Qian Wei’s heart sank. ’If that hits, even my exoskeletal armor won’t be enough.’

Qian Luobing seized the opening and attacked from the right. She pushed off the ground, leaping into the air and bringing her mechanical blade down in a vicious slash toward Fakamo’s upper body.

Fakamo’s upper body instantly swiveled ninety degrees as it raised a clawed hand to block.

The mechanical blade struck the fleshy carapace covering its arm, only managing a shallow cut.

With a sudden burst of Power, Fakamo swiped its arm, sending Qian Luobing flying.

Qian Luobing flipped in mid-air and landed steadily on her feet.

The moment he hit the ground, Qian Wei planted a hand and flipped, landing steadily on his feet.

Fakamo then charged furiously toward Qian Wei.

Qian Wei’s expression changed, and he instinctively fell back.

"Lord Qian Wei!"

A spider tank quickly moved in, swiveling its turret and opening fire on Fakamo, simultaneously launching a barrage of rockets.

Soon, a series of bloodcurdling screams rang out from within the tanks.

Scores of tanks ground to a halt.

Qian Luobing’s gaze turned icy. She turned to Eric and Qian Wei.

"You two, attack together."

"Right!"

Without hesitation, Eric and Qian Wei charged Fakamo once more.

Fakamo grew even more frenzied as it watched the two approach. It charged forward belligerently, swinging its sharp spider blades.

Qian Wei and Eric leaped aside simultaneously to dodge.

After dodging the attack, Eric charged forward recklessly and brought his alloy Giant Hammer down hard on one of Fakamo’s legs.

The spider leg buckled instantly.

Fakamo whipped its head toward Eric, spun around, and launched a flying kick.

THUD~

Eric was sent flying.

Qian Wei quickly closed in, ramming his blade into Fakamo’s torso. He tore the wound open, revealing the dark red flesh within.

"You’re asking to die!"

Fakamo roared in pain, spinning and sweeping its spider blade toward Qian Wei.

Qian Wei yanked his blade free and barely dodged with a desperate, ungainly roll.

Just as Fakamo moved in to finish Qian Wei off...

Qian Luobing leaped onto Fakamo’s back. Planting a foot on its torso, she launched a ferocious attack from its flank.

Fakamo instinctively sensed the danger and spun, swiping a claw at Qian Luobing.

Qian Luobing adjusted her position at the last possible second. The sharp claws scraped past her left shoulder, tearing through her armor and drawing blood.

"Die!"

Qian Luobing cranked her suit’s auxiliary power to maximum. Unleashing her full Power, she swung her blade in a wide, horizontal slash.

’How is this possible?’

Fakamo’s entire upper body was sliced clean off. Its massive lower body froze in place.

Her attack successful, Qian Luobing backflipped off the creature.

"Nice!"

Qian Wei, getting to his feet, saw this and his face lit up.

"We did it."

Jiang Huai and his men were ecstatic.

But just then, something unexpected happened. The surface of Fakamo’s severed torso began to squirm. A red, fleshy tumor bulged out, rapidly reforming into a new upper body.

"It’s still not dead?"

Adika and the others were stunned by the sight. They had never seen anything like it. ’This is insane!’

"Damn it," Qian Wei cursed through gritted teeth.

Qian Luobing’s expression grew even colder. ’I can’t believe it can regenerate even after I sliced off its entire upper body.’

Fakamo turned its hideous face toward Qian Luobing and snarled.

"You ant, you actually managed to wound me. I’ll eat you first. You must be the strongest one here... you must be delicious!"

Qian Luobing’s expression grew colder still. Her left arm hung limp at her side, blood dripping from the wound, but she raised the blade in her right hand to face Fakamo.

Fakamo charged savagely at Qian Luobing, striking at her again and again.

Qian Luobing kept dodging, but her injury made it increasingly difficult.

"Nowhere to run!"

Fakamo swung another of its sharp spider blades, preparing to sweep Qian Luobing off her feet.

"Miss!"

Eric charged in again, raising his alloy Giant Hammer to intercept the blow!

A hideous grin spread across Fakamo’s face. It spun abruptly and swept its spider blade sideways.

SLICE!

In an instant, Eric was sliced in half at the waist. Even his heavy armor couldn’t stop the blow.

"Eric!"

Jiang Huai and the others cried out in disbelief.

A flicker of rage appeared in Qian Luobing’s eyes as she swung her blade at Fakamo.

Fakamo met her attack with a backhanded sweep of its own blade.

CLANG!
