I am using hacks in cultivation world
Chapter 86: Ch 86- Pranking Mo Ran [Bonus]After dealing with the matter of his Blood Saber Intent, Mo Yuan finally relaxed a little.
At least now he had a temporary solution.
As long as he didn’t recklessly try to break through to the Manifestation Realm, he should be safe for the time being.
Sitting inside his cultivation chamber, he began planning his next steps.
’If I return to the Cultivation Tower, I should be able to reach the peak of Origin Sea Realm within a month.’
The dense Primordial Qi inside the tower, combined with his Ultimate Grade Cultivation Talent and Peak Grade Beast Blood, would make his cultivation speed extremely fast.
The only thing on his mind now was his next copied talent.
’Which talent should I copy?’
Mo Yuan rubbed his chin.
He really didn’t have many choices left in Cang Lan Base.
Most ordinary talents were already useless to him. With so many high-grade talents in his possession, there was little point in wasting a copy slot on something mediocre.
’Well, I’ll just look around.’
If he found a useful talent, he would copy it and if he didn’t he could always take a random talent before the cooldown reset again.
His Copy and Paste Talent had a fifteen-day cooldown anyway, so there was no reason to rush.
’Once I reach the peak of Origin Sea Realm, I’ll head into the wilderness.’
A smile appeared on his face.
The wilderness was full of unknown beasts. Compared to the people of Cang Lan Base, beasts had a much wider variety of talents.
There were strength talents, speed talents, elemental talents, regeneration talents, illusion talents and countless others.
Maybe there were even talents he had never heard of before.
Then another thought appeared in his mind.
’Slimes.’
Mo Yuan’s eyes lit up.
He had heard stories about slimes before. They were rare beasts that could survive almost anywhere.
’I wonder what talent a slime would have.’
The first thing that came to his mind was Devour Talent.
Many novels from his previous life had slimes with abilities related to devouring and absorbing everything around them.
’If there really is a Devour Talent in this world, then it would be ridiculously overpowered.’
The more he thought about it, the more curious he became.
Still, all of that would have to wait until later.
’First, I need to reach the peak of Origin Sea Realm.’
Mo Yuan stretched his body and looked at the clock and it was already four in the afternoon.
’Mo Ran should be coming home soon.’
A mischievous smile appeared on his face. Since he had just obtained the Illusion Talent, why not test it on someone?
’Let’s give Ran’er a surprise.’
Mo Yuan immediately activated his Illusion Talent. A few moments later, the entire living room changed.
The furniture disappeared and the walls vanished.
The room transformed into a dense forest filled with giant trees, even the lighting became darker.
Looking around, Mo Yuan nodded in satisfaction.
’Perfect.’
Then he hid himself and waited.
...
Meanwhile, Mo Ran had just finished her classes at the academy.
She was walking home with Kitty sitting comfortably on her shoulder.
The small Void Cat looked completely relaxed as its tail swayed from side to side.
"Today’s classes were boring," Mo Ran complained.
Kitty meowed in agreement and soon they reached home.
Mo Ran took out her identification card, opened the door and stepped inside.
The moment she entered, she froze.
The familiar living room was gone.
Instead, she found herself standing inside a dark forest.
Tall trees surrounded her from every direction and strange shadows moved between the branches.
A cold wind blew across her face.
Mo Ran’s eyes widened.
"W-What happened to the house?" she shouted.
Even Kitty instantly jumped off her shoulder and landed on the ground with its fur standing up.
The two of them stared at the terrifying forest in shock.
Meanwhile, hidden behind a tree, Mo Yuan was trying his hardest not to laugh.
Mo Ran was still looking around the strange forest when suddenly she heard a low hissing sound.
"Hissss..."
Her body immediately became stiff.
From between the trees, a huge snake slowly crawled out.
It was at least fifty meters long and its massive body covered the ground as it moved forward. Its cold eyes stared directly at Mo Ran and its long tongue kept flicking in and out.
Mo Ran’s face turned pale.
"Ah..."
The fear was too much for her. Her legs became weak and she collapsed onto her knees.
"Kitty!"
The Void Cat immediately jumped in front of Mo Ran.
Its small body suddenly released the aura of an Advanced Beast. The air around them became heavy as Kitty tried to intimidate the giant snake.
However, the giant snake wasn’t affected. Instead, a much stronger aura erupted from its body.
Boom!
A Peak Grade Beast aura spread through the forest.
Kitty’s expression changed.
Even though it had already reached the Advanced Beast Realm, there was still a huge difference between it and a Peak Grade Beast.
Mo Ran’s face became even paler. The giant snake opened its huge mouth, revealing rows of sharp fangs.
"Don’t!"
Mo Ran squeezed her eyes shut.
She didn’t even have the strength to run but after waiting for several seconds, nothing happened.
There was no attack.
Slowly, Mo Ran opened one eye and the giant snake was gone.
The forest was gone too and she was back inside the living room.
"What..."
Mo Ran looked around in confusion.
Then she heard loud laughter from nearby.
"Hahahaha!"
Mo Yuan was standing not far away, holding his stomach as he laughed.
Seeing her brother laughing at her, Mo Ran’s eyes immediately became watery.
"Brother!"
She clenched her fists and glared at him.
"You’re so mean!"
Then she turned around and sprinted toward her room.
"I’m not talking to you!"
Bang!
The door slammed shut.
Mo Yuan’s laughter immediately stopped then he stood there awkwardly.
’Uh... I think I went a little too far.’
He walked toward her room and knocked on the door.
"Ran’er, I’m sorry."
"I don’t want to talk to you. Go away!"
Mo Yuan sighed.
He turned around and looked at Kitty. The Void Cat was sitting nearby with its back toward him.
It even turned its head away as if it was supporting Mo Ran.
"You guys..."
Mo Yuan couldn’t help but feel helpless.
"Fine, fine. Brother was wrong."
He continued apologizing through the door for several minutes but Mo Ran refused to come out.
It took nearly half an hour before Mo Yuan finally managed to calm her down.
"Next time I’ll make the illusion less scary, okay?"
"Really?"
"Really."
Mo Ran finally opened the door, though she was still glaring at him.
"You’re not allowed to scare me like that again."
"I promise."
Only after getting her agreement did Mo Yuan finally relax.
He looked at the time.
’It’s getting late. I should go back to the Cultivation Tower.’
After saying goodbye to Mo Ran and reminding Kitty to stay with her, Mo Yuan left the house.
A few minutes later, his figure disappeared into the distance as he headed toward the Cultivation Tower.
He had wasted a little time playing around but now it was time to focus on cultivation again.
