Seris put her blood-covered hand into her storage space and pulled out the first sword she found.

The weapon was not even comparable to her main sword.

It had a simple gray blade, its balance was average, and she could not feel any special effect inside it, but in the current situation, even this piece of metal was better than fighting with bare hands.

She gripped the handle tightly and kept her eyes fixed on Lian’s body.

Behind that human body, the shadow of Black Silence was still changing shape. One moment, something like endless wings could be seen, and the next moment, thousands of dark mouths that seemed to have opened from different points in space.

But before she could take a step, the four remaining lines of light across the cemetery shook at the same time.

Seraphina immediately raised her head, and the color drained from her face.

[The final command has ended.]

[Suppression of the undead has been canceled.]

[Recovered power: 100%]

The four lines of light disappeared, and then the pressure changed, the entire battlefield became heavier in an instant.

The Cindari swordsman slowly raised his head, the Root Controller placed his foot on the ground, the Cindari mage gathered the gray mana around his body, and the pale Cindari clenched his fists.

And now everyone understood how important that thirty percent suppression had been.

Rindo did not even have time to give a new command, the swordsman moved, and the Awakened who was standing a few meters ahead only felt a cold wind around his neck.

Then his head was separated from his body.

Only one step and one sword movement were enough, and the headless body fell to the ground.

Rindo froze for a moment, and at that moment he understood a very simple truth, they were no longer going to hold this battle back.

They were only delaying the time of their own deaths.

But before he could say anything, the system opened another panel in front of everyone’s eyes.

[Warning.]

[The complete presence of the Calamity is incompatible with the structure of this world.]

[Time remaining until expulsion: 06:59]

One of the Awakened saw the number and let out a shocked breath, and for a moment pure hope appeared on his face.

"Only seven minutes! We just have to stay alive!" he shouted loudly and almost smiled.

"Are you stupid?" Seris answered coldly without taking her eyes off Black Silence.

The man’s smile disappeared.

Rindo only looked at the panel for a moment and very quickly understood the meaning of Seris’s words.

"Being expelled does not mean being destroyed." He said with a dark expression and raised his sword again, the expressions of not only him but all the members of their group became ugly.

If this world could not keep Black Silence inside itself, the Calamity would only be thrown out of this world.

It would not be killed or destroyed, it would only be expelled, and Black Silence itself clearly knew this.

Very thin white cracks had appeared around Lian’s body.

The space around him sometimes shook, and part of the huge shadow behind him sank into those cracks and came back out.

But there was no worry on his face, not even a little, because this was exactly what he had been waiting for.

This world was no longer worth staying in, the Primordial Root had been destroyed hundreds of years ago, and its remains, the Forgotten Tree, was now dead.

The Titan had also fallen to the ground and its huge body was already decaying, the remaining civilizations of this world were also falling apart by their own hands right now.

And these civilizations were also far too weak and worthless, at first he planned to completely destroy this world, but he felt there was no need to waste time.

If Black Silence wanted, it could still find another anchor in this world.

It did not even need to look far, the four undead who were still fighting for it were ready to offer their bodies, souls, and existence to one of the children of the "Father" without the slightest hesitation.

But why should it stay here? In the memories of the body that it now considered its own, it had seen another world.

Earth.

A world with billions of living beings, huge cities, civilizations that covered the entire world, and an unbelievable amount of energy.

And more importantly, billions of lives that contained fear, hatred, greed, jealousy, attachment, love, and anger.

Weaknesses that could slowly be taken, twisted, and turned into weapons.

For Black Silence, Earth was not just another world, it was a feast that had not even been touched yet.

And to reach it, it only had to wait less than seven more minutes.

Of course, it would be better to get rid of the annoying people before leaving.

The Cindari swordsman moved again, and the three remaining Cindari from Taverne’s forces attacked him almost at the same time.

The first brought his sword down from above, the second attacked from the side, and the third sent his long spear straight toward the target’s heart.

The swordsman only took one step and his blade moved from bottom to top, the first Cindari was cut in half at the waist and did not even have time to scream.

The next turn separated the second man’s right arm along with his sword, the man opened his mouth to scream, but the next strike passed through his throat and the sound was drowned in blood.

