For a moment, nothing happened.

The resurrected members of the Slave Trade Guild stood silently, their bodies completely restored despite the brutal deaths they had suffered.

Then, without warning, they charged.

"Kill!"

Dozens of voices erupted together as the resurrected members rushed toward Thoren and his undead army, their footsteps hammering against the ancient stone floor while their weapons were raised high.

Unlike before where there was hesitation and fear in their eyes but now, their eyes burn with fanatical excitement as if death itself had become nothing more than another blessing granted to them.

Thoren watched them approach with a cold expression.

Although the scene was bizarre, he had already witnessed their resurrection once, and as long as they could be killed, he saw no reason to retreat.

"Kill them all." His voice was calm and unwavering.

Instantly, the undead responded to their master command.

The undead General stepped forward first, its massive saber dragging across the stone before it suddenly swung upward with terrifying speed, the enormous blade cutting through the air and striking the first member.

Whoosh!

Blood exploded across the ancient staircase.

His body was cut from his shoulder to his waist, and the force of the attack sent him tumbling down the steps while the undead General continued forward without even pausing.

Beside it, the undead Storm Tyrant raised its enormous hammer.

Boom!

The hammer slammed into a member’s chest, crushing his chest and sending him flying backward like a broken doll.

while the undead Kharv charged into another group with his massive axe swinging in wide arcs, each strike producing another burst of blood as bodies were cleaved apart and scattered across the stone.

The undead Royalty Stonewall moved with the same merciless efficiency, its deadly weapon repeatedly cutting through the enemies that attempted to approach Thoren from the side.

The undead Guild Captain stood between the main formation and the remaining attackers, hacking apart anyone who managed to slip through the gaps.

For a brief moment, the battlefield returned to the same bloody slaughter as before.

Bodies fell.

Blood covered the stone.

Severed arms and legs scattered across the ground.

Shattered bones and broken weapons were crushed beneath the feet of the undead.

Thoren remained behind his undead formation, his eyes calmly observing the battlefield as the number of resurrected members continued to decrease.

’So they can still be killed.’ His thoughts had barely formed when something strange caught his attention.

A severed arm lying several meters away suddenly moved.

Thoren’s eyes narrowed.

The fingers slowly curled against the ground before the arm began dragging itself forward, its fingertips scraping across the blood-covered stone as it moved toward the nearest corpse.

At the same time, a severed head lying beside the stairs suddenly opened its eyes.

The mouth slowly stretched into a horrifying grin.

"Hahaha..." The head laughed.

Watching this, Thoren’s expression changed slightly.

Whoosh!

The severed head suddenly moved. It flew through the air and landed against the neck of the corpse lying several meters away.

Crack!

The bones immediately fused together.

The blood that had splattered across the ground began flowing backward, returning to their body as the wounds slowly closed.

While the severed arm that had been crawling across the ground suddenly attached itself to the main body.

Within a few seconds, the figure stood again.

Completely restored.

Thoren stared at him without blinking as if trying to see through the secret of their resurrection.

Then he felt it.

The dead member of the Slave Trade Guild aura had become stronger.

’He became stronger.’

Before he could investigate further, the resurrected figure charged again with a speed that was noticeably greater than before, forcing the undead General to raise its massive saber to block the incoming attack.

Clang!

The collision produced a deafening metallic sound and the undead General’s massive body was forced backward by a step.

Instantly, Thoren narrowed his eyes. Previously, that same warrior would have been completely overwhelmed by the undead General.

Now, he could actually force it backward.

"Kill it again." Thoren’s voice remained calm.

The undead General obeyed.

Its saber flashed.

Whoosh!

The warrior’s head was severed once again, and before his body could collapse, the undead Storm Tyrant’s enormous hammer descended upon him.

BOOM!

The body exploded beneath the hammer, blood and fragments of flesh spraying across the ancient stone.

Thoren watched carefully and this time, he deliberately waited.

The scattered pieces began moving.

A finger twitched.

Then another.

