The Green Dragon is already dead, and the other one is as good as mine. Now, all that’s needed is to take some time to kill the Black Dragon, achieving the goal of eliminating three true dragons. Even if things aren’t going well, I can temporarily spare this Blue Dragon and seize the chance to retreat.

This commission only hopes that I can kill the young dragon as much as possible.

Eliminating three out of four is quite an impressive achievement.

In a flash, Gauss sorted through his thoughts.

"Boom!"

Above, the Blue Dragon’s magic, which had taken much time to prepare, had already taken shape.

Countless lightning flickered within the clouds.

Gauss squinted his eyes, sensing a trace of "Domain" within it.

The talent of true dragons is indeed formidable.

You should know that, although Gauss has crossed many levels, possessing battle strength that is not lacking among the extraordinary, his means of crossing the stages can be roughly summed up as brute force.

Essentially, he remains a "Pseudo-Extraordinary" entity, only that his pseudo-extraordinary strength is stronger than many extraordinary ones.

And this is due to Domain.

Even someone as strong as Gauss cannot leap over the bottleneck of stages, stealing this extraordinary core power.

The Blue Dragon has achieved it, although it’s unclear how. Perhaps it’s not entirely its own accomplishment, but related to its true dragon heritage, but either way, it has surpassed Gauss in Domain mastery.

Gauss couldn’t help but lament, feeling as though the heroes of the world were as numerous as fish in a river.

In just two provinces, there is such talent that surpasses him in a single domain; what about the entire Kingdom or continent?

Perhaps that’s what makes it interesting.

Gauss digested the strengthened dragon bloodline within him, temporarily stabilizing his current power.

The balance of the Dragon and Ghost Contract also shifted due to the enhanced dragon species, but fortunately, he had restored the balance.

This replenished power brought Gauss’s previously somewhat depleted state back to its peak.

So far, only about a minute has passed.

The time remaining for him is reasonably sufficient.

"Boom!!"

Dozens of Thunder Serpents shot out from the clouds, and as the sound was heard, the lightning was already descending.

Where Gauss stood transformed into a prison of lightning.

Each bolt was enough to turn most creatures into charred remains.

Gauss’s figure appeared outside the lightning prison, glancing at the arcs of electricity flowing around him. Even with his speed, these bolts of electricity could still attach themselves to his body.

"Boom!"

The next moment, the weak currents on his body seemed to attract more lightning from the sky.

Several bolts of lightning fell precisely where Gauss stood.

The lightning column engulfed Gauss’s body, and in an instant, his remnant shadow exploded.

So fast!

Among many elemental magic schools, lightning might be the fastest.

Of course, theoretically, light is faster, but in practice, most casters use lightning magic faster than light magic.

This relates to elemental attributes; lightning magic power is inherently more violent than light magic.

The dragon scales on Gauss’s arm were scorched in a small area, but within a very short time, the energy dragon scales there became reborn.

His figure flickered in the valley, but the lightning columns could always catch up to him.

"This Domain..."

Gauss also realized.

The Blue Dragon’s lightning Domain is likely related to static detection.

All creatures inevitably have their own static field, and within the Blue Dragon’s Domain, this weak electric current is magnified and used to evoke lightning.

As long as you are within the Domain, regardless of enemy movement, you will be locked onto by the rapidly moving lightning clouds above.

Coupled with the natural speed and destructive power of lightning.

This Domain is indeed formidable within the extraordinary realms.

However....

You can’t really control it, can you?

Gauss looked towards the vague dragon shadow hidden within the lightning clouds.

The Blue Dragon’s lightning magic, in conjunction with its Domain, is indeed powerful, but there’s a detail that reveals its inability to fully control this power.

That is, the Blue Dragon merely continues to unleash sky lightning at Gauss without showing any intention to assist its companions.

Regardless of the second female Green Dragon whose life force is gradually weakening within Bigby’s Hand, or the Black Dragon entangled with Hephaestus.

