"Come!"
Priam’s roar echoed like an ancient thunderclap, making the earth and air tremble throughout the entire region.
In that millisecond, his eyes pulsed with a terrifying golden glow, and a colossal aura erupted from his pores like divine flames, bathing the world in a blinding flash.
Those golden flames expanded furiously, distorting space itself and making the surroundings shrink beneath an overwhelming pressure.
Then, in a fraction of a second, all that titanic energy abruptly retracted, clinging tightly to his skin and body.
Priam now looked as if he were wearing majestic armor, gleaming with pure gold and emitting truly terrifying fluctuations of power.
*CLANG!*
His fists slammed against each other, producing a violent metallic boom.
Intense crimson flames emerged from his hands, fueled by the accelerated burning of his life force.
A crooked smile appeared on Priam’s lips. He had finally managed to manifest the *Heavenly Battle Armor*—the supreme combat technique passed down through the Fist God’s inheritance.
As for the crimson flames around his fists, they belonged to another technique from the same master, which, by a fortunate coincidence, also burned the user’s life force in exchange for unprecedented destructive power.
Now, Priam no longer depended on that Magic Art he had stolen from a Sorcerer to fight at the highest level.
Cultivating the Fist God’s inheritance caused the user’s life force to grow to extreme levels while also allowing it to recover rapidly. When using its techniques, that life force was burned, creating a natural limiter.
But in Priam’s case, that limitation actually worked in his favor. He could use these techniques at 150% power without fear, since his life force recovered ten times faster because of the Nexus Seed.
He could even go far beyond that; all he needed was to create Power Runes that could assist him.
In other words... Priam could use the Fist God’s techniques much better than their original creator.
Priam clenched his fists.
Even without a single Power Rune active at that moment, an unprecedented vigor flowed through his veins like a raging river.
Unfortunately, this state put tremendous strain on his body, even with the vast amount of life force available to him, making it impossible to maintain for very long.
In the end, Priam was still a mortal, not the Fist God. A mortal body had natural limitations that not even all the power in the world could overcome.
*BOOM!*
The ground collapsed beneath his feet, and the surrounding mountains trembled.
At that moment, Priam looked like the very incarnation of a golden god of war, rewriting the laws of matter with every step.
Mikhella froze, paralyzed for several seconds. The figure standing before her didn’t look like an ordinary Mage—it was the pure manifestation of tyranny.
Priam took a deep breath, savoring the transformation. Before, summoning that armor had seemed almost impossible, since it required the internal construction of thousands of interconnected runes, much like a complex Magic Art from his homeworld.
However, after spending months fighting nonstop and training relentlessly in that abyss, he had finally mastered its structure.
After only a few seconds of contemplation, Priam advanced.
Gathering a dense, blazing battle aura around his fists, he unleashed a straight punch that simply tore through the atmosphere. The resulting shockwave surged forward like an invisible meteor, slicing through space directly toward Mikhella, twelve meters away.
Sensing the mortal danger, Mikhella pushed her senses to their limits, crushing the visceral fear that was trying to paralyze her legs.
"Hmph! Let’s see if those fists of yours can withstand my spear! Glacial Spirit Manifestation!"
Mikhella sneered, her voice echoing with authority.
Behind her, the moisture in the air and the surrounding water violently condensed into a brutal vortex, raising the silhouette of a deity made of ice and mist. The temperature of the area instantly plummeted to freezing levels. When Mikhella fused with that projection, her power overflowed without limits.
Priam sensed an enormous fluctuation in the girl’s bloodline. This was undoubtedly her race’s Ancient Art being pushed to its absolute peak.
With a fluid and graceful movement, Mikhella’s spear became enveloped in freezing torrents and thrust forward, colliding head-on with the devastating impact of Priam’s fist.
*BOOM!*
That was a battle between two elite Mage Masters, both of them standing at a level very close to a Sage’s power. Their raw strength alone was already enough to shake the sky and earth of an entire planet.
The collision generated such a brutal pressure wave that the nearest cliff collapsed instantly. A colossal rock formation, several kilometers high, was reduced to rubble in a catastrophic avalanche.
Neither of them hesitated or took a step back.
Priam advanced like a storm, throwing brutal, heavy, lightning-fast punches every millisecond.
