And through the Taming bond, the system started to manoeuvre the energy overflowing from the Nemesis Hydra, carefully pouring it all over the body of Kale, using that to heal the Cursed Tamer through the mechanism of the Octagon Trait of Neo.
The quality of the Refined Flame Essence of the Ancient-rank Core was that, without the Remnant Salamander’s Will making it hostile, it was like a divine elixir of sorts.
Capable of increasing any living being’s affinity to Flame and improving their foundation on a fundamental level. In fact, calling it a Divine Elixir was an understatement, considering its nonsensical advantages.
Kale’s eyes snapped open all of a sudden; his eyes automatically went to the ceiling of the stomach where he was floating in the Leviathan’s digestive acid.
The first thing Kale felt was the soothing and warm sensation flowing through his every blood vessel, mana veins, as well as the Beast Force pathways.
Every cell of his being was energised by the warm and pulsing Flame Essence that felt like Divine Liquid being injected into his cells and tissues.
Mending his broken muscles, and even elevating his physical body to a greater height.
Then a barrage of notifications flashed in his retina, almost blinding him for a small moment...

Kale felt all the lost strength being regained... got up; the system notified him in greater detail of what had happened.
As well as the specific changes within Neo.
Not long after he got up on his two feet, the Hydra came back to where he was. At first, Kale was quite surprised by the drastic change in the size of his Chimaera, and then, as if noticing his scrutiny.
Neo grinned as all three heads activated the Partial Transformation Trait, becoming as small as a fist, just like before.
The Hydra jumped atop his head, acting cute. Kale could not help but smile and pat the back of the creature.
Kale asked the system just to be sure, "The Leviathan is dead, right?"
The system affirmed his words, [Yes, the Magma creature is dead]
Kale put a hand on his chin, wearing a thoughtful look, just as he was about to ask the system how to get out of here. His lips froze, no....
Rather, it was his entire body, like an invisible spectrum of inescapable weight had been pressed down on him, from all directions.
And it was not only him, but Neo as well felt a gargantuan force take hold of the surroundings.
A more apt description of the situation would be that Kale felt like he was standing at the bottom of a lake, a lake made of liquid mercury.
Except for his thoughts as well as Neo’s, everything in the world seemed frozen for that instant, enough so that nothing could move, not even a millimetre of length.
Even the system was silent in the face of that harrowing anomaly that unnerved Kale to his very core. Suddenly, he felt his vision twist and turn.
The world spiralled in his gaze, while a sense of disorientation hit him like a tide. Kale took a few moments, but he eventually remembered this sensation as he had experienced it before. It was teleportation.
The Cursed Tamer’s heart raced frantically, not understanding why this was happening or how it was happening in the first place.
He could not help but curse at his shitty luck, ’Fuck, fuck, fuck fuck. Goddamn it, now what shit do I have to deal with?’
’Maybe the fucking World Dragon just woke up and decided to kill me or something....’ scowled Kale in frustration.
But to his shock, just as abruptly as the teleportation started, it ended in a matter of seconds. With palpating fear in his heart, he blinked his eyes desperately and spread his senses in alert for any immediate danger.
But to his dismay, Kale actually appeared atop the same ground from the very spot where he dropped down to the Beast Tomb. In fact, the place looked nothing like before, with no trace of the lizard carcasses slaughtered or half devoured by Neo.
The massive crack that had formed there previously or the small craters generated due to Neo’s battles were all gone, as if nothing ever happened in the first place.
Kale could naturally move again. He carefully looked at his shoulder, and his Hydra was there. But the creature was also a bit shaken by the suddenness of the event. Kale narrowed his eyes and looked around carefully, examining the ground, the air, the ambient mana of nature.
Making sure that it was indeed the Tigerwood Forest and that there did not seem to be any danger nearby, Kale’s unease had also vanished.
In that moment, the system’s flickering, glitching sound reached his ears once more, and after a few seconds, the mechanical voice echoed in his mind.
[The Host and the Bonded Beast were forced out of the Beast Tomb by Nergal’s World Will, as the Host has completed the challenges with flying colours.]

Reading the first two sentences, Kale heaved a massive sigh of relief, ’So, it was just the World Will kicking me out of Beast Tomb, after I completed the trials in it, by the default mechanism.’
’No wonder the world itself froze, and I was forcefully teleported,’ surmised Kale.
Meanwhile, Neo was extremely happy and let out a mighty roar of joy, finally out of that hellhole of a deep-earth oven.
Kale took a deep breath of the fresh air; he immediately changed his clothes, as the previous ones on his body could hardly be called clothes anymore. In fact, he was greatly surprised by the integrity of the enchanted attires, because the clothes literally went through hell alongside him.
However, another thought seemed to prick Kale’s mind.
The whole thing about the Beast Tomb, from start to finish, just felt too suspicious for some reason. The ground cracking right when he had come to attack the Lizards Nest to train Neo.
And strangely, when he thought about it long and hard. Kale and Neo were both ironically very much equipped with the capabilities to survive that hellhole, which the Cursed Tamer was sure that not even any Grandmaster-ranked Awakened could survive more than a few minutes in there, especially not through the magma river.
