morning Forgotten Language Saintess, or the wild scenario role Teresa aims to play now, it’s all very prevalent.

But that’s within stories!

Outside of stories, developing such feelings for someone could get you scolded! It’s very, very disliked!

To put it nicely, it’s just lovesickness; the worse versions are far more derogatory.

In Foster and Lian’s impression, Teresa, albeit somewhat naive, would definitely not fall under the ’lovesick’ category. She was supposed to be very intelligent, calm, rational, and sensible!

"Little Teresa..."

Lian let out a powerless moan and softly leaned against the sofa back.

"This really is... a completely unexpected twist..."

Foster, upon putting his glasses back on, also tiredly sighed deeply, covering his cheeks, murmuring softly: "Regarding romance... maybe we should call Karuz to chat?"

"Foster!"

With eyes sharp, Lian spoke with a gentle yet dangerous tone: "If it’s Senior Karuz, he’d probably only come up with absurd and inappropriate ideas!"

"True, what about Meili then?"

"She would definitely try to get Teresa drunk and chat away overnight; do you remember what that kid did last time she got drunk?"
