"I’m not being sarcastic or anything; you were just asking those types of questions. Anyway, I slept well when you were driving, so I wasn’t tired much. I’m more interested in knowing if there are any plans for the future." Amilia leaned against her seat comfortably and smiled at Mira next to her.
"There were no plans, Ami, other than just praying to Mother Nature not to extinguish life on the planet,’’ Elizabeth said, chuckling.
"Elizabeth, stop your jokes. I’m serious,’’ Alimia groaned. She was already annoyed by this habit.
"I’m serious too, Ami’’ Elizabeth said innocently.
Amilia looked at her in silence, then sighed.
"Well, then let’s pray to Mother Nature together," she muttered. What else can she do anyway?
Elizabeth chuckled.
Veronica blinked a few times; she looked at her mother, then at Alice’s mother and then once again at her own mother.
They became besties or what?
She had no idea her mum was even good at making friends. Earlier, she thought she was just being polite, but look like she was wrong.
She felt as if she herself wasn’t even this close with Alice, whom she knew for more than two years, and here their mothers were acting like besties as if they had known each other for years when it was only two days since they met.
Her mother was fast in everything; she didn’t know how to feel about it- annoyed or proud?
Well, definitely annoyed. Making friends was fine, but other things were not fine at all.

Loid quietly watched their interaction, then looked out from his side of the window.
Lalica was driving fast. Under dark clouds, on a snowy road, the train shielded them from the cold wind. But he felt as if they were moving on a thin thread which could break any time, and the cost would be all those smiles.
They were brave, all of them, but he wasn’t.
And the big lizard on the building...
Big lizard on build?
Big lizard on the building!
I-it’s moving!
"Hey, guys, that thing... ’’
"I saw it, darling, and the one is in front of us, or 10.. .15? Or more," Lalica said, trying to count as they came into her view.
"Oh my goodness, now what are those things?!" Amilia stood up, placing her hands on Lalica’s seat. She glanced outside from the front glass.
"Look like lizards, Ami, big lizards,’’ Elizabeth answered her, looking ahead.
"I can see that. I told you this way is unlucky for us; look now, another problem came... "
"Ew! Lizards’’ Veronica felt disgusted. She took out her gun and pointed ahead at the closest Lizard.
The green Lizard was at least the size of the car without adding its long tail. Yellow-green, beady eyes. A disgusting tongue flicking in and out, as it quickly moving it’s lags caming toward them. The distance between them and the lizard was around 50 meters.
"I hate lizards!" Veronica shouted.
"Oh, Sweetheart!" Elizabeth snatched the gun from her hand before she fired at the glass.
"Mum! What’re you doing!" Veronica shouted again.
"Sweetheart, it wasn’t a good idea to break a glass."
Loid felt reviled, seeing Elizabeth handle her daughter. This girl is crazy.
" Let me try to kill them..." Lalica looked at the lizard, and using her telekinesis, she ripped it from the middle, from head to tail. A huge amount of blood spilled on the snow.
"Alright, they were not a problem, I guess," Lalica smiled.
"I also want this power.." Veronica complained.
Okay, I guess I’m the only normal one here. The next second, an idea came into his mind.
"Should we see how many points they give us?’’ Loid suggested, glancing at the Lizard on the side as it had jumped down from the building.
"We can try, but they were more than ten or fifteen. I can’t see them all at once. So if you go out, it would be dangerous,’’ Lalica said.
"Don’t worry about me; let me kill this one on the side and just throw away those that come closer from the front. Just don’t kill them; let me see how many points they give first."
"Fine." Lalica stopped the train,
"Can I have this gun? " He asked Elizabeth.
"Of course, sweetheart..’’ Elizabeth gave it to him.
"Thanks." He said, the first time holding a gun in his life.
"That’s mine," Veronica muttered, crossing her arms.
" Why did they stop?" Lalica said in confusion.
What?
Outside, every lizard stopped. Earlier, they were running toward them as they saw their favorite dish, now frozen on the spot, like statues. Loid looked at the side lizard; it was also stopped.
"Now, to what do those things react?" Loid thought out loud. They sure had weaknesses, like zombies only react to sound and giant monsters to light.
"Maybe they react after seeing something moving," Emmy said from behind, standing next to her seat, with two girls looking outside.