The third immediately stepped back, his instinct told him to run, but it was too late and the swordsman did not even move toward him, he only turned his blade slightly and a thin line appeared in the air.

A moment later, the Cindari’s chest opened from shoulder to stomach and his body fell to the ground.

Tavern looked at the scene with wide eyes full of anger, now he understood how big a difference that thirty percent suppression had made.

And it had given them the false hope that maybe they could stand against them.

"Fall back—" Tavern opened his mouth, but the swordsman moved again, one of his last soldiers, exactly the Cindari woman who was always beside him, was directly in his path.

When he saw this, he could not take it and threw himself forward without thinking, the blade entered his side and the sound of flesh being cut disappeared among the sounds of the battlefield.

Tavern’s eyes opened wider for a moment, blood came out of his mouth, but instead of stepping back, he grabbed the blade with both hands.

The sword was halfway inside his body, but he did not let the swordsman pull it out.

"Now!" he shouted with a low voice covered in blood.

Cassian and one of the nearby Awakened attacked at the same moment.

Two attacks hit the swordsman’s shoulder and chest at the same time, and the creature was pushed several meters back, but only several meters.

Tavern was still standing, or at least his body had not fallen yet.

The swordsman pulled the blade out of his side with a rough movement and blood burst out.

He could not hold on anymore and fell onto one knee.

The swordsman made a second strike, this time the blade passed from the top of his chest to the bottom of his stomach, the armor split, the flesh opened, and Tavern lost his breath.

His eyes looked into the distance for a moment.

At the dead Titan.

At the bodies of the Cindari he had brought with him.

At the world he had come to save.

But he did not look at Cindar’s corpse even once, the Founder was no longer worth even his final thought.

In the end, his body fell to the ground and did not move again.

"Tavern!" The woman, the only remaining Cindari, shouted angrily and attacked.

Three seconds later, her head was on the ground and none of the Cindari who had left Vhalaris with Tavern were alive anymore.

They had come to save their race, and in the end, they all died in the cemetery that their Founder had created hundreds of years ago.

The ground exploded in another part of the battlefield, and dozens of huge roots came out from under the ground.

Aren slammed his right foot onto the ground, a wave of mana entered the earth from the bottom of his foot, and the ground in front of him moved like water for a moment, changing the path of several roots.

But not all of them, one of the roots passed through the stomach of an Awakened, and the man stared with wide eyes at the wooden object coming out of his body.

The root lifted him several meters into the air, then suddenly moved to the side and the corpse fell onto the rocks.

Another root came out from under the feet of the second Awakened and grabbed his body from the side, two more roots wrapped around him from two directions.

The sound of bones breaking was loud and the man did not even have time to scream.

Aren clenched his teeth.

"Left side!" he warned with all his strength and slammed his foot onto the ground again.

Liana threw herself to the right without thinking, a thick root came out from the place where she had been standing a moment before.

But the Awakened behind her reacted too late, the wood went straight into his chest and its bloody tip came out from the back of his body.

Warm blood splashed across the girl’s face, she froze for a moment, only for a moment, and then the man’s body passed beside her and fell to the ground.

Liana wiped her face with the back of her hand, but the blood did not come off and only spread more.

Her eyes moved around for a moment.

A corpse.

A root.

Blood.

The people who had been standing beside them only a few minutes ago were dying one by one.

The battle that had been under their control only a few minutes ago... had now become a slaughterhouse for them and they were being killed one by one...

Not to mention the world itself, whether they could even save themselves was also a question.

"Damn..." she whispered with a shaking voice and stared at her Shadow wolf.

But at that moment, roots came out of the ground and targeted the Shadow wolf, a root came out through the wolf and created a large hole in its stomach.

"Nooooo!" All of Liana’s rational control broke apart when she saw that scene and she rushed toward her summon to hug it and save it.

"Focus!" Aren shouted angrily and raised a wall of earth in front of the girl with his foot.

Three roots crashed into the wall and the stone cracked.

He took a heavy breath, his mana was almost gone and it was unlikely that he could continue fighting for much longer, but he still did not step back.

A massacre had begun.
