[HP] - Adventure Book [Xover]
Chapter 114: Chap.112 - Rainbow (Beginning of volume 2)When Rigel came to, he was in that dark room that he had called his bedroom for 11 years.
That same warm atmosphere with its still-burning fireplace, the smell of vinegar that Kreacher used to clean the wood and the oil that he used to moisturize it afterward, the smell of old paper from the books on his shelf, the smell of coffee that Rigel liked to drink that permeated the air.
Everything was there. Rigel felt a slight change within himself, he felt his body growing a little, not due to age, but rather the effect of King Triton's Bloodline. In fact, when it was all over, even though he had grown, he felt a little smaller, his lower center of gravity making it a little harder to balance, but he quickly regained his footing.
Rigel picked up his bag, looking inside. There, some of his treasures, the things left over from his journey, his physical rewards granted for the achievements in the Adventure Book, and his faithful ship, Ragnarok inside a bottle... they were all there.
Rigel closed the bag, then looked at the Adventure Book. It never closed after Rigel arrived, instead, it was already writing a new text while Rigel was getting his bearings. The writing had only just finished when he finally paid attention to the book.
[Congratulations, Writer! You far exceeded expectations in this adventure. The legend you created will last for millennia and beyond, especially the ending. You were known by many names, but the most famous were: Devil's Son, Calypso's lover, the King of Pirates, and above all, the richest man in the world.]
[Your legend changed the world, inspired countless to wander the seas in search of your treasure, caused such a profound change that your name became taboo, songs were sung, books were written, plays were choreographed... Rigel C. Black, one name, one legend.]
[Your mission far exceeded expectations, these are your rewards:]
[Identity Card - X1 (Platinum): A card that can directly grant a plausible identity. It can be used by the Writer or others in this world or in an adventure world. Once the card is used, you can specify the general details of the identity, but they must be plausible. Once the card is used, the world itself will adjust, documents, photos, videos, etc., will be forged. People will remember this identity, and even memories will be forged accordingly.]
[The 'Identity Card' was stored in your bag.]
[Note: This does not alter blood type, physical characteristics, or anything of the sort. If you use this to pretend to be someone's child or something similar, it's best to be careful not to get caught or to create a good enough backstory.]
[World Source - Small (Fragment)]
Type: World Fragment (Order 80%/Chaos 20%)
Rank: Rainbow.
Effect: It has several uses, but its most direct use is to merge it directly with the world. In this case, the total energy of the world will increase, but it will also come into balance with the grafted world fragment. To be more direct, if a small 100% Chaos world is injected with a small 100% Order Fragment, if the overall energy is the same and barring other factors, it will become 50% Chaos and 50% Order, possibly even advancing to a medium-level energy world.
[Due to its energetic form, the World Source has been stored in the Adventure Book, you can retrieve it at any time.]
[Furthermore, Writer, I think I need to tell you that the usable energy in this world is more than 99% Chaos, although this is unnatural, probably some kind of artificial seal. As for who made it, it's up to the Writer to find out. If the Writer uses the world fragment in this world, given that it's a Fragment with 80% order, there's a small chance of breaking the seal, but the greater chance is that it will only weaken it, and a high chance of adverse effects occurring. The possibilities vary, such as space-time disturbances and energy disorder.]
Pirate King's Treasure
Type: Skill
Rank: Rainbow
Effect 1: King's Treasure -> The Writer gains a phantom storage, the storage is infinite, but the stored items must be at least Bronze Rank or similar. (Items stored in the king's treasure cannot be stolen, corrupted, or glimpsed by any entity. The items inside remain in a state of stasis, which neither affects nor is affected by the outside world without the Writer's will.)
Effect 2: Phantom Equipment -> Can keep 5 items stored in the King's Treasury in a 'Phantom' state. In this state, even without removing them from the treasury, a projection of the equipment can still be formed with all(or most) its effects. Furthermore, even without projecting the treasury, its passive effects can still be maintained, and some effects can be used without 'projecting'.
Effect 3: A Piece of the Legend -> Like the King of Pirates, your treasure isn't limited to the contents of your chest, but your legend itself. This ability allows the Writer to directly project a piece of your legend. (Proportional magical/divine cost, furthermore, the legend must be at least partially true to be projected.)
[A/N: The true Rainbow Power of Pirate King's Treasure, as you may have noticed, is effect 3. This part isn't limited to the world of POTC. As long as Rigel becomes legendary for something, he can certainly create a specific projection for it. Many readers wanted him to bring the Fountain of Youth, but I had already written what he would receive as each reward in the world of POTC at the beginning of the story, including this reward, which now, as you may remember, Rigel is known for possessing the Fountain of Youth. Of course, projecting it won't be easy, the power of the fountain would have to come from Rigel himself, or he would need to find an energy source for it, but anyway... that's for the future. Also, if you noticed, I based it on the power of a Scholar of Yore from LOTM.]
[A/N²: Also, for those who already understand, yes, Calypso will lose her divine power in the wizarding world. This isn't a nerf, I had already planned this Chaos and Order thing long before deciding that Calypso would become a FL. I can say that I based it on the Deathly Hallows. I thought, if these things are truly gifts from death or even something that wizards created with the remains of the Death, as some fanfics say, why are they so weak? Then I thought of a possible answer: Wizards, ancient magic, and a lot of madness!]
[A/N³: Regarding the first reward, the Identity Card, I didn't plan it for Calypso either, although you've probably already realized I'll be using it on her. I was thinking about future Adventure Worlds where identity would be important, and I thought this could be useful. Then, while thinking about it, I remembered Calypso's Identity problem and thought, why not? In the end, the only difference was that in my original plan this thing would only be used by Rigel within an Adventure World, but now it can also be used outside and by more people. Furthermore, only the third reward is truly the reward for a perfect completion, whether it's the Identity card or the World Source, this was given because the mission exceeded expectations. Don't think this is something common for every future Adventure World.]
