Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Chapter 2122: Exploring the Magic City

Market City

I entered the city and started exploring it. There was really a festive mood here. I liked the vibe. Instead of looking for a hotel to stay in, I began to explore the city on my own.

I came across hawkers and other interesting stalls. I approached the area and saw that they were selling food made from magic monsters.

I didn’t recognize which monster it was, but the locals were loving it. Seeing that, I decided to try some of it.

As time passed, I feasted upon one street food after another. Some had strong, lingering mana in them, but they only cost a few low-grade mana stones.

Later, I continued to walk along the footpath. Both sides of the street were occupied with shops. Not only that, I found out that Market City was not ordinary.

I had sensed more than one Supreme Wizard’s presence here. So, they were visiting the city as well. The city had to have something that attracted them.

A quick gleam appeared in my eyes. I found an empty alley next and brought the zero puppet outside.

I instructed the zero puppet to collect intel. I wanted to know what was going on in the city, along with the list of upcoming events.

The Supreme Wizards might be here for the market or private gatherings. It could be any event. The zero puppet, shrouded in red smoke, obeyed the order.

Next, I told the puppet to find me in the same location two hours later. Two hours was more than enough for the zero puppet to gather information.

When the zero puppet was gone from the place, I pondered whether to bring the other members out or not. They would love to explore the city.

Even if there was a situation ahead, I could handle it.

Swoosh!

I brought the members out one by one. Otto, Patrick, Hank, and the old man Rock appeared. Next, Lady Caitlin appeared as well.

"Wow, what’s this place?" Lady Caitlin asked, as she spread her mental power to observe the place.

So did the others. They immediately knew they were inside a city.

"Yeah, I came across this city earlier and decided to enter it. I found out there is some kind of festival going on. The city is bustling," Jeremy Night said to them.

"It’s great!"

"Then we can find more interesting things," Otto said with a smile.

"I feel a strong presence here," Patrick said.

Hearing that, old man Rock smiled and said, "I sh!t-scared an unknown supreme wizard roaming in disguise."

"Ha... Ha... Ha..." Hearing that, the group let out a laugh.

Hank smiled as well. He had been thinking about improving his strength all these days. He focused most of his time on practicing the mental method.

So he wanted to find something useful.

Everyone was smiling and laughing. Even a smile broke out on Lady Caitlin’s face. But they all had the same thought of improving themselves.

At this point, they were aware of the identity of Master Vincent and the upcoming challenges going to be faced by him.

So the presence of more Magic Lords was needed at this time. It would be great if they had the presence of Forbidden Wizards.

Lady Caitlin and the old man Rock both felt the pressure. They were no longer satisfied with the strength of a Magic Lord.

Before meeting Vincent Carey, they were relaxed and peaceful. Mostly, they were content with their strength, and they wanted to spend their remaining lifespan without worries.

Yet that had changed after meeting and joining Vincent Carey. They had become his team members. Their lifespan problem was solved.

But it had also put an end to their peaceful lives. If they didn’t become stronger, they could be attacked or defeated by enemies.

Although everyone was bound by the crimson artifact, they understood the position of Vincent Carey. Many out there wanted to kill this young man.

So he could only trust himself more than others.

On the other hand, I noticed the change in the expressions of the others. Though everyone was smiling and laughing, I felt they were under some pressure.

I smiled and thought of the resources given to me by Manager Lara. But I still had piles of mid-grade mana stones.

The mid-grade mana stones alone would raise the eyebrows of many people here. Next, I took out a few mana pouches filled with mid-grade mana stones.

I had prepared them a few months back.

"Take these mana pouches. Each has 100,000 mid-grade mana stones." After saying that, I gave a pouch to each of them.

"100,000 mid-grade mana stones!" Otto exclaimed.

The others were a bit too shocked as well. They accepted the mana stone pouches.

Otto and the others accepted their pouches. Lady Caitlin accepted her pouch as well. Then I told them to gather here two hours later.

Next, the members dispersed from the place.

After they were gone from the place, I returned to the main street. Once again, the bustling crowd and shops greeted my eyes.

My gaze swept across the shops. My eyes especially fell on the magic shops. This time, I decided to explore the magic shops.

I was sure they had interesting items. I approached the nearest shop and walked inside. The shop had only one floor, but it had a long hallway.

I began to observe the magic products on the shelves and inside the storage boxes. My masked appearance drew attention.

A female staff member came to help me, but I told her that I was going to look around first. She nodded her head and left.

I came across small artifacts, but they were not giving off any mana fluctuations. I didn’t use the system’s help; otherwise, I would know the answer soon.

Since it was a break, I was going to explore the shop myself. On the other hand, I kept an eye on my surroundings as well.

Here, the Wizards were between Mid- and High-Tier Wizards.

Meanwhile,

Lady Caitlin quickly came across a huge market. The place was to her liking. She quickly entered exploration mode.

Similarly, the other members quickly found something interesting to do. They also found out that the city was larger than they had thought.
