High School DxD: Fox of Ill Omen

Hello All,

I wanted to create a introductory chapter for the story to clarify what the story is about as well as what to expect.

This story closely follows the High School DXD light novels while adding in a new character to Rias Gremory's peerage. The story starts after Volume 1 of the light novel. There will be alternating POVs during chapters.The added new character is the MC of the story, but will not always be the main POV used during chapters. They exist alongside Issei and Rias Gremory’s peerage without simply removing Issei as a main part of the story. The MC will slowly change the story in more and more impactful ways as it progresses, without removing the core plot. These changes will be gradual. They will slowly affect the group's dynamic, romance, combat, and plot lines more and more throughout the story. Some romance lines will stay untouched and others will change. It will be a slow build for the romance with the MC, similar to Issei's romance in the original story.

The MC starts off weak and will grow strong as the story progresses, leading to their actions having more impact on the plot. Again this will be gradual and will still follow the original plot as its core.

The MC will not end up with every female character and does not exist to “steal” girls away from Issei. His romance with girls in the peerage will still occur but change with the MC being involved with the peerage. There will be love triangle situations and each love interest will eventually end up with one person / in one harem.

This is my first attempt at writing and it mainly started as something to do as a hobby in my free time. So, if there are any issues or writing errors please let me know and I will do my best to correct them. I appreciate constructive criticism and will use it to improve the story when able.

I hope this helps anyone who is interested in reading this or would be unhappy reading it after seeing my plan for the story.

Finally, I wanted to put a warning here that there will be scenes that reference sexual abuse, trauma, graphic violence, and non-consensual acts throughout the story. I am not planning on having warnings in my chapters and felt that I can have a warning here for those who will read the story. If this is an issue I can add warnings at the top of chapters.