Barbara and Gwen also got away from the window, stood carring Lily and Mikey in their arms protectively.
Barbara’s heartbeat was raising at abnormal level; her legs were shaking, but still she was trying to hide from anyone noticing it and listen to what they were talking about.
Gwen was handling little better than her, though she was also worried, but she saw how they handled that giant monster yesterday and also saw a as that the Lizard magically split into two parts. So they would be fine
.
"Well, if that’s true, then it’s good; they won’t attack the train, and hunting them would also be easy,’’ Loid said, thinking about Emmy’s guess.
"Can anyone bring me a spear from the storeroom...’’ He lost an axe yesterday; he dropped it when he picked the Lalica, then totally forgot about the axe.
"I.."
"I will bring you,"
Amilia moved before Mira.
"Ami, what’re you doing?" Elizabeth turned around after seeing the front mirror; Amilia got into it on her four, crawling like a baby toward the second carriage.
"What? What am I doing?" Amilia stopped moving and looked toward Elizabeth. " I’m doing this so Lizard don’t see my movement through the glass."
"T-that’s so smart of you. Go, go, I’m sorry. "
Alimia started moving again.
"Sweety, don’t look at her ass. It’s bad manners", Elizabeth said to Loid.
"What..I wasn’t looking..."
"Shut your mouth, mum! And your dirty jokes," Veronica snapped at her mother. Her mother was loud enough that she wanted her to hear. She was messing with her, not that boy.
"Why are you getting angry, sweetheart?"
"You know why?"
"Alright, alright, I’m sorry, I won’t talk such things in front of you, thought this time I’m really not messing with you... thought you were also staring at her ass."
"Mum!.."
"Aunt, stop talking about my mother like that" Alice didn’t know why they were talking about her mother’s ass.
"Sorry, Alice dear. I just wanted to tease my sweety; you girls got hipper for no reason."
"Can you drop the topic?" Loid requested.
"Sure, Sweety, put on warm clothes before going out," Elizabeth said.
"O-oh, right."
Mira crouched down, walked to the seat where these warm clothes were, picked them up, along with Loid’s long snow boots, and moved to their seat in the same way.
" Thank you, Mira, " Loid said, taking his clothes from her
"No worries, just be careful out there.’’ Mira showed her worry.
"Don’t worry", He said and looked toward the second carriage.
Amilia also came back and brought the spear with her; in the same way she had been gone, crawling on her four, since the spear was in her hand, now crawling was a little awkward, though she looked cute.
Elizabeth giggled, looking at her.
Loid immediately moved his gaze away from Amilia, fearing getting caught while looking at her. Who knows now they gonna say he was looking at her boobs. When he wasn’t. I’m not some virgin to do a slow-grade thing.
Loid slowly put on his boots, making no big movements, but he didn’t think their eyesight would be that strong to see them moving inside the train. But nothing can be said since everything doing it’ being extra careful, so why would he spoil their fun activities?
After he was ready, he took a spear from Amilia.
Loid opened the door and stepped down from the train, shutting the door behind him,
A very familiar cold wind embraced him. Slowly, he started hating this cold. He didn’t wear a glove in one hand; now he felt it was a bad choice.
And a lone lizard ran toward him. So Loid stopped moving. And the lizard stopped too.
So, Emmy was right; they really react to movements. It’s like nature made a joke at every living or dead thing here.
But good thing for me.
He clenched the gun in his left hand. And raised his right hand, pointing the gun at the car size Lizard.
Even because of this little arm movement, the lizard moved three steps toward him.
Loid decided to try shooting first; if the lizard died, then it would be great.
"Thac!" he pulled the trigger; the gun sound was pressed becouse of the silencer.
The bullet hit the lizard in the middle of the head.
"Ketketketketket!.... " Lizard long screech echoed.
It felt pain!.
The Lizard didn’t move toward him.
"Grawl!! ’’
Loid looked at the zombies that came from the ground, moving toward the lizard after the sound.
Three Zombies.
The Lizard he shot also ran toward the zombies. Not only this one, but all the lizards moved toward the zombies.
Since the lizard he shot was close to the zombies, that lizard reached the zombies first, one by one; it swallowed them whole after pulling them with its long tongue.
damn, I can’t understand the food chain here
