Watching the incoming crowd, Adam waved the Yellow Emperor’s Sword in his hand, and countless streaks of sword qi instantly lashed out.
Several miserable shrieks rang out as the followers charging at the very front were pierced through by the sword qi, instantly losing their combat capability.
To Cecilia, it was a challenge, to him, it was an absolute walk in the park.
Seeing this, the followers who hadn’t charged in yet gasped collectively, this was way too terrifying.
"Don’t panic! I’ll hold him off, you guys go deal with that woman!" the yellow-robed man roared from the front line.
"Yes!" the followers echoed in response, they knew the yellow-robed man was a Fifth Heaven Deity expert, even if he couldn’t defeat Adam, he could at least pin him down, and their target was just that girl at the Third Heaven of the Deity Realm.
As long as they captured her, they refused to believe that brat would dare to act recklessly.
Instantly, five Third Heaven Deity Realm followers surged toward Cecilia.
A trace of coldness flashed in Adam’s eyes, bullying him was fine, but bullying Cecilia was crossing the line.
His figure flashed, appearing right behind one of the followers charging at Cecilia, with a sharp sweep of the Yellow Emperor’s Sword, he cleanly severed the man’s head, that follower let out a miserable shriek before his lifeless body collapsed limply to the ground.
Seeing this, the remaining four followers charging toward Cecilia gasped in horror and frantically backed away, too terrifying, Adam’s strength simply exceeded their imaginations.
The yellow-robed man’s expression turned grimly dark, he had just declared he would hold Adam off, only for one of his own men to be killed right away.
"Fall back!" he shouted, hearing the command, those followers hastily retreated, they knew they were no match for Adam, they didn’t even have the ability to fight back.
"Brat, your strength indeed exceeded my expectations, but do you think this is enough to contend with me? My true strength goes far beyond this." The yellow-robed man stared at Adam, a ferocious grin plastered across his face.
"Imperial Dragon’s Envelopment!" Several massive golden dragons descended from the sky, looping and coiling around his entire body, the aura emanating from the yellow-robed man violently erupted, surging straight toward the Sixth Heaven of the Deity Realm.
Adam narrowed his eyes slightly, sure enough, these so-called geniuses still had hidden trump cards.
With a flash of his figure, Adam appeared directly in front of the yellow-robed man and murmured softly, "Now it’s starting to get a little interesting!"
"Sword Opens the Heavenly Gate!" He swung the Yellow Emperor’s Sword fiercely, and a dazzling streak of sword qi shot out.
"I have a sword too!" The yellow-robed man’s face was deeply solemn, clasping his hands together, golden-purple lightning coiled around his entire body, a purple sword slowly materialized in his hand.
"Purple Frost Imperial Apex Sword!" The yellow-robed man swung his sword in response.
The purple and golden sword qi collided in midair, erupting with terrifying energy fluctuations, the surrounding space seemed unable to withstand the power and began to distort.
The yellow-robed man gasped, he could feel that the power of Adam’s sword strike was not the least bit weaker than his own.
"Interesting!" A hint of appreciation flashed in Adam’s eyes, this yellow-robed man was indeed very strong, much stronger than all those so-called geniuses he had encountered before.
The corners of Adam’s mouth turned up, he pulled a formation disc from his robes and tossed it to Cecilia. "Cecilia, fight boldly!"
What he gave her was a life-saving talisman, Cecilia had been following by his side and also needed combat experience, otherwise, she wouldn’t be able to grow.
"Yes, Young Master!" Cecilia understood that she couldn’t stay under the Young Master’s protection forever, she immediately charged toward the crowd, after all, she possessed the Innate Dao Body, apart from the Young Master, she was practically invincible among her peers.
Seeing Cecilia engage those people in battle, Adam turned his attention back to deal with the flashy man enveloped in golden dragons and glowing all over.
"You want to compete in swordsmanship? Then I’ll give you a proper match. However, you’re just so-so!" Adam’s figure flashed, appearing right behind the yellow-robed man, and he swung the Yellow Emperor’s Sword fiercely.
"Wither and Flourish." An extremely ferocious sword qi erupted from the Yellow Emperor’s Sword, slashing directly toward the yellow-robed man.
"Ascending Dragon Sword Qi." The yellow-robed man also slashed out with a streak of sword qi in response.
The two immediately transformed into streams of light, clashing fiercely in midair. Sword qi crisscrossed and the void trembled, their figures moved rapidly through the air, with every collision erupting into intense energy fluctuations.
Although the yellow-robed man was powerful, facing Adam’s Wither and Flourish sword qi, he felt immense pressure, Adam’s sword qi was simply too ferocious, seemingly capable of cleaving through all obstacles, forcing him to go all out just to parry.
Adam also sensed the yellow-robed man’s strength, every time his Ascending Dragon Sword Qi slashed out, it was as if a golden dragon soared into the sky, when it collided with Adam’s sword qi, it let out deafening roars.
Their battle grew increasingly intense, the surrounding space could no longer withstand the collisions of their sword qi, and rifts began to appear.
Finally, after a particularly violent clash, the yellow-robed man’s figure was sent flying backward, crashing heavily onto the ground.
The yellow-robed man scrambled up, a trace of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth, clearly, the previous collision had caused him no small injury.
Adam, however, looked as calm as ever, seemingly unaffected.
"You are very strong, but this is still not enough!" A hint of madness flashed in the yellow-robed man’s eyes, and his body erupted with an even more powerful aura.
"Imperial Dragon Extinguishes the World!" He clasped his hands together, and a massive golden dragon soared into the sky from his body, it then transformed into a golden beam of light that coiled around his purple sword blade, blasting straight toward Adam, this was his strongest sword move.
"Savage!" Adam remained calm and unhurried, up until now, he had only been using the first two stances of the Grass-Character Sword Technique!