Mikhella answered in kind with precise thrusts of her spear, skillfully alternating between flowing currents of water to deflect the crushing impacts and rigid blades of ice to try to pierce Priam’s golden defense.
*BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!*
Every collision between Priam’s fists, coated in overwhelming power, and the frozen tip of the spear generated colossal shockwaves.
The gigantic rocks falling from the valley were instantly reduced to imperceptible dust. The ground sank in layers. The entire valley collapsed as if it were witnessing the very end of the world.
*BANG!*
A stone meteor fell straight onto both their heads, but exploded into a million fragments the very next millisecond, swept away by the pressure wave generated by the two fighters.
Amidst the thick dust rising all the way to the clouds, brutal exchanges of punches and thrusts continued at an insane pace.
They fought nonstop for several minutes without either of them showing the slightest sign of hesitation. Their auras only grew stronger, making the atmosphere increasingly dense and suffocating.
Priam was visibly excited. This was the perfect training ground to feel the limits of his new techniques and test their range!
He had limited himself to using only this new power at its maximum, without relying on anything beyond his enhanced physique and life force.
If Mikhella knew that Priam wasn’t using even a drop of his Ether to fight her on equal terms, she would’ve dropped dead on the spot from sheer terror.
*BOOM!*
One final impact sent them both flying dozens of meters backward.
Priam’s chest heaved slightly.
He had to admit it: Mikhella was a truly talented Mage. Her combat techniques and reflexes were as sharp as those of a veteran hardened by hundreds of battles. Too bad she was nothing more than a self-centered bitch who cared about nothing beyond herself.
On the other side, Mikhella felt a cold horror devouring her soul.
Her Ancestral Art consumed a colossal amount of energy, and even pushing her body to its limits, she simply couldn’t break through the physical defense of that monster’s bare body!
"You forced me into this..." Mikhella growled, her eyes filled with an almost vicious killing intent.
Her spear began to vibrate violently. The air around her instantly froze across a wide radius, and all the Qi and energy in the environment began to be sucked toward the tip of her weapon like a vacuum.
"Relying on the sealed power of a weapon? How pathetic, Mikhella," Priam taunted, adjusting his combat stance without showing the slightest hint of apprehension.
That was the hidden power within the spear’s core — it was a legendary Sage-Level weapon.
All Sages used high-level equipment capable of shaping the energies of their surroundings to fight. But no Mage should have been capable of drawing out the full power of an item of this caliber.
Her mother, an Elder Leader of the branch, had surely sealed a portion of her own power inside the weapon so her daughter could use it in extreme emergencies.
"Resources are power too! You’re dying here today!"
Mikhella took a firm step forward.
Crystalline streams of water and freezing air from a radius of several kilometers converged violently toward the spear, immobilizing the very space around Priam.
Priam took a deep breath. He concentrated the entire energy of the Celestial Armor and burned the absolute limit of his life force into his right fist.
The air around his hand began to distort and crackle; a devastating crimson glow radiated from his knuckles.
"DIE!" Mikhella thrust forward, launching the spear wrapped in a colossal drill of absolute ice.
Priam snorted and threw a straight punch, as if hammering the very heavens themselves.
**KBOOOM!!!**
Priam’s bare fist collided directly with the tip of the ice drill. The impact caused the earth to collapse for dozens of kilometers around them, while a hurricane of destructive energy swept away everything that remained of the valley.
Both of them vomited blood from the collision and were hurled with brutal force into the collapsing cliffs, becoming completely buried beneath the rocks.
Seconds later, the ice exploded into a thousand pieces.
Mikhella emerged from the rubble with her clothes torn apart, her hair completely disheveled, and the hand gripping the spear reduced to raw flesh, blood pouring from it.
Before she could even get her bearings, a deadly chill ran down her spine.
She threw her body to the side purely on instinct.
*BOOM!*
Priam’s fist exploded exactly where she had been a second earlier, opening a bottomless crater in the ground.
The shockwave from the impact hit Mikhella head-on in midair, making her spit out another mouthful of blood as the residual force paralyzed her meridians.
Before she could even catch her breath—
*POW!*
That infamous black branch cut through the air and slammed violently into her face, sending her crashing into the ground with a muffled boom.
Mikhella blacked out instantly, sprawled on the ground like a broken rag doll, with no strength, no aura, and absolutely no chance of retaliating.
