Whichever faction breaks into the treasured land first will claim these resources, gaining an overwhelming advantage over the other three. After that, it’s a four-way free-for-all until the third stage concludes.

Finally, the lords who advance are selected based on their Combat Points.

Third: Attack-Defense Mode.

The four continents connect sequentially in a straight line (□□□□), and then the factions engage in attack and defense in sequence. (The faction on the first continent attacks the second, the second faction attacks the third, the third attacks the fourth, and the fourth attacks the first.)

Attacks can only be made in that order. Each faction can only attack the one after it while simultaneously defending against the one before it.

If a faction is completely defeated, it is skipped, and the attack proceeds to the next faction in line until a final victor is decided.

However, this third mode is extremely rare; it has only appeared once in history and never again. The first mode is the most common, while the second only appears occasionally.

There are other modes as well, but they’ve never appeared in any competition Cuiwei Star has participated in. That information came from other planets in the Empire, so Guo Liangcai only glossed over them without providing details.
