Global PvP Tower: I Can Infinitely Merge My Units
Chapter 65: Slaughter FestThe Hive’s swarm hit like a wave breaking against rock, hundreds of chitinous shapes pouring out from the asteroid belt in a formation too dense to count individually.
Solveig’s eight clones scattered wide the instant they solidified, each one carrying his full stat line and his full skill set, crimson-gold light trailing behind every strike as they carved into the first wave from eight different angles at once.
’So we don’t get Tower Points for killing them during this event.’ Logan observed.
Billy split without hesitation, the twelve Void Motes peeling away from his main frame and scattering into their own hunting patterns while his own body anchored near the ship’s flank.
Logan also didn’t wait for an opening. He dropped straight into the thickest part of the swarm, Grimlord’s Blade already moving.
Overgrim Slash!
The dark arc tore a clean channel through a dozen Skitterlings in a single line, and Grim Siphoning Edge pulled a healthy chunk of MP back into him before the last of them had even finished falling.
Blade Veil Counter!
A cluster of them lunged at once, and the veil caught all three strikes in the same instant, the counter’s damage boost already carrying into his next swing before the creatures even realized their attack had failed.
Reaper’s Stride carried him from cluster to cluster after that, each blink a little faster than the last, Blood Spores trailing lifesteal behind every cut Grimlord’s Blade actually landed.
Solveig’s clones worked the same way across the far side of the swarm, Wrathbound Wings clipping anything that strayed too close in melee, Astralwind Fury lending extra weight to every swing that connected.
Billy’s twelve Motes hunted independently through the thick of it, Voidfall Cannon lancing out from three different points at once while his own main body used Gravitic Tether to drag entire clusters of Skitterlings together before they ever reached the deck.
The swarm didn’t thin so much as get chewed through, ten minutes of continuous grinding that left all three of them working on instinct more than conscious thought by the time the display flagged something new.
"Three signatures. Big ones." Billy’s voice came through flat. "Heading in from three separate angles."
```
[ Filburn Broodguard has entered the field. ]
[ Filburn Warqueen’s Herald has entered the field. ]
[ Filburn Chrysalis Warden has entered the field. ]
```
Logan didn’t need to say anything. Fifteen minutes of fighting side by side had already taught all three of them how this needed to go.
"Mine’s the fast one." Logan called out, already breaking toward the Herald’s position.
"Big one’s mine." Billy peeled off toward the Broodguard, Motes already streaming back in to rejoin his main frame.
"Then the last one is mine, my lord." Solveig’s remaining clones fell in around him as he turned toward the third signature.
They split three ways at once, the swarm behind them thinning fast enough now that none of it mattered anymore.
---
The Herald moved fast for something its size, four bladed limbs cutting the air in patterns clearly meant to overwhelm rather than simply attack.
```
Logan met the first limb head-on instead of dodging.
Axiom Severance!
His own cut carried straight through the strike and the limb both, like neither one had ever really been solid to begin with. The Herald didn’t slow down for it, three limbs left where four had been a moment earlier, and it pressed the attack anyway with whatever desperation passed for tactics in something built entirely out of instinct.
It was faster than he’d accounted for. A second limb caught him across the shoulder before he cleared the follow-through, hard enough to spin him half around and open a shallow gash through the armor plating there.
’Fast. Faster than the Broodguard, probably faster than me without help.’
Reaper’s Stride!
He blinked clear of the next strike and answered from an angle it hadn’t covered, Grimlord’s Blade opening a second wound along its flank.
Blood Spores!
The Herald didn’t get a chance to shake off the lifesteal before Logan pressed again, MP still comfortable thanks to how much of it Grim Siphoning Edge had already pulled back out of every strike that carried through something with power behind it.
The Herald reeled, its remaining limbs flailing wide in a pattern that had stopped looking like strategy and started looking like panic.
```
[ Filburn Warqueen’s Herald HP: 8% ]
```
Grim Harvest!
The resonance caught immediately, and the Herald’s whole body went still for exactly the half second it took the execute to actually land.
---
Billy came in hot, Form Switch already triggering mid-approach.
```

Duskfall Leviathan’s full silhouette unfolded around him a heartbeat before impact.
Voidfall Cannon!
The beam tore through the Broodguard’s outer carapace and kept going, whatever shields the creature had failed to register the hit at all before the damage came through on the other side.
It didn’t drop. Something that tanky wasn’t going to fold from one shot, and it answered by throwing its whole bulk forward, three limbs already swinging in a wide crushing arc aimed at the Leviathan’s midsection.
Unbound Drift!
Billy tore straight through the incoming arc instead of dodging it, ignoring the limbs entirely and punching clean through the gap between them, momentum carrying him deep enough to rattle the Broodguard’s whole frame from the inside.
It staggered, and Gravitic Tether caught it before it recovered its footing, the gravity field along both wheel-rims dragging the whole creature in tighter, pinning it in place just long enough.
Cataclysmic Wheels!
Both wheels spun up past anything a normal engine could match, and the shockwave that came off them cracked plating that had shrugged off the cannon shot without much trouble at all.
The Broodguard’s retaliation came a half second later than it should have, three limbs lashing out toward the hull in one last attempt at damage before the end.
Kinetic Doom Drive!
Billy turned intangible mid-charge, gathering the whole of his momentum into a single point that passed clean through the retaliating limbs and detonated somewhere deep inside its chest cavity.
The Broodguard came apart from the inside out.
---
The Chrysalis Warden didn’t move fast at all, and Solveig understood inside of five seconds exactly why that didn’t matter.
```
[ Filburn Chrysalis Warden ]
Bloodfall Destruction!
A column of crimson light collapsed onto its shell, and the damage should have meant something. Instead the wound sealed itself shut in front of everyone’s eyes, the Warden’s own regeneration outpacing the hit almost as fast as it landed.
"It’s healing through everything." One of his clones called it out from across the field. "We need to shut that off first."
Crimson Dawn!
Solveig’s own strikes started carrying a burning edge as his HP ticked down from the Warden’s slow, grinding counterattacks, each swing a little more devastating than the last as the fight wore on him.
Aegis Eternal!
He caught the Warden’s next heavy blow on a barrier instead of his own frame, the impact converting into stored power that fed straight back into his following strike, hard enough to actually crack the shell this time.
But the crack sealed anyway, same as everything else had.
’Enough testing it.’
Bloodbreak Zenith!
The strike came up in a single devastating arc, and this time the wound didn’t close. Whatever regeneration the Warden had been running on simply stopped working on that spot entirely, healing banned outright the moment the attack connected.
His clones piled in the instant the opening showed, Sovereign’s Wrath pushing their own Attack higher with every point of HP the Warden had already cost them collectively.
Wrathful Judgment!
The strike landed clean, and with its regeneration already locked out, the Warden’s HP kept dropping instead of climbing back.
```
[ Filburn Chrysalis Warden HP: 9% ]
```
It didn’t reach ten percent again. Whatever was left of it came apart under the combined weight of eight swords and one furious knight who’d stopped holding back the moment the healing stopped mattering.
---
The three of them regrouped near the Mothership’s flank once all three signatures had gone dark, breathing hard, none of them in any hurry to call the last fifteen minutes easy.
By the twenty-five-minute mark, the remaining swarm had thinned to something almost manageable, stragglers picking through the wreckage of everything that had already died rather than mounting any real pressure.
"Something’s coming." Billy’s voice carried a weight it hadn’t had all fight. "Something big."
```
