Out of nowhere, the main topic of discussion among the Demon Emperor and his court suddenly centred on a familiar name... Kassandra Mikealson.

How and why did they discuss her among all the people? And why was she a bigger priority even than other summoned heroes and heroines?... One could only shoot an arrow in the dark.

"The new Deity Summoner will become a great threat, as anticipated by our god. As if having the Warfarer Sovereign wasn’t enough, we now have another one in this timeline," said Maliketh with a concerned tone.

"Yes, my lord. We should nip it in the bud before it can fatally wound our plans. Unlike Sylvester Armstrong, she has yet to even touch the 7th-stage saint rank.

On top of it, her growth is immensely worrying," said Belphegor as he summoned a jade green spherical orb.

It was a holographic video artifact which quickly broadcasted a footage across the entire court through several translucent screens.

It was the footage of Kassandra fighting her uncle, Stronoff Mikealson. It was the moment when she summoned the Deity of Weapons and Archery, Hachiman.

It showed how, as a 3rd stage saint, she killed the number 1 swordsman of the Rakos Empire, who was also on the verge of becoming a 5th-stage saint himself.

Most of the council of Demon, including the 12 Rakshas, could only be bewildered as well as amaze after seeing her battle prowess.

"Not only did she make a contract with the 4th-strongest deity, but she also crossed the limits of the human body.

The amount of world energy she showcased during that battle..." iterated Belphegor as he stumbled in his words.

But it was none other than the Demon Emperor, whose shadowy figure spoke with a grim tone...

For a native inhabitant of Vantrea to be on par with the summoned otherworldly heroes... was a phenomenon unheard of.

"We did not interfere and only monitored her since long time, as you asked, my lord. Even the spy we sent to keep an eye on her died years ago.

Her guardians seemed to be creations of a divine ability as well.

And her current whereabouts are as elusive as the Hero of Darkness. Or perhaps, both of them are hiding together, given how they are basically betrothed to each other," elaborated Belphegor earnestly.

The Hero of Darkness also coming back in time is unknown to most of the empires even now." revealed Maliketh to his court.

Then Belpegor knelt and asked...

"So how should we finish her? She must be killed at any cost, regardless of now or later."

"Yes... Kassandra Mikealson wouldn’t live for long.

We can’t reach her the way things are. That is why... I’m using someone else’s hand to cut her down as well," responded Maliketh with a grim voice.

"I reckon the misery will strike the Martial Emperor twice as he watches his beloved dying in front of him. Since he also meddled with the original timeline, even if Hero of Time forced his hand... it is right that he suffers the consequences just like the latter." declared Maliketh with a wrathful tone.

"And we can avoid the flames of his wrath since it won’t be us to do it." he elaborated.

"Do you mean... those people? Would they really join us?" asked Belphegor.

"Join us? Never. They’re all loyal to their empires, but the one common enemy we share with them is the Hero of Darkness.

If we lend help... they might end up finishing both of the Martial Emperor and Kassandra Mikealson for us." stated the demon emperor as he clasped his fingers and spoke with a thoughtful tone...

"But the Demon God did tell me that the Martial Emperor killed all of them in the original timeline. And he is supposed to be even stronger now.

That’s why I made another arrangement."

"What kind of arrangement, my lord?" asked one of the Rakshas.

"Nothing special... I just made friends with someone very powerful." said the Demon Emperor with a sinister tone.

"Someone who also wants Argos Belmont, the Revenant Sovereign, dead," he iterated with an elated voice.

"It is truly ironic. That the people we want to see dead are also abhorred by the very people who are supposed to fight beside them. The forces that are supposed to oppose us are also willing to backstab each other just for supremacy and more power.

Even if the Khorne Empire never started any war with them all those centuries ago during the First Demon Emperor’s era... they would have always found their way to turn up against one another." he revealed another truth about the history.

For the past 3 thousand years, the allied forces of empires serving gods have always fought each other under the disguise of a great cause and collaboration.

One of the main reasons why the Demon Empire itself has survived without complete annihilation.

"With their help, we will be able to change the tide of the war and finish most of the Heroes once they get to the frontlines.

Three hundred years bided by the 8th Hero of Darkness will turn into nothing but a futile delay." spoke the Demon Emperor Maliketh.

"Send my decree to all of our forces, within the Khorne Empire and hiding in the outside world.

It is time." said the 5th Demon Emperor as he made an edict for the entire Demon Empire...
