Clavor noticed the sparkle in his eyes and smiled, but his tone remained firm.

"But that won’t be your focus right now. At least, not yet."

Lukas blinked in confusion.

"It won’t?"

"No." His father stopped walking, positioning himself in front of his son.

"First, you’ll learn the path that I follow. The Path of the Warrior."

Instantly, Lukas focused all of his attention on his father. This was exactly the part he had wanted to hear the most. The part that had fascinated him since childhood, when he watched Clavor train in the gardens, was his sword slicing through the air with supernatural precision.

"While mages strengthen the mind..." Clavor touched his own forehead.

"...warriors strengthen the body. We use mana in a completely different way."

The man placed his hand over his chest again, where his heart beat calmly.

"We create a Mana Source. Right here, in the heart."

Lukas’ eyes widened slightly.

"A source?"

"Yes." Clavor’s voice was deep and solemn.

"It functions like a second heart. While your heart pumps blood to nourish your body, the Source pumps mana. The two work together in perfect harmony. Blood nourishes the body. Mana strengthens that body."

The boy was completely focused, every fiber of his being fixed on his father’s words.

"Mana flows through the muscles, making them stronger and more resilient. It flows through the bones, making them denser and less likely to break. It flows through the organs, increasing their efficiency and capacity. It flows through the tendons and ligaments, improving flexibility and reducing the risk of injury."

Clavor paused, looking at his own hands.

"It also sharpens the senses. Your vision becomes clearer, capable of seeing details even in rapid movement. Your hearing picks up sounds that others cannot hear. Your reflexes become faster, almost instinctive. Every part of the body receives this enhancement."

Lukas finally began to understand why his father possessed such overwhelming physical strength. Why he could cut down entire trees with a single sword strike. Why he could face monsters that would make any ordinary man flee in terror.

"But..." Clavor deliberately emphasized the word, raising a finger into the air.

"...not just anyone can form a Mana Source. Before that, you must have a body strong enough."

Lukas frowned slightly.

"Why? Wouldn’t it be easier to form the Source first and then use mana to strengthen the body afterward?"

"Good question." Clavor smiled, pleased by his son’s reasoning.

"But that’s not how the process works. During the formation of the Mana Source, the heart is placed under tremendous pressure. Imagine trying to force a river into a tiny stream. The stream would overflow, flooding its banks. The same thing would happen to your heart."

His father’s expression became more serious.

"A weak body simply cannot withstand that process. The Source tries to establish itself, but the heart lacks the strength to handle the new energy. The result can be extremely severe."

Clavor kept his voice calm, but his words carried weight.

"Permanent damage to the heart. Internal injuries that never fully heal. Or..." He paused meaningfully.

"...death. I’ve seen it happen. Impatient youths who tried to rush the process. They didn’t survive."

Lukas felt a chill run down his spine. This was far more dangerous than he had imagined. He had expected the training to be difficult, yes, but he had never considered that it could be fatal.

Even so...

He wasn’t afraid.

He trusted his father completely. If Clavor said it wasn’t the right time yet, then it truly wasn’t. His father would never place him in unnecessary danger.

"Don’t worry." Clavor noticed his expression, perhaps reading his thoughts or simply knowing his son well enough.

"I will never allow you to attempt to form your Source before the proper time. You must be ready before taking that step. And I’ll be here to make sure that happens."

Lukas nodded immediately, trust shining in his eyes.

"I trust you, Father."

The man smiled, satisfied.

"That’s why our first objective will be to strengthen your body. Muscles, bones, endurance, balance, coordination, reflexes. You’ll build a solid foundation, like a house built on rock instead of sand. Only when your physique is ready, when your heart is strong enough to withstand the pressure, will we form your Mana Source."

Lukas took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the fresh morning air.

So this was only the beginning.

There was still a long road ahead before he could truly be called a warrior. Days, weeks, and months of grueling training. Sweat, exhaustion, frustration. Perhaps even tears.

But he wouldn’t give up.

Even so, his heart was filled with anticipation. The promise of what lay ahead burned inside him like a flame.

"When I finally manage to form that Source..." He hesitated for a moment, savoring the words.

"Does that mean I’ll finally step onto the Path of the Warrior?"

Clavor smiled, a smile filled with pride and affection.

"From that moment on, you’ll no longer be just a child in training. You’ll become a true Warrior. Someone capable of facing the dangers of the world. Someone strong enough to protect those they love. Someone who can make a difference."

Lukas’ violet eyes shone with determination. The flame within him grew stronger, becoming an unshakable conviction.

He slowly clenched his hands into fists, feeling the strength of his own resolve.

He was ready.

It didn’t matter how long it took. It didn’t matter how hard he had to train. It didn’t matter how many times he fell, how many times he failed, or how many times his body screamed for rest.

He would keep going. He would grow stronger every single day. He would walk that path.

And he would become strong enough to achieve every one of his goals.

Clavor looked at his son’s expression and felt proud.

"Well..." Clavor clapped his hands, breaking the solemn moment. "...that’s enough theory for today. Get up."

Lukas obeyed immediately, springing to his feet with renewed energy.

"Let’s take a walk through the forest." The man smiled.

"I’ll show you a few basics. Then tomorrow, we’ll begin the real training."

The boy couldn’t hold back a wide grin.

"Yes, Father!"

The two walked together, father and son, toward the heart of the forest, while sunlight danced between the leaves above them.

The path to becoming strong had only just begun. And Lukas couldn’t have been happier.
