Chapter 33- Late-night Gathering

Chapter 33: Chapter 33- Late-night Gathering

It was An Mo’s turn to tilt his head and fall into deep thought. But after only a few seconds he nodded and said.

“Xai-xai, you’re right. If anything, I can just teleport us away immediately.”

An Mo tightened his grip on Xai Lin’s hand and looked at her with a serious expression on his face.

Xai Lin smiled at this, before she stepped forward and stood on tiptoes to plant a kiss on the corner of An Mo’s lips.

Then, before An Mo could react, Xai Lin’s body began to transform.

In only a few seconds, she transformed into a pure white panda that was almost as large as Bai Nou.

On the ground, An Mo looked up at Xai Lin, who was standing on two legs, with curious eyes. He had to admit; that Heaven and Earth Refinement Scripture was indeed a vicious technique for Spirit Beast and Demonic Beast alike.

Reaching out, An Mo ran his fingers through the hair on Xai Lin’s leg. Immediately, his golden eyes lit up. Now he somewhat understood why Xai Lin liked touching him, this sensation was extremely addictive.

However, before An Mo got too engrossed in his actions, Xai Lin’s voice came from above.

“An Mo, do you think now’s the time for this? You should be focusing on whether we can leave this place, and what we’ll encounter after we leave.”

After saying that, Xai Lin reached out with her large fluffy looking paw toward An Mo.

An Mo clicked his tongue hearing that. While leaping up onto Xai Lin’s lowered paw, he mumbled under his breath.

“Aren’t you just unwilling to be on the other end?”

Xai Lin acted like she hadn’t heard An Mo and brought her hand up to the pouch on her belly.

Upon seeing this, An Mo suddenly thought of something, and his entire body seemed to come alive, with his pupils seeming to turn into two bright golden suns.

Without waiting for Xai Lin’s hand to reach its destination, he leaped up and latched onto the fur on her belly. Then, without a word. he hurriedly slipped into her baby pouch.

When Xai Lin saw how excited An Mo was about entering her pouch, black lines immediately appeared on her face. Did he think she could produce milk or something?

However, Xai Lin decided not to bother with her childish Dao Partner, she’d just take advantage of him some more in the future.

With a thought, a small teleportation token appeared on Xai Lin’s large paw. Then, bending one of her fingers she crushed it.

Immediately after, intense ripples spread out and covered her large frame, before extending to the faint ripples in the void above the stream.

At the moment the two forces touched, Xai Lin’s large white figure disappeared from the Demonic Realm. This indicated that they had successfully bypassed the restriction over the Low-level Dimensional Fold and left the Demonic Realm.

However, what the two youths would never know was that the moment Xai Lin had agreed to leave the Demonic Realm with An Mo, the beasts in the Mid-level and High-level Dimensional Fold had all let out roars of excitement. There was even a gathering to celebrate this news.

Even though they were later dumbfounded when the two suddenly became Dao Companions, after only a moment, they recovered and celebrated even harder.

When they finally sensed that heavy entanglement of karma, which had slowly permeated across the entirety of the Demonic Realm for fifteen years, had vanished, they all breathed a heavy sigh of relief, with some even weeping tears, and howling that a heavenly disaster had finally left their home.

As for how it had entered in the first place, they didn’t know, and they didn’t dare try finding out in fear of prying into Heavenly Secrets and triggering their Heavenly Tribulation several thousand years too early.

....

...

..

Near the eastern edge of the Su Continent, which was ruled by the Su Clan, disciples of the Earthly Spear Immortal Sect were gathered together under the starry night sky in different groups, chatting and eating beast meat, which they had caught from the forest nearby.

The conversations were varied, but most of them surrounded the events of what had occurred in the Secret Realm, the entrance of which was a few hundred meters away from their encampment.

These disciples were the ones who had broken the Realm wall and entered the Demonic Realm to chase after that thief.

After returning, they realized they could not go back into the Secret Realm as it was closed from the outside.

Thus, they had impulsively chased after that thief and exited the Secret Realm before it was time for it to close in order to retrieve their stolen opportunities, but now they had returned empty-handed and were unable to reenter the Secret Realm to search for more opportunities.

But they chose to stay here because news had traveled that their Holy Son, Sikong, had remained to find that thief inside the Demonic Realm.

They were initially hopeful after hearing this news from Su Jin, the younger brother of Sikong. And their confidence was also further bolstered after their Third Elder, Elder Su, appeared. However, after only a few days, their Elder Su had inexplicably coughed up a mouth full of blood, and before they could recover, they saw their Holy Son, Sikong, returned in a disheveled state.

Without needing an explanation, they could guess that he had failed to capture that thief.

As for what happened after they had left, some parts of it were told to Elder Su, who then told them. Those included the thief’s true appearance and abilities.

For the other parts that were kept hidden, Sikong had reluctantly told his younger brother after being pestered, who then whispered it to a few friends. Obviously, those friends told their friends, and soon, everyone here knew that their Holy Son had been defeated by a strange Spirit Beast, before then being forced by that thief to swear a Dao Oath to never seek revenge in the future.

However, they obviously discussed this matter in hush whispers, as this was extremely humiliating for Sikong. Though, this entire situation could also be considered a slap in the face for them and their entire Earthly Spear Immortal Sect as well.

Every so often, a drunken disciple’s voice could be heard echoing across the encampment about how they would deal with that thief if they ever saw her again in the future, only to be dragged back to sit down by a friend.

This sentiment only increased as more and more disciples began exiting the Secret Realm and learning about these matters after joining this unexpected late-night gathering.
