Heretic Trainer: The Gym Is My Cultivation Method
Chapter 746: Pinching Away the VoidNot long after Garion, Rachel, and the Dragon Gods escaped from the void, the shattered region finally began to quiet down.
The silent void storm continued raging for several breaths, twisting space into countless broken layers.
No normal Celestial Realm cultivator could have survived being caught inside that explosion.
Even ordinary Gods would have needed to take it seriously.
Then, suddenly, a blurry figure appeared in the middle of the collapsing void.
The figure looked almost unreal.
Her body was covered by faint distortion, making it impossible to see her face clearly.
But from the graceful curve of her silhouette, she was clearly a beautiful woman.
She stood there calmly, surrounded by broken space, as if the void storm was nothing more than a messy room.
Her hand slowly lifted and pinched the air, and just like that, the terrifying explosion disappeared, as if it had never even existed.
For a moment, the blurry woman remained completely still before suddenly pausing. "Hm?"
A faint ripple passed through her figure as she sensed something strangely familiar nearby.
A moment later, she grinned. "Interesting."
Her voice was soft, almost playful, but the surrounding void trembled faintly when she spoke. "Another one has reached this level."
The blurry woman turned toward the direction where Garion had disappeared.
Her unseen eyes seemed to pierce through space, distance, and countless layers of divine protection. "Let me see... which one is it?"
The next moment, her figure dissolved into countless motes of pale light, leaving behind only her soft voice. "This should be fun."
---
Garion reappeared inside the meeting hall, still holding Rachel’s hand.
A second later, Nyxvar Voidscale also stepped out from a black-purple spatial crack, his expression colder than before.
Behind him, Aurelion, Abyron, Selkhara, Verdroth, and Varkhor returned one after another.
For a brief moment, none of them spoke.
Garion looked toward the space where the rift had closed, then rubbed the back of his neck. "Goddamn."
Rachel looked at him. "Are you alright?"
Garion nodded, though his expression was rare and serious. "Yeah. But that was dangerous."
Atlas immediately flew in front of his face.
[Dangerous? Dangerous?! That thing almost turned you into broken spatial dust! Why are you saying it like you nearly slipped in the bathroom?!]
Garion waved him away. "I said it was dangerous."
[You sounded impressed.]
Garion grinned slightly. "I was."
Rachel sighed softly.
Nyxvar looked at Garion for a long moment before speaking. "You noticed it."
Garion turned toward him. "Yeah."
Nyxvar’s black-purple eyes narrowed slightly. "Most would only realize after being caught in the collapse."
Garion shrugged. "Good thing I’m not most."
Aurelion’s golden expression twitched again, but this time he did not immediately insult him.
He had seen enough.
That final explosion was not a normal aftermath. If Garion had stayed even one second longer, even his strange body might have suffered real damage.
Yet he had escaped.
Not only that, he had been the first one to notice the danger and flee, leaving the others behind to be the last ones still trying to escape.
Nyxvar finally nodded. "Your control is rough, but your instinct is excellent."
Garion grinned. "You’re good too."
Nyxvar’s eyes shifted slightly.
Coming from Garion, that somehow sounded both like praise and provocation.
Varkhor Volcanion released a slow breath. "Enough testing."
This time, none of the Dragon Gods objected.
Even Aurelion remained silent.
Garion looked around at their faces, then spread both hands. "Okay."
His grin returned fully. "I’ve shown you all how good I am."
Atlas muttered,
[You mean how insane you are.]
Garion ignored him and walked back toward the round table.
Rachel followed beside him, her pink-gold eyes still quietly watching Nyxvar.
She had not forgotten that attack.
If Garion had been even slightly slower, she would have forced her way in.
Garion pulled out his chair again and sat down as casually as before.
This time, however, no Dragon God mocked him for it.
Aurelion’s golden eyes still looked irritated, but beneath that irritation was clear caution.
Abyron’s deep blue gaze became more thoughtful.
Selkhara’s cold expression remained unreadable.
Verdroth smiled, but the curiosity in his eyes had grown sharper.
Nyxvar silently returned to his seat, still studying Garion like a rare spatial phenomenon.
Varkhor sat down last.
Volkrath stood behind him quietly, clearly relieved that nobody had died before the meeting officially began.
Garion leaned back in his chair and tapped the table once, grinning. "Let’s get this meeting started."
---
The Dragon Gods stared at Garion for several seconds.
This bastard had just returned from almost causing a void collapse, sat back down, tapped the table, and acted as if nothing unusual had happened.
Varkhor Volcanion finally released a slow breath. "Fine."
His molten eyes swept across the table. "Let the meeting begin."
Garion nodded with satisfaction. "Good."
Then he suddenly raised one hand. "By the way."
The six Dragon Gods looked at him.
Garion pointed at the table, then at all of them. "This meeting is about what?"
The hall became silent again.
Atlas slowly turned toward him.
[Garion.]
Garion looked completely innocent. "What? I’m new, you know."
Then his gaze moved toward Volkrath, who was standing behind Varkhor. "Also, why didn’t you tell me this was a dragon meeting?"
Volkrath paused.
For some reason, he looked genuinely confused. "I thought you knew."
Garion immediately pointed at himself. "Hey, hey, hey. I admit I’m a really crazy powerful guy."
Rachel’s expression became helpless.
Garion continued shamelessly, "But I’m still basically a country bumpkin, okay? How the hell would I know that the important meeting was actually six Dragon Gods sitting around a table?"
Atlas muttered,
[For once, he has a point.]
Aurelion’s eyebrow twitched. "You walked into a gathering of Dragon Gods without even knowing its purpose?"
Garion shrugged. "Volkrath said important meeting. I thought maybe war, business, alliance, secret treasure, ancient enemy, dragon tax problem, whatever."
Abyron stared at him. "Dragon tax problem?"
Garion waved one hand. "I don’t know how dragon society works."
Selkhara closed her eyes, as if maintaining her patience.
Verdroth chuckled softly. "At least he is honest."
Nyxvar remained quiet, but his gaze held faint amusement.
Varkhor rubbed his forehead.
As the one who had allowed Garion to come here, he knew this explanation was partly his responsibility. "Enough."
The hall slowly quieted.
Varkhor looked at Garion. "Since I am the one who brought you here, I will explain what this meeting is about."
Garion leaned forward slightly. "Finally."
Rachel also became more attentive.
Atlas’s tiny expression sharpened.
Varkhor’s molten gaze swept across the six Dragon Gods before landing on Garion again.
"This meeting concerns a matter that will affect not only our dragon clans, but also several High Grade Worlds and the surrounding cosmic regions."
Garion’s eyes slowly brightened.
Varkhor noticed his expression and frowned slightly.
Garion pointed at him. "War?"
The entire table went quiet.
Varkhor stared at him for a moment.
Then he said slowly, "Possibly."
