Harry Returning from Hogwarts Legacy
Chapter 926 - 375: A "Lively" BanquetChapter 926: Chapter 375: A "Lively" Banquet
Harry was almost itching to return to Number Twelve Grimmauld Place, to see whether Professor Snape would actually accept his Godfather’s invitation to attend the dinner.
He knew it wasn’t right to think like that, but he couldn’t help himself.
At this moment, the Grangers also walked over.
They greeted everyone first and then hugged Hermione one after another.
"Are we going to Number Twelve Grimmauld Place tonight?" Mr. Granger asked first, "I haven’t been there for quite a while. Ever since Little Sirius became a big shot, he’s been busy to death."
"Yes, Mr. Granger," Harry nodded and said.
Little Sirius had a good relationship with Mr. Granger, and with Mr. Weasley. The few men together seemed to have endless topics to talk about, ranging from the culture of the Magic World and Muggle World, to politics and economics, down to history and philosophy. They talked about everything.
Even after becoming the Minister of Magic, Little Sirius considered hiring Mr. Granger as his personal advisor, but since Mr. Granger was a Muggle, it could cause backlash among wizards, so he didn’t bring it up.
"Speaking of which, I haven’t seen your uncle’s family for quite a while," Mr. Granger said again, "How are they doing recently? Have you contacted them?"
"They seem to be doing quite well," Harry raised his eyebrows and said.
How can you say ’quite well’?
It was exceptionally well!
After the Dursley family rose to prominence, Uncle Vernon didn’t forget about Harry. He not only bought him a villa but even gave him a sports car for Christmas last year.
Although Harry hasn’t stayed at that villa much.
"Your uncle is quite an interesting person," Mr. Granger said with a chuckle.
Harry just echoed him, but didn’t agree internally.
Uncle Vernon?
Does he resemble interesting at all?
If you put him in the United States, Uncle Vernon would be an extremely conservative redneck.
"I think we should get going," Mr. Weasley suggested, "Don’t keep Little Sirius waiting too long. Come... let’s get in the car first and talk then."
They all came to Mr. Weasley’s Flying Car, and Harry counted carefully. At least three cars would be needed to fit so many people.
But it doesn’t matter, for this is the Magic World. The car has been enchanted with a Traceless Stretching Spell, enough to fit dozens of people inside.
They boarded the car in order, Ron and Harry along with the twins sat in the spacious back seat, and upon getting in, Fred flaunted his Dragon Skin Jacket to Ron.
"I’ll get you one for Christmas," Fred said, seeing Ron about to speak, he cut him off, "Of course, as a reward for helping us distribute flyers, we’re deciding to give you one with the same design in advance."
"Yes, men should treat their family better," George concluded, before suddenly declaring with a sacred expression: "Because those who don’t make time for their families aren’t real men."
"He’s seen ’The Godfather’ too much," Hermione sniped sharply from the front seat.
"The Godfather?" Mr. Weasley asked interestedly, "What is it? A book?"
"It’s a book and also a movie, very popular in the Muggle World," Mr. Granger explained with a smile to Mr. Weasley, "Some in the Muggle World even call it the ’Bible’ for men."
"That impressive?" Mr. Weasley expressed great interest, "Looks like I have to find time to watch this movie."
"Don’t worry, Dad, we have the tapes," Fred and George said in unison.
After driving to a secluded spot, Mr. Weasley immediately activated the Invisibility Device, and the car soared into the sky.
"No matter how many times I ride it, I can’t help but marvel at the magic," Mr. Granger said in amazement, "Thanks to our darling daughter having magical talent, or else I’d never experience something this novel and interesting."
The car flew swiftly in the sky, no need to find highways, no worry about traffic.
After about an hour, they arrived at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place.
Harry stepped forward and knocked on the door.
The door opened, and it was Draco who opened it for them.
"Oh, look who’s here?" Draco said with a grin, "Visitors at Number Twelve Grimmauld Place?"
Ron didn’t say a word, just shoved Draco aside.
"Step aside, doorman," he said.
Draco was so angry he wanted to kick Ron, but Ron dodged it, and even made a face at Draco.
Draco was really pissed.
"Seems everyone’s here," Harry looked over Draco’s shoulder and saw the Malfoys sitting in the living room, chatting with Professor Snape.
Seeing the group arrive, Professor Snape merely lifted his eyelids—in seeing Lupin, it was obvious he made a sneer.
So many years, he still couldn’t forget Lupin, my heart goes out.
"Oh, Professor Snape," Harry greeted Snape with a smile, pulling Ron and Hermione to greet him together.
Professor Snape stiffly nodded at the three of them, then deliberately gave Ron a scrutinizing look, making Ron a bit uneasy.
"Weasley!" Professor Snape suddenly called on Ron.
"Present!" Ron stood at attention.
"What color should the Shrinking Potion be?" Professor Snape asked.
