"Each part of the body has its own peculiarities. The legs require patience. The arms require precision. The head..." He paused meaningfully.

"The head requires both."

Lukas took a deep breath, feeling the weight of those words.

The more he learned, the more he realized that mana cultivation was far from simply absorbing energy and storing it. It was an art, a discipline that demanded years of practice. Every stage required absolute precision, and every mistake carried consequences that could last a lifetime.

When they arrived in front of the manor, its dark wooden doors rising against the night sky, Clavor turned toward his son, his expression serious.

"The head will be last."

Lukas immediately became more serious, his expression hardening. He remembered the warnings in the manual perfectly, the pages he had read so carefully.

His father noticed his expression.

"The manual already explained the reasons."

"Yes." Lukas nodded, his voice steady. The head contained some of the body’s most sensitive channels, connections that affected vision, hearing, balance, and consciousness itself.

Any instability could cause intense pain, temporary loss of the senses, or even more serious, permanent damage. That was why it was left until the very end, when the warrior had already developed enough control to guide mana with absolute precision.

Clavor smiled faintly, the first smile Lukas had seen from him that night.

"But from what I saw today... I believe you’ll succeed."

Lukas felt his heart race, a wave of emotion flowing through his body. Receiving praise from that man was relatively rare, something he valued more than anything else. Especially praise so direct, so full of confidence.

"I’ll do my best." His voice was firm, filled with determination.

"I know." Clavor placed a hand on his shoulder for a brief moment, a gesture of encouragement.

"You always do."

The two of them entered the manor, their silhouettes disappearing through the doorway.

That night, Lukas fell asleep faster than ever before, his body and mind finally surrendering to rest.

...

The following night, exactly as Clavor had predicted, the process became more natural.

The experience he had gained from the first connection made all the difference. Lukas already understood how mana reacted, where it usually encountered resistance, and how he needed to guide it without using excessive force.

His body also seemed more receptive, as though the newly formed channels were teaching the rest of his body to accept mana.

He visualized the small moon within his chest once again, its silvery light shining in his consciousness. Then he mentally traced a new path, a line of light extending from the Source toward his right leg.

The flow began far more easily than it had the previous night. The particles passed through his chest and abdomen with almost no hesitation, as though they remembered the way.

The greatest resistance appeared once again around his hip, but this time Lukas immediately recognized the sensation, that invisible wall, that barrier which seemed impossible to overcome.

Instead of forcing it, instead of trying to break through with brute strength, he simply continued feeding the flow with patience, trusting the process. Inhale. Guide. Exhale. Particle by particle, the current grew stronger.

Little by little, the barrier disappeared, worn down by persistence. The mana flowed down his thigh, knee, calf, and ankle. Forty-five minutes later, it completed its first circuit, the flow returning to the Lunar Source in one complete cycle.

When he opened his eyes, a new channel had stabilized, just as clean and steady as the first. Now both of his legs were connected to the Lunar Source.

Clavor merely nodded, clearly satisfied.

"Very good."

There was no need for lengthy praise. The results spoke for themselves, more eloquently than any words could.

"Tomorrow we’ll begin with the arms." Clavor’s voice was calm, but Lukas could detect a trace of anticipation.

Lukas looked down at his own legs, his eyes traveling over the limbs that were now connected to his Source. Even without truly reinforcing them, he could feel two small invisible rivers flowing through them, a constant, gentle current.

The sensation was strange... yet incredibly pleasant, as though something that had always been asleep had finally awakened.

For the first time, he felt that his entire body was slowly beginning to awaken to a new level of existence.

And that was only the second stage of a much greater path.

...

The following days would bring Lukas even closer to the true power of a warrior.

The third night arrived quickly. The sun set, and the moon rose over the horizon like a promise. After an entire day of physical training alongside Clavor, running, sword strikes, sparring, and a few hours of rest in the forest with his four companions, Lukas returned to the clearing after the moon had already illuminated the sky.

The routine was beginning to feel familiar, almost comforting. He sat down in the center of the clearing, crossing his legs in his usual posture. He kept his back straight and his shoulders relaxed. His hands rested upon his knees, palms facing upward, open and receptive.

He inhaled slowly, feeling the cool night air fill his lungs. He exhaled, releasing all tension. His mind sank into complete silence, empty of thoughts, open to what was about to come.

At the center of his chest, the Lunar Source pulsed serenely, shining like a small silver moon. Its existence already felt natural to him, as though it had always been a part of his body, as though he had never lived without it.

This time, the objective was different. His left arm.

Lukas visualized a new channel emerging from the Source, a silver line extending upward. The line traveled through his chest until it reached his left shoulder, where it split into several small branches before continuing onward. From there, it slowly flowed through his arm, passing through his bicep, elbow, forearm, wrist, and finally reaching the tips of all five fingers.

Unlike the legs, the route was shorter. However, it seemed much more complex, filled with curves and connections. As he visualized the pathway, Lukas noticed numerous tiny branches emerging around his shoulder and elbow, exactly like the diagrams shown in the Lunar Connection Method.

Clavor had explained this during the afternoon while they rested between training sessions.
