Global Descent: I Alone Can See Hidden Evolution Paths
Chapter 138: let’s go see who is running the universeThe hyper-jump was not a mere travel through space; it was a violent shearing of reality itself.
The Aethel-Prime, now fortified with Null-Matter and humming with the raw, churning entropy of harvested void-energy, tore through the dimensional veil like a golden blade through silk. Outside the panoramic viewing windows of the master command deck, the familiar stars of the known galaxy vanished. In their place stretched an infinite, suffocating expanse of pitch-black nothingness—the Void-Between-Realities, the primordial barrier guarding the legendary Origin Point.
The air inside the bridge grew heavy, thick with a crushing, absolute pressure that made even the immortal lungs of the queens labor for breath.
"Spatial integrity at eighty percent!" Major General Ye-rin called out over the blaring red warning klaxons, her fingers flying across the tactical console with mechanical precision. "The ambient pressure out here is trying to rewrite our hull chemistry!"
"Let it try," Azshara sneered from her command station. Her obsidian crown pulsed with a blinding, blood-red light as she anchored her Abyssal authority into the ship’s mainframe, stabilizing the energy flow. "This vessel is forged from the bones of dead dynasties and a True God’s will. A little cosmic static isn’t going to scratch us."
Min-jae stood at the center of the bridge, his hands casually tucked into the pockets of his black silk tunic. His golden eyes pierced through the dark void ahead, where a colossal, shimmering ring of pure, unadulterated white fire rotated slowly in the center of nothingness.
The Origin Point.
The birthplace of the first gods, and the ultimate sanctuary of the Universe’s Architects.
"We’re not alone," Yoo Ji-a whispered, her violet eyes narrowing as she gripped the hilt of her shadow-spear. "Look at the perimeter of the ring."
From the shadows of the void-between-realities, thousands of jagged, bone-white war-galleys materialized without a single sound of warp-engines. They didn’t bear the insignia of mortal empires or even the Void-Walkers; they carried the stark, terrifying sigil of the Architects—a bleeding eye trapped within an infinite geometric loop.
Before the Aethel-Prime could fully stabilize its shields, a synchronized volley of anti-matter annihilation beams erupted from the enemy fleet, crashing against the ship’s bow in a blinding cataclysm of light and heat.
The massive flagship groaned, violently shuddering from the impact. On the bridge, the shockwave threw the rhythm off balance, but the queens didn’t panic—they smiled.
"They’re trying to gatecrash our arrival," Liu Xiao laughed coldly, her hands glowing with emerald-green kinetic shields that locked into place around the bridge. "How terribly rude of them."
"They want to play bouncers?" Medusa’s emerald eyes flashed with sadistic amusement as she summoned a pair of twin serpent-daggers that crackled with toxic green lightning. "Let’s show them what happens when you interrupt a god’s honeymoon."
Min-jae didn’t hesitate. He raised his right hand and clenched his fist.
[ True God Authority: Kinetic Reversal.]
With a deafening sonic crack that shattered the audio sensors across the entire sector, the energy from the enemy’s anti-matter barrage was caught, reversed, and hurled back tenfold. A blinding wall of golden-white destruction swept across the void, instantly vaporizing three hundred of the enemy’s bone-white war-galleys into absolute subatomic nothingness.
Debris rained into the dark like burning confetti.
"That’s for making noise before breakfast," Lin Miao giggled, her nine white tails lashing through the air as she materialized a bow of pure starlight energy, her sapphire eyes locked onto a nearby command ship.
"They aren’t retreating," Vespera noted sharply, pointing at the tactical display. "They’re forming a containment grid. They’re trying to lock us in this dimension permanently."
"Then we break the grid," Min-jae said, his voice dropping into a deep, terrifying rumble of absolute authority. He turned to his wives, his gaze sweeping over the twelve stunning, lethal women who stood beside him. "No more games. Let’s clear the driveway."