It seems oblivious to their plight, indifferent.

Indeed, this cannot rule out that it is selfish and unconcerned with the lives of other dragons.

But in the current situation, wouldn’t having two additional helpers to restrain him be better? They are all in the same boat.

The only explanation is that it cannot effectively control the power of the sky lightning.

To the extent that if it attempted to use the lightning Domain to help the other dragons relieve their disadvantaged positions, it might end up injuring them further due to lack of control.

Gauss’s conjecture is not without basis.

To cross stages and prematurely grasp Domain power is already unbelievable; in this scenario, some drawbacks are reasonable.

Thinking of this, he glanced towards the sky.

Ther,e thousands of lightning bolts surged within the dark clouds.

As for the Blue Dragon, it swims unharmed, like bathing in a hot spring.

Gauss’s gaze flashed with understanding.

If he guessed correctly, the seemingly most dangerous area in the lightning clouds might be the safest place.

Why can the Blue Dragon move safely within the Domain despite its inability to fully control it?

It’s because when the lightning is extraordinarily dense, it stops targeting surrounding creatures.

With this thought, Gauss’s energy dragon wings suddenly trembled.

His figure rushed into the pitch-black lightning clouds in a near-suicidal dash.

Seeing this scene, the young Blue Dragon hidden in the lightning clouds showed a momentary flash of human-like shock on its face.

It couldn’t imagine why Gauss would take such an action.

In such a short time, how did he capture his only weakness?

When did it become exposed?

Yet, within the clouds, Gauss soon felt the omnipresent locking power fade away.

The active static around him instantly calmed down.

Like a Thunder Serpent, the lightning aggressiveness around him flickered but showed no intention to attack.

Even under some mysterious force, it deliberately avoided his location.

Thus, Gauss didn’t activate the pre-prepared "Any Door."

He had made dual preparations; if his speculation had been wrong and summoned a multitude of lightning strikes, he would have relied on his defense to delay and activate Any Door to escape.

Luckily, the facts proved his speculation correct.

Within the Domain, it turned out to be absolutely safe.

In the distance, the Blue Dragon’s expression was terribly gloomy.

It had thought by demonstrating Domain power, it could restrain this mysterious enemy for a while, at least delay a few minutes, but the reality was, before it even fully unleashed, the enemy had discerned its weaknesses.

"Lightning Sphere!"

It formed a spherical lightning in its mouth, and after spitting it out, several lightning spheres quickly attacked Gauss.

"Bigby’s Hand!"

Gauss summoned another silvery giant hand, swatting the lightning spheres apart.

He sensed the magic circulating within him. Though the sky lightning inside the Domain wouldn’t attack him, it did somewhat suppress his magic flow.

He estimated his magic could only exert about seventy percent of its effects inside the Domain compared to outside.

But seventy percent?

It’s enough!

Several even larger lightning spheres gathered around the Blue Dragon, floating and spinning.

Despite gathering lightning spheres for protection, it began retreating rapidly in the opposing direction to Gauss’s location.

Gauss’s figure flickered swiftly, approaching the Blue Dragon at nearly lightning speed.

The Blue Dragon’s flight speed was immense, but Gauss’s Any Door was even faster.

"Magic Missile!"

He extended his hand, releasing countless missiles, tracing hundreds of arcs like tracer rounds, rapidly locking onto the Blue Dragon flying at top speed.

"Crack! Crack! Crack!"

The lightning spheres around the Blue Dragon shot out intercepting bolts before the Magic Missiles approached, prematurely detonating the strengthened missile-like Magic Missiles.

The endless lightning and Magic Missile glows filled the air, momentarily obstructing vision.

The Blue Dragon’s flight speed was also affected, forced to slow down.

Aside from its semi-developed Domain, the Blue Dragon itself was also a combat-ready extraordinary level entity, objectively far from being a random foe like a mere cat or dog.

Just as the Blue Dragon was wholeheartedly defending and engaging in passionate confrontation with Gauss.
