I Became the Rich Second-Generation Villain
Chapter 208: Bu Feiyan’s PredicamentNaturally, Wang Haoran had no intention of agreeing too quickly. His mind turned sharply, and with a calm smile, he deflected, “I’m heading to PJ Island for vacation tomorrow.”
PJ Island—an internationally renowned tropical paradise, perfect for a relaxing getaway.
“Oh? For how long?” Ji Shuiyao asked immediately.
He shrugged nonchalantly. “No idea. Depends on my mood.”
She lowered her gaze in thought for a few seconds, then looked up, smiling sweetly. “What a coincidence. I’ve been wanting to study the marine ecological environment around there. How about we go together?”
A flicker of hesitation crossed Wang Haoran’s face. “Well…”
“Don’t worry, I won’t get in the way of your vacation,” Ji Shuiyao said, and to his quiet surprise, her usually stern expression softened into a rare trace of playful pleading. “Just bring me along, please?”
“…Fine,” Wang Haoran finally ‘relented’ with a sigh, though inwardly he was all but grinning.

Meanwhile, in the birthplace of Chopin—BL.
Bu Feiyan had just finished scouring the hotel her sister stayed in during the Glory Arts Festival, and at last, she uncovered the identity of the scumbag man she’d been hunting. Without hesitation, she checked out and headed straight for the airport, determined to return to Yan Country and make that man pay.
But on the road to the airport, she let her guard down. The taxi driver took a detour, and before she realized what was happening, she found herself on a desolate mountain road deep in the countryside.
It was a trap.
An international assassination team lay in wait, and the moment the car came to a stop, they launched a full-scale ambush.
Outnumbered and caught off guard, Bu Feiyan fought fiercely but was forced into retreat, narrowly slipping into a nearby cave for shelter.
Using the cave’s terrain to her advantage, she temporarily escaped immediate danger. But outside, the killers had already surrounded the exit, watching like wolves. Inside, the cave was a dead end—no escape route, no food, no water.
Despite the grim situation, Bu Feiyan’s resolve never wavered. Her heart chilled, but she didn’t give up. She planned to rest, conserve her strength, and then face her enemies head-on in one final battle.
Even if she died, she’d make damn sure to drag a few of them to hell with her.
—
Outside the cave.
“Heh, if we manage to kill the top-ranked female assassin—the Judge—we’ll definitely rise from fourth to third on the international assassin guild rankings,” one man chuckled darkly.
“Kill her? She’s way too pretty for that. What a waste it’d be.”
“I bet the First Female Assassin tastes damn sweet. I’m gonna take my time enjoying her…”
“Yeah yeah, we all want a turn. Let’s keep it civil. Boss goes first,” someone snickered.
The group of men guarding the entrance broke into vulgar laughter, leering as they fantasized.
But their leader didn’t join in.
He sat silently to the side, flipping through a set of photographs—the ones provided by their employer.
The images showed two corpses, both men, clearly killed in a narrow alley some days prior. Those two had been the heads of a criminal syndicate. After their deaths, the power vacuum they left behind sparked an internal struggle among the gang’s top lieutenants.
Eventually, it was agreed: whoever avenged the former leaders would claim the throne.
All parties began investigating, and they soon discovered that the killings had been carried out by none other than the infamous Lady Arbiter—Bu Feiyan.
To eliminate her, one of the contenders shelled out a staggering three hundred million and hired the Scorpion Killers, an elite assassin unit.
Now, the mission was nearly complete. The target was trapped, and victory was within reach. That payday was so close they could taste it.
But the Scorpion Killers’ team leader—an agent from Yan Nation—wasn’t about to let greed override caution. As he waited, he went over the details again, this time with a sharper eye.
One particular photo drew his attention.
It showed a shattered pistol—still clutched in the hands of one of the corpses. Embedded in the weapon’s steel casing was a jagged fragment of a broken roof tile.
He narrowed his eyes.
Judging by the depth of the fragment’s embedment, the force behind it must’ve been terrifying.
That tile had to have been flicked with a finger strike technique requiring internal energy cultivation. Based on the damage, it would’ve taken at least forty, maybe even fifty years’ worth of Internal Energy to produce that kind of destructive power.
And from their brief engagement earlier, he estimated Bu Feiyan’s cultivation to be around eighteen years—nowhere near enough.
That meant someone else had intervened.
Looking at another corpse, he noticed the man had his heart on the right side of his chest—congenital dextrocardia. Yet he bore two fatal wounds—one on the left chest, one on the throat.
That was strange.
With Bu Feiyan’s skills, one strike was all she needed. Why two?
He pieced it together.
The first blow hadn’t killed the man. He’d drawn a weapon to retaliate. But before he could fire, someone—an expert—had intervened, disarmed him, and given Bu Feiyan the opening to finish the job.
The team leader’s expression darkened.
Such a master wouldn’t show up by chance.
Clearly, this person had a close relationship with Bu Feiyan.
Killing her wouldn’t be difficult. They’d lose a few men, sure, but she was already cornered.
But afterward? The fury of a top-tier cultivator with fifty years of Internal Energy would descend on them like a storm. Someone like that was practically a land-walking god—normal firearms wouldn’t even scratch him.
Had he known Bu Feiyan had someone like that behind her, he’d never have accepted this job.
Still, during their skirmish earlier, no real injuries had been exchanged. That left room for negotiation.
“Boss, should we rush the cave?” one of the men asked impatiently. “Let’s grab the Judge, and you can have your way with her first!”
Smack!
The leader backhanded the man so hard he saw stars.
The rest of the team fell silent, confused.
Then the team leader turned to the cave entrance and shouted, “Lady Judge! There’s been a huge misunderstanding! Please don’t take it to heart—could you come out and speak with us?”
From within the cave came a cold, mocking voice. “Trying to trick me with that pathetic act? Keep dreaming.”
“We really got the wrong target!” the team leader said earnestly. “We’re here to offer sincere apologies.”
“Is that so?” Bu Feiyan sneered. “Then get on your knees and kowtow three times to this granny.”
“…Alright.” The team leader didn’t even hesitate. He turned to his men and barked, “All of you—on your knees. Apologize.”
One after another, the entire team dropped to their knees outside the cave and knocked their heads against the ground in unison.
Hidden in the shadows, Bu Feiyan caught a glimpse of the bizarre sight unfolding outside.
She froze, utterly dumbfounded.
