Not far behind him was the channel connecting the freezing air with the outside world.
He didn’t know where he was, but it didn’t look like the inside of a living creature at all.
Li Wei had expected to see a giant, fleshy cavity or something of the sort.
But the scene before him looked more like a cave.
If not for the occasional twitch of the surrounding walls, Li Wei would have thought he had entered a cave.
He released his Spiritual Perception, only to find it couldn’t penetrate the surrounding flesh.
It could only extend straight ahead along the narrow passage.
His Spiritual Perception stretched out for over a thousand meters without detecting any signs of abnormality.
Even with Spiritual Perception as extensive as Li Wei’s, finding the so-called foreign object inside the colossal Ice Emperor was incredibly difficult without being able to penetrate its fleshy walls.
To a large extent, it would come down to luck.
Li Wei looked at Saint Xi beside him and asked, "Which way do we go now?"
Since Saint Xi had heard the Ice Emperor’s cry for help, it was best to let her lead the way.

His gaze pierced the darkness, crossing a vast distance to see the end of the field.
A colossal white wall stood there, extending endlessly to both sides, as far as the eye could see.
After a moment’s thought, Li Wei guessed this might be the Ice Emperor’s mouth.
"We have to go down," Saint Xi said.
Li Wei nodded and jumped down with her.
The passage they had emerged from was several dozen meters above the vast field below.
Li Wei looked in the opposite direction of the white wall and, as expected, saw a bottomless black hole.
’That must be the esophagus.’
While still in mid-air, Saint Xi shouted, "I see it!"
Li Wei looked at her in confusion and asked, "See what?"
"The foreign object! The thing that’s hurting the big guy!"
Li Wei quickly looked in the direction she was pointing.
After careful observation, he saw many tiny black dots on the sloping field below.
Li Wei and Saint Xi flew toward them. As they got closer, Li Wei saw what the little black dots were and his expression turned to shock.
"Star Worms? Why are they here?"
The appearance of Star Worms in the Ice Emperor’s mouth was completely unexpected.
Star Worms were creatures from the Star Realm with extremely powerful adaptive abilities.
The same attack could almost never harm a Star Worm twice.
Li Wei had only ever seen Star Worms in the Infinite Maze before.
The Infinite Maze was the name given by the Elemental Tower; the place’s real name was the Divine Prison.
It was there that Li Wei had obtained his first Legendary Weapon, the Blade of Judgment.
It was a superweapon with a powerful instant-death effect that could easily kill any enemy below Legendary Level.
Li Wei hadn’t used this weapon much recently.
However, the current situation seemed to be the perfect time to use the Blade of Judgment.
After all, against anything but the Blade of Judgment, the Star Worms would adapt to any type of attack, gradually rendering it ineffective.
Only an attack on the level of a Rule could cause absolute damage to a Star Worm.
The Star Worms on the field also spotted the two in the air. Their carapaces split open, and wings as thin as a cicada’s sprouted out. They flew toward the pair with a loud BUZZZZZ.
A dense swarm of Star Worms flew over like a plague of locusts.
WHOOSH!
The Blade of Judgment transformed into a bright white streak of light, carving a beautiful arc as it shot into the swarm of Star Worms.
PFFT! PFFT! PFFT!
In an instant, the streak of light erupted like a storm, shredding a massive number of Star Worms.