A severed leg dragged itself across the floor.

The head rolled several meters before suddenly stopping and turning toward the rest of the body.

Then everything began moving toward one another.

The dead member of the Slave Trade Guild stood again. And this time, his aura was even stronger.

Thoren’s pupils contracted.

’Again?!’ The realization sent a cold sensation through his mind.

Every time they died, they became stronger.

"Kill!"

Another group rushed forward.

The undead Kharv swung his enormous axe, and one figure was split apart from the shoulder.

His body fell in two pieces.

Without hesitation, the undead Kharv immediately turned toward another target.

But behind him, the severed upper body began crawling across the floor, dragging itself toward the lower half while the severed legs moved in its direction.

Crack!

The two halves joined.

The fighter stood again and his eyes burned brighter. His aura surged and then he attacked undead Kharv.

Bang!

The undead Kharv blocked the attack with his axe, but the force of the collision pushed him backward several steps.

Thoren’s expression finally changed. This was no longer a simple resurrection ability.

The longer this battle continued, the stronger the enemies became.

And that meant his own strategy was becoming a trap.

He had planned to kill them until they could no longer return to life, but if every death allowed them to grow stronger.

Then continuing to kill them would only accelerate the moment when they became powerful enough to destroy his undead.

Suddenly, Thoren’s gaze shifted toward another direction.

The undead General was being pushed backward.

The enemy before it had been killed several times already, and his strength had increased to the point where he could now exchange blows directly with the Level 39 undead.

The undead Storm Tyrant was experiencing the same problem.

Its massive hammer continued smashing enemies apart, but every resurrected enemy that returned was stronger than before.

Boom!

The undead Storm Tyrant blocked an incoming attack and its enormous body trembled. From the side, another Slave Trade Guild member attacked.

Clang!

The impact forced the undead Storm Tyrant backward. At that moment, three more enemies rushed forward.

Furiously, the undead Storm Tyrant swung its hammer desperately.

BOOM!

Two were crushed.

The third survived the strike and immediately charged again.

Meanwhile in another corner, the undead Royalty Stonewall was also being surrounded.

Its deadly blade cut through one enemy after another, but each corpse simply returned to life, while the surviving enemies continued attacking from every direction.

The battlefield was changing.

At first, Thoren’s undead had been the hunters but now they were slowly becoming the hunted. Step by step, the undead formation was pushed down the ancient stairs.

The resurrected members continued advancing with those terrifying smiles on their faces, their bodies covered in blood yet their wounds disappearing almost as quickly as they appeared.

Another was crushed beneath the Storm Tyrant’s hammer until nothing remained but fragments of flesh.

Even those fragments moved.

They gathered.

They reconstructed.

And the warrior returned stronger.

"FOR THE HOLY SON!"

Their fanatical voices echoed throughout the tower, growing louder as the battle intensified.

The crimson blood river surrounding the tower began trembling with every clash.

As for Thoren, his expression became increasingly solemn as he watched his undead being pushed back, suppressed at every turn.

The undead General was forced backward again and again.

The undead Kharv was surrounded.

The Storm Tyrant was beginning to struggle.

The undead Royalty Stonewall had been pushed away from its original position.

Even the Guild Captain was being forced to retreat. And yet the resurrected members refused to die.

No matter how many times they were cut apart, crushed, or pulverized, they simply returned.

Stronger.

Faster.

More violent.

The pressure surrounding Thoren continued to rise until even he could feel the difference.

For the first time since entering the ancient tower, he was being pushed back.

His original confidence had not disappeared, but the situation had become unfavorable enough that he could no longer treat the enemies before him casually.

He stared at another resurrected warrior whose severed head had just returned to his body, watching as the man’s grin widened while his aura climbed once again.

Thoren’s eyes narrowed.

’How many times can they resurrect?’ He thought grimly.

’And how strong will they become if this continues?’

He did not know that either but there was one thing he knew for certain.

If this continued, sooner or later, even his strongest undead would no longer be able to hold them back.
