Harry Returning from Hogwarts Legacy

Chapter 867 - 352: Double Standards

Chapter 867: Chapter 352: Double Standards

"However," Vivi shook the dark green sweater, "why did Mrs. Weasley send my gift to you?"

"Probably for convenience," Harry shrugged, "but I think she was worried you might not be at number twelve Grimmauld Square, so she sent it to me—look, Pabi’s, Cassandra’s, and Annie’s are all here..."

He flipped through the gifts below; Pabi’s sweater was Hufflepuff yellow, while Cassandra’s and Annie’s were light green and grass green.

It seems the sweater colors are determined by the house—but here comes the problem: all three in Slytherin only have the house green, so Mrs. Weasley chose three different shades of green.

That’s the only way to distinguish them; it’s not ideal to use just one color, right?

But speaking frankly, these color sweaters really don’t look good.

Vivi took off her nightgown, her flawless figure displayed before Harry.

She picked up the sweater and put it on, and truth be told, while the sweater indeed doesn’t look great, on the other hand...

"I think this sweater looks quite nice." Vivi walked to the floor mirror, checking herself out, feeling quite satisfied.

Harry pursed his lips.

"It’s not the clothes that look good, it’s the person," he chose to speak bluntly.

No argument there, a girl as pretty as Vivi would look good even in a sack.

There’s that modeling aspect.

Even though Harry had praised her many times before, Vivi still felt delighted by compliments.

She leaned down and kissed Harry’s cheek.

"This is a reward for your sweet words," she said.

"I’m just speaking the truth," Harry replied.

At breakfast, all the girls who received gifts from Mrs. Weasley had changed into their sweaters, including Cassandra.

To Harry’s surprise, he thought a girl like Cassandra would never wear such an... indescribable sweater, but unexpectedly, Cassandra accepted it cheerfully.

"Don’t look at me like that, I know what you’re thinking." Cassandra glanced at Harry in disdain, "Do you really think I’m the kind of arrogant person who looks down on others?"

"Of course not," Harry quickly explained.

"Ha." Cassandra clearly didn’t believe, but she also didn’t bother saying more.

"I’ve already had Kreacher prepare the Christmas dinner, along with Ruby and them," said Little Sirius during breakfast, "I’m planning to make some eggnog later, who wants to help me?"

"I’ll help you, Mr. Black," Miss Fari said from the side.

Vivi and Harry exchanged a glance, both seeing the amusement in each other’s eyes.

Still calling him ’Mr. Black’?

With the level of familiarity you two have, shouldn’t you call him "Little Sirius" directly?

"Oh, I have you." Little Sirius’s expression remained neutral, "Anyone else?"

"No, I’d like to chat with Mr. Potter." Vivi deliberately emphasized the words ’Mr. Potter’.

A bit of a sarcastic tone there.

Sure enough, Miss Fari pouted silently in protest at her superior’s teasing.

The Christmas of 1995 was quite peaceful, nothing major happened.

Harry even received a blessing from Dumbledore, though it was delivered by Phineas.

Through the message, Harry also learned of Dumbledore’s recent whereabouts—he’s been tracking Voldemort’s clues and seems to have made considerable progress lately.

"Looks like Professor Dumbledore is really contributing to peace in the British Magic World," Vivi said meaningfully, "If it were me, I would follow our original plan—whatever it takes, make everyone clearly aware of Voldemort’s return."

"Professor Dumbledore believes that many people would die," Harry said, crossing his legs.

"Really?" Vivi responded noncommittally, shaking her head, "Just some deaths, if they could trust Dumbledore and believe the rumors of Voldemort’s return, how would they die? In the end, Dumbledore is not the Minister of Magic, and has no obligation to babysit, you understand? He’s just the headmaster of Hogwarts, only responsible for the students there; the British Magic World is the Minister of Magic’s concern."

"What I find interesting is," Cassandra spoke up, "that someone of Dumbledore’s high character still has quite a few disbelievers, who prefer to trust the Ministry of Magic—in that regard, I support Grindelwald, not everyone deserves saving."

If Harry hadn’t been influenced by these two women, hadn’t been educated at the Malfoy family, he surely would have found this choice too cold-blooded.

But now, as someone who has received a proper education, he naturally doesn’t find anything wrong with this view.

"Respect, bless," Harry shrugged, "that’s what we should do, those who believe Voldemort has returned will be extremely vigilant... of course, since Professor Dumbledore has chosen this path, we must respect his decision."

"He’s a noble person," Pabi said a bit regretfully.

She indeed felt regretful, after all, Dumbledore is a good person, apart from not having the right orientation, he hadn’t done anything terribly wrong.

As for dealing with Young Tom Riddle, it’s just that even if Dumbledore is a master educator, he couldn’t turn him from evil to good, such naturally bad seeds are not easily reformed.
