The panel took its time resolving, longer than it had after his first match, like the system itself needed a moment to actually process everything that had happened in the last two days.

```
[ Your journey in the Star Hunters match is complete. ]
[ Overall Score: 132,400. Player Level: 40 retained. Class Level: 32 retained. ]
```

Logan’s own class level had climbed further than he’d expected during that final stretch. Not the forty he’d never realistically had time to reach, but a solid jump past where he’d checked it last.

```
[ Player’s Match Rank bracket: Apex Predator. Base Reward Multiplier of 1.0x. ]
[ Bonus: Survived Filburn Queen’s targeting. Additional 0.1x multiplier applied. ]
[ Bonus: Defeated the 29-minute mark Boss within the time limit. Additional 0.4x multiplier applied. ]
[ Bonus: Champion standing. Additional 0.5x multiplier applied. ]
[ Total Reward Multiplier: 2.0x. ]
```

’Apex Predator.’ Logan turned the phrase over once as he grinned.

```
[ 132,400 score = 13,240 Tier Points x 2.0. ]
[ Inventory Conversion: 18,000 Tier Points x 2.0. ]
[ Total Tier Points earned: 62,480. ]
```

He stared at the number for a solid ten seconds before it actually finished sinking in.

Sixty-two thousand, four hundred and eighty Tier Points. From a single match.

’Floor One got me forty-one thousand, and I thought that was insane at the time.’ He let out a breath that was half a laugh.

He continued, reading the final line.

```
[Remark: You dominated the match like an Apex Predator. New Title Acquired: The Unfettered. ]
```

’Another title!’ Logan’s eyes glinted. ’I can’t wait to activate these things when the time comes.’

Titles weren’t just for show. They were actual powers. But turning one into an active power meant spending a serious chunk of Tier Points first, fifty thousand for a single Title’s awakening.

Logan sat down slowly on the grass of his own garden, still in the same clothes he’d been wearing when the match pulled him back out, evening light settling gold and quiet over everything around him.

For a long moment, he just breathed.

He hadn’t slept once during a match that had run a day and a half straight, and he was fully spent, especially after that last battle.

He barely managed to lie back and close his eyes before he was already snoring.

"Looks like he’s fully spent." Winsmoke chuckled.

"Indeed. That last action of his was quite concerning." Solveig nodded.

"Let’s get him inside on a bed. Synthia, if you would." Billy turned toward the three newcomers. "His parents and sister should already be home. And you three newbies, just guard the house from out here."

"This guy thinks he’s the leader." Winsmoke chuckled.

Billy raised his nonexistent eyebrows. "Sounds like you want some smoke, Winsmoke."

Winsmoke’s joints and his own blazing core released a curl of smoke as he smiled. "I’ve got plenty of smoke."

"..." Billy rolled his eyes. "You need to watch some TV, dumass."

Solveig and Synthia left, leaving Billy in charge of the three newbies.

Sonic and Terry looked around, curious.

"Can we roam around? I want to see this world."

"Can I root myself into this ground, or not? It might get damaged once I do, but I’d need to be rooted to put up proper defenses around this house."

Andrivida arrived without warning, startling Billy and the other three along with him.

"This whole area’s already under protection. Just relax here. Don’t wander off on your own. Understood?"

Winsmoke, Sonic, and Terry all looked at Billy.

Billy flinched. "What are you looking at me for?! Listen to big sister Andi!"

"Don’t shout, Billy. Or I’ll have to spank you again, like last time you got naughty after watching too much TV."

"G-Got it." Billy turned and left quickly. ’Just wait until I reach Tier-9. Then it’ll be my turn to spank her.’

"Breaking records again." Garen chuckled as he read the news.

"He has real potential." Isolde rubbed her chin. "He uses a sword. Maybe we could convince that old man to take an interest in him."

Garen blinked, a flicker of genuine dread crossing his face. "That old man? He might kill Logan."

His tone sounded half-joking, half-serious.

"He might, but everything we’ve found on Logan so far, from his parents and from other things, his behavior, his grit, all of it points to a ninety-eight percent success rate according to Andrivida that Logan could actually force that old man to take an interest in him and walk away with a proper swordsman capable of making him truly powerful." Isolde smiled. "I think it’s worth taking him for a visit, at least. See what happens."

Garen managed a wry smile. "Well, it’s indeed worth taking him there. If he succeeds, eventually, if we want him standing among the truly strong."

"What’s he doing right now?" Isolde asked, not to Garen at all.

[ Andrivida: He’s sleeping. His body showed clear signs of severe strain, likely from channeling excessive power, but a Tier-4 Mythic-rank potion has already been administered. He should be fully recovered by the time he wakes. ]

"Tomorrow morning, then." Isolde smiled.

Garen nodded. "We’ll have breakfast with all of them first. Taking their son away the second he gets back from the match would be rude, haha."

Isolde chuckled wryly. "True. Might as well turn it into a proper picnic and take all of them for a ride. We can let Logan know about that pill from the Ninth Floor’s Tower Shop while we’re at it. He will definitely buy those. And the earlier he buys them, the better."

"Alice is going to be jealous when she finds out we had an interstellar picnic without her." Garen laughed.

"I do wonder how she’s doing." Isolde smiled.

"She went in with three Mythics. I’m sure she’s having a blast."

---

Morning arrived.

Logan’s eyes fluttered open at roughly seven in the morning.

The ache that had settled so deep into his bones the night before was gone entirely, not even a memory of soreness left behind. He flexed one hand experimentally, then the other, and found nothing but the usual quiet hum of his own strength sitting right where it belonged.

’Guess the potion did its job.’

He was in his own bed, sunlight already creeping soft through the curtains, and for a moment he just lay there letting the ordinary quiet of it settle over him. No alarms. No enemy signatures. No wall he needed to run through.

Just morning.

A knock came at his door a moment later, light and familiar.

"Brother! Are you awake?" Vina’s voice carried through the wood, bright and a little too loud for the hour. "Mom made breakfast! Well, Martha helped a lot, but Mom insisted on doing some of it herself!"

Logan sat up, grinning despite himself. "Give me a minute."

He caught his own reflection in the mirror on the way out, the same face he’d worn to bed, whole and unmarked, nothing left to show for a day and a half of the hardest fighting he’d ever done.

Downstairs, his parents were already at the table, and Helen’s face lit up the second she spotted him on the stairs.

"There he is." Daniel’s voice came warm, relief sitting plain underneath it. "We saw the news. All of it."

"I’m fine." Logan crossed the room and pulled his mother into a proper hug before she could get up herself. "Better than fine, actually."

"You looked terrifying on that leaderboard update." Helen laughed, though her arms held on a beat longer than usual. "A hundred and twenty-four eliminations. I don’t think I want to know what that actually looked like."

"Probably for the best." Logan grinned and finally sat down across from Vina, who was already watching him with open, undisguised excitement.

"Tell me what happened! I want to know what kind of game you played!"

Just then, a familiar aircraft set down in the garden outside before Garen and Isolde emerged from it.

In a blink, they were already in the house.

"We are here for breakfast and some chatting. Hope you don’t mind."
