A breeding ground for an Evil God didn’t necessarily have to conceive the Evil God itself, nothing said it couldn’t conceive other things.
"Why are you here?" Adam asked again.
The black infant fell silent for a moment before slowly speaking. "Because... because there is a... a special item here... that can... that can help my father revive!"
Adam narrowed his eyes, a special item?
"What is it?" Adam pressed on.
"I won’t tell you, even if you kill me, I won’t say it, if I speak of it, I will be killed by my father." A look of profound terror appeared on the black infant’s face.
Adam’s brow furrowed slightly, he knew the entity wasn’t lying.
"Then why did you choose to gestate on a ferry? Did someone help you?" Adam asked again, wanting to know who had secretly assisted this Son of the Evil God.
A flash of toxic resentment crossed the black infant’s eyes, it knew it was unlikely to escape death today, but it refused to give the opponent the answer easily.
"Hiss... don’t even think about getting answers to these key questions, it is impossible for me to tell you, the moment I say it, I will die!" Soul Devourer rasped coldly, its voice filled with venom and hatred.
Adam couldn’t help but laugh, he shook his head and looked down at Soul Devourer. "Very well, you’ve explained yourself clearly enough, now, you can go to hell!"
The Yellow Emperor’s Sword plunged into the black infant’s head once again, piercing straight through its entire brain.
Adam no longer suppressed the Great Sun Golden Flame, he allowed it to engulf and incinerate its entire body.
Soul Devourer shrieked miserably. "I knew you wouldn’t let me go! Don’t get cocky! I will return! Even if you have disguised yourself, when we descend, we will find you, and we will make you wish for death!" Its agonizing voice, laced with a deeply evil aura, sounded like a bellow straight from the depths of hell.
Adam watched indifferently as the black infant’s body gradually turned to ash under the Great Sun Golden Flame, until it vanished without a trace.
Adam’s expression was somewhat solemn, not because he had gained another enemy, he had plenty and didn’t care about adding one more, what was important was that the opponent had seen through his disguise.
This was the most severe issue, however, it seemed the opposing force couldn’t descend immediately.
Evil God? This was the first time he had heard this title in this world, this world had Demon Gods, Heavenly Gods, and Ghost Emperors, but he had never heard the title of Evil God, he had read extensively, yet hadn’t seen it mentioned in any book.
So where did this Evil God come from?
Could they be from another world?
Adam frowned deeply, because he himself was a transmigrator, he naturally thought of this possibility, he couldn’t rule out this theory, and his heart was filled with doubts and vigilance.

Cecilia’s face was full of astonishment. "Another enemy? Wasn’t that black infant destroyed?"
"No, to be precise, that black infant was called Soul Devourer, it is the ninth son of a so-called Evil God!" Adam relayed the information he had obtained to Cecilia.
"What? Evil God? Why haven’t I heard of this title before?" Cecilia’s brows furrowed, she hadn’t heard of it either.
"No need to worry too much, just keep it in mind, they cannot descend upon this world right now, we just need to pay attention to this going forward." Adam told her to ensure she was aware of the threat.

"Young Master, what about the people on the ferry?"
"I still have a few things to ask them." Adam wanted to figure out who had helped the Evil God descend, they were lucky this time that he and Cecilia happened to run into it, if the Evil God’s gestation took place in some deserted corner next time, the outcome wouldn’t be this favorable.
Judging by the name Evil God and the performance of its ninth son, these entities were absolutely not kind souls, their appearance in this world would be another catastrophe.
