"Thwarted! Silver Griffons banish sex-demon invasion at the Hot House!" Syd lowered the paper from his face to look at Ava across the table. "That’s a good headline."

Ava shrugged as the server put a cup of coffee before her and slipped away. "I just write the article," she admitted.

"Ah, true. But that’s the best part," Syd said, folding the paper over to continue the story on 3B. "Syd Liverin, 48, manager of the Hot House, bravely turned against his former employer and freed the hostages. Although implicated in the criminal conspiracy, Captain Gallave has recommended leniency for Mr. Liverin because of his heroic actions.’ How about that? You made me a hero."

"You did that all on your own, Syd," Ava said, smiling at him over the rim of her coffee. She set it down. "When is your sentencing?"

Syd grunted, shrugging. "Tomorrow morning, but my attorney thinks I’ll get six months of probation. He said he’s never seen the captain of the Silver Griffons write a letter recommending leniency. That judge will definitely see things Gallave’s way."

"I’ll let Gallave know you’re grateful for the good word," Ava said. "Although, you did help Miss Stroud an awful lot. You deserve some sort of punishment."

Ava looked at her own copy of the Morning Wood and once again admired the photograph Karl Krass had chosen to use, instead of the usual woodcut style illustration.

There was little doubt in Ava’s mind where he’d found the photo and it broadcast to everyone that she had been the woman behind all those naughty photos with the raven-haired succubus.

It made her blush just to think of the gruff dwarf perusing her bondage photos.

"You know, you helped her an awful lot too, Ava." Syd grinned.

Ava tightly gripped her coffee cup at that. She sighed and gazed out from the coffee shop at the slight drizzle of rain washing the world.

"I liked Miss Stroud," Ava said softly. "She had so much..."

"Tits?"

"Vision. But that too," she said. "I would have done – I did – whatever she asked me to do. She was so powerful. So beautiful. I miss her already."

"She was gorgeous. And scary. Sexy scary." Syd belted back a gulp of coffee. "She could stiffen my prick with a tease of those hips, but I was afraid she’d somehow suck the life out of me long before I knew she was definitely a succubus. You? I don’t know how you made it through alive. All those late-night photo shoots. All those... things you did with her. And New Larrin knows all about it now."

"Yeah, it’s weird. People have been asking for my autograph on some of those pictures." She shrugged and sipped her coffee and cream. "I sort of like it. I mean, it’ll make it harder to go undercover next time, but it feels good being appreciated. Speaking of which..."

Ava smiled teasingly and moved her foot under the table, brushing it against Syd’s and sliding her toes up his leg.

She gently pushed her foot into his crotch, and Syd let out a groan.

"You saved my life," the elf murmured. "The article wasn’t embellishment, Syd. You turned out to be a hero. And I want to show my appreciation."

"Huh?" His eyes bugged open.

Ava couldn’t help but laugh. "Yes, silly. Finish your coffee. You’re coming back to my place."

"What? Really? Sure! Let’s go!" He chugged the last of his coffee and wiped his lips on his sleeve.

"Wasn’t that hot?"

"Not too much," Syd said tightly his eyes watering a little.

"Hmm. Well, okay! Let’s go." She left a generous tip for the waitress as Syd scrambled out beside her, then offered her his elbow.

Giggling, her dour mood already forgotten, Ava accepted, walking out into the misting rain side-by-side with the sleazy former manager of the Hot House.

The cool mist soaked their faces. Ava could feel men watching her as they crossed the quiet square. Lusting after her. Envious of the fat man with the slicked back hair on her arm. She saw them watching and she stopped Syd.

"Something wrong?" he asked.

"Just something I wanted to do before we go any further," she said. "My hero."

She caught his shoulders with her hands and looked him in the eye.

Ava leaned forward, her heavy breasts pressing against him. Lips parted.

An open kiss that caught him off-guard. Her tongue ventured into his mouth and she kicked up one leg behind her as he took her in his arms and began to reply to her kiss.

All around the square, men watched. Whispered.

"There goes that reporter girl. The one from the dirty pictures."

"Why is she kissing that fatso?"

"What I wouldn’t give for a night with her!"

Ava’s ears twitched as she kissed Syd. She could hear most of the whispering and she savored it.

The lust, the jealousy, and the lingering heat of Miss Stroud’s spell on all these horny men.

Her hand strayed to the growing bulge in Syd’s trousers and this proved to be too much even for the sleazy strip club manager.

"Mmmm? Ava, right here in the square?" He put his arm around her shoulders. "Let’s get under a roof, out of the rain, and we can finish what you started. Where’s your apartment?"

"Just over there," she said, pointing up the street.

Every step seemed to take an hour.

Ava’s core was aching with desire and Syd’s prick was so stiff in his pants that it made it awkward to walk.

They hit the lobby of Ava’s apartment building and started in on each other right there in between the overstuffed chairs and the old copies of the Morning Wood.

Ava’s hand went down Syd’s pants, her fingers wrapping around his cock.

He groaned and caressed her hips. His hands following her curves on both sides until he filled both hands with her firm ass. Their kiss was lewd, loud, and tongue-heavy.