With a flick of his wrist, Min-jae ripped open a massive spatial gateway directly into the center of the enemy’s flagship armada.
The Aethel-Prime didn’t just fire; it surged forward, ramming straight through the leading warship like a heated knife through butter. Metal shrieked, bulkheads collapsed, and the enemy forces descended into absolute, brutal chaos.
Min-jae didn’t stay on the bridge. In a flash of golden light, he teleported straight out into the freezing, high-pressure vacuum of the void-between-realities, standing completely unprotected in the open expanse.
Instantly, hundreds of elite Architect enforcers—towering, multi-armed abominations clad in reality-erasing armor—rushed him from all directions, swinging blades forged from collapsed stars.
Min-jae didn’t even blink. He moved like a ghost, a blur of merciless efficiency.
He caught the first enforcer’s blade with his bare hand, crushing the stellar metal into dust with a casual twitch of his fingers. Before the creature could scream, Min-jae drove his palm straight through its chest armor, ripping its glowing core out and crushing it.
*Splatter.*
Golden-white divine blood and shattered metal drifted into the dark.
"Is that all the Architects have?!" Min-jae’s voice echoed directly into the minds of every combatant across the sector, dripping with sarcastic, chilling amusement. "I expected a pantheon. All I got was a pile of scrap metal!"
From behind him, Azshara and Miao materialized out of a shadow-portal, executing a breathtaking, bloody choreography. Azshara swung her obsidian blade in a wide, lethal arc, cleanly slicing through four enforcers at the waist, while Miao dashed beneath them, her starlight daggers finding the weak points in their armor with surgical, deadly precision.
"Husband is showing off again!" Ji-a laughed wildly from the opposite flank, her shadow-spear impaling three enemies at once before she shattered them into dust with a flick of her wrist.
For twenty minutes, the battlefield was a masterclass in controlled, brutal devastation. The elite Architect armada—a force that had subjugated galaxies for eons—was systematically dismantled, ripped apart, and erased by a True God and his twelve furious, fiercely devoted queens.
When the last enemy warship exploded into a harmless cloud of starlight debris, the silence of the void returned.
Min-jae stood amidst the floating wreckage, his breath steady, his black silk tunic slightly ruffled from the exertion.
Azshara floated over to him, her midnight-silk gown untouched by blood, though her glowing crimson eyes were alive with an intense, fiery passion. She didn’t hesitate; she closed the distance, wrapping her arms tightly around his neck and pulling him into a fierce, demanding, and utterly consuming kiss right there in the open vacuum of space, ignoring the dying embers of the battle around them.
"Mmm~"
A breathless sigh escaped her lips as she tasted the victory on his tongue, her entire body pressing flush against his.
When they finally broke apart for air, Azshara rested her forehead against his chest, her voice softening into a raw, profound emotion. "Ten thousand years of fighting, of bleeding, of wondering if my dynasty’s suffering meant anything... and it led me right here. To you."
Min-jae wrapped his arms securely around her, his fingers tangling in her ink-black hair. He pressed a gentle, loving kiss to the crown of her head. "You fought so you could stand here beside me, Azshara. And we’re never letting go."
Around them, the rest of the queens drifted close, forming a protective, intimate circle in the middle of the cosmic debris. Lin Miao leaned her head against Min-jae’s shoulder, while Liu Xiao and Ji-a rested their hands on his arms.
"Well," Miao smiled brightly, her sapphire eyes sparkling with mischief as she looked up at the massive ring of white fire that now loomed just yards away from them. "The bouncers are gone. Shall we go meet the Architects?"
Min-jae looked at his family—his fierce warriors, his loving wives, his absolute empire—and flashed a confident, wicked grin.
"Let’s go see who’s running the universe," Min-jae said.
With a final, unified step, the thirteen of them walked straight through the ring of white fire, stepping past the veil of reality and into the blinding, infinite light of the Origin Point.
