Crystalline tears dropped from her cheeks onto the casket and sparkled for a moment with the innate magic of elves.

Thorag was no stranger to death, but death of those close to her had been rare.

Elves lived a long time, and though she would come to see those she knew fade with age and turn to dust, she hadn’t thought it would be so soon.

Thorag almost felt she could hear Thorag whispering at her ear, "Goodbye, my elfy cupcake."

Thorag retreated from the graveside and the next mourner approached.

Some in the crowd muttered, but none confronted her.

She returned to the line of waiting carriages, wiping her tears and remembering the intense pleasure of her last meeting with the orc.

Her hand drifted to her taut abdomen and she felt a flutter of desire in her core.

She could almost feel his big hands cupping her ass and lifting her up as his cock threatened to split her apart.

A slight rain pattered on her veil.

The sky was deeply overcast.

A gloom to fit the sadness of the occasion.

She reached the waiting carriage and climbed up.

A figure awaited her in the darkness. Two red eyes stared back at her.

"You!" Thorag cried.

Countess Vargaras’ hand shot out and grabbed Thorag by the ruffled collar of her blouse.

Thorag yelped as the countess hauled her into the carriage and snarled, baring elongated canines.

"You’ve ruined me, Thorag Copperman," she hissed, slamming the door. "I think killing you is the least I can do to repay the favor."

"Killing... me? Wait! Ahhh!" The countess grabbed Thorag and pulled her onto her lap.

She pushed Thorag’s head to the side, baring her pale neck.

Fangs pierced the supple flesh in a flash.

Cold pain stabbed through Thorag’s veins, replaced a moment later by the warm, sucking pleasure of the vampiric feeding.

Thorag clawed weakly at the countess, pulling down one side of her bodice to reveal her left teat and stiff nipple.

"MMmmmmmmm!" Vargaras moaned contentedly, her eyes growing lidded as she suckled at Thorag’s delicious elven blood.

It pumped into the mouth of the vengeful vampiress with each beat of the elf’s fluttering heart.

"Nnnooo," Thorag whimpered, in ecstasy from the feeding, but aware she was in extreme danger.

She fumbled her hand on the soft breast of the countess.

Fingers finding her nipple. Tightening. Pinching. Twisting.

"MmaaaaAAHHH!" Countess Vargaras released Thorag’s blood smeared neck and cried out in pain.

Thorag pushed away from the countess, who looked at her with blazing red eyes.

The murderous vampiress snarled, "You filthy bitch! I’ll kill you slowly for that!"

Suddenly, the door to the carriage was ripped practically off its hinges.

Slade was there, already transformed into his hulking humanoid werewolf form.

His lips curled back from his huge fangs.

"Hello... countess," he said.

Vargaras whirled at him, her bloodstained face turning into a gruesome caricature of her once beautiful features.

She launched herself out of the carriage and directly at the werewolf, knocking him back onto the ground.

Slade might have quickly dispatched her, but elven blood was a particularly potent cocktail for a vampire and her vile powers were heightened.

Her fingers twisted into actual claws that tore ribbons from Slade’s furry body.

"It was her!" Thorag cried, struggling to the door of the carriage. "Countess Vargaras killed Thorag!"

Mourners, including several very large and angry orcs, were beginning to notice the fight happening on the road beside the cemetery.

Not an uncommon occurrence at an orcish funeral, but rarely like this.

Slade managed to yank a stake from his belt and drive it at the countess, but she caught his wrist with a snarl.

He flipped her onto her back and latched his jaws around her throat.

She kicked him off her and leaped at his neck, sinking her fangs into his furry hide.

They fought and snarled and bled, strips of the countess’ clothing, and bunches of fur flying from the combat.

The countess was nearly naked, blood-swollen muscles bulging from her arms and legs, still beautiful, but her face now twisted demonically with fury.

Two burly orcs grabbed her from behind, hauling her away from Slade.

They almost managed to wrestle her to the ground when she suddenly grabbed their heads and slammed them together, sending them crumpling to the ground, insensate.

A third orc, older and covered with battle tattoos, brandished a traditional funeral axe as he advanced on the countess.

She batted aside his weapon as she leaped at him and sunk her fangs into the corded muscles of his neck.

Blood gushed and the brave orc moaned, sagging to his knees as the countess clung to him and slurped at his gushing blood.

Slade saved the orc, swinging a running board torn from the carriage like a weapon and smashing it over Vargaras’ head.

It broke into a dozen pieces, stunning the vampiress, her grip loosening as she swayed back.

Slade grabbed one of the wooden shards, and as the countess turned to look at him, he drove the sharp splinter of wood into her blood-smeared breast.

Wood pierced flesh. Crunched through bone. Impaled the black heart of the countess.

The color drained from her.

She fought for a moment longer, but then the clouds parted in the sky and a ray of light struck her as she fought to dislodge the stake.

Weakened, almost paralyzed, there was no escape.

She wailed as she burst into flames, her unholy existence burning away in moments, and leaving nothing but some charred ruffles and a pile of ash.

Slade staggered back, savaged by her claws and still holding the stake in his good hand.

His fur was matted with blood. His tongue lolled from his mouth.

He started to fall and Thorag just managed to catch him, sadly forgetting he was almost twice her size.

"Ooph!" Thorag gasped, dropping the werewolf to the ground as he transformed back into his human form.

Thorag looked down over his body. His rather naked human form.

"Um, are you alright?" she asked.

"Will be fine," grunted Slade. "Just... need to rest..."

A smile flickered on his face as he promptly passed out.
