I Can Give Talents

Chapter 570 - Monstrous Talent

Chapter 570: Chapter 570 - Monstrous Talent

"He?" Kajol was momentarily at a loss for words. The sight before her had shocked her as well.

When they told her that Leyvi practiced Spiritual Cultivation, she had assumed he was similar to her, merely dabbling out of curiosity. Who would have thought that his Spiritual Touch power completely eclipsed everyone here? He was clearly extremely talented.

"...His name is Leyvi. I just met him today, so I don’t know much about him," she finally replied.

"Leyvi?" Gwen repeated the name. It wasn’t just her. All the others echoed it as well, glancing at each other in surprise.

"Have you guys heard of him?" Kajol asked after noticing their reactions.

"We actually have," Gwen answered. "After returning from the Mystic Realm, Young Lady Barbara kept mentioning that she has a lover named Leyvi. She would always brag to us that he possesses the best Spiritual Cultivation talent she had ever seen."

"We all thought she was bluffing this whole time," another one added. "Don’t tell me it’s actually true? Is he the Leyvi she was talking about?"

Kajol blinked. So they really were serious when they said they were going to propose to Barbara soon. In her heart, she had still somewhat doubted it, but everything was confirmed just now.

"Everyone, what Barbara said is completely true," Anda spoke up proudly. "In fact, she’s already like a sister to me. We get along very well. Since she fell in love with my husband, and he likes her too, there’s no reason not to proceed with the marriage."

The Spiritual Cultivators looked at each other again. Their thoughts were the same as Kajol’s earlier. How can it be that simple?

"Two months later, we are going to propose to her on my husband’s behalf after attending Barcas’ wedding," Anda said, ignoring their obvious doubts. A mischievous smile formed on her face. "Why don’t we all go to the Buchanan Family together?"

Since they were all familiar with Barbara, why not bring them along as part of the proposal entourage? The more the merrier, after all.

"Young Master Barcas’ wedding? We heard about that," Gwen replied. "But aside from our status as the first generation of Spiritual Cultivators, most of us don’t have any background. I don’t think we can attend it."

Anda smiled and glanced at Layla. Layla nodded slightly and stepped forward.

"Young Lady Barbara has sent a wedding invitation to our Leyan Family," Layla explained calmly. "We can bring up to 50 people with us to the wedding. Not including the babies, the Leyan Family only brought 18 people, meaning we still have 32 free slots. You can join us as part of our proposal entourage."

At the same time, Anda took out the invitation and showed it to them.

"A golden invitation from the Buchanan Family! It’s real!" they exclaimed.

A golden invitation meant they were considered very important guests by the host, not something given out casually. The fact that the Leyan Family received one showed just how highly they were regarded by the Buchanan Family.

"How about it? Want to join us as our entourage? It will be fun," Anda asked again with an inviting smile.

The group of Spiritual Cultivators looked at each other.

"Yes! Yes! I’m in!" One of them raised his hand excitedly.

"Me too!"

"Me three!"

"Haha! Let’s all go!"

Eventually, all 27 of them decided to join for the fun of it.

This was the wedding of one of the most prominent families in the entire region. Even across the continent, the Buchanan Family belonged to the top tier. Normally, they would never have the chance to attend an event like this. Now that someone had invited them, how could they possibly miss it?

They began discussing excitedly among themselves. The men talked about how they should smooth talk the attending Young Ladies, while the women discussed how they might attract the Young Masters.

At the corner, Leyvi who had finished testing the goggle device was dumbfounded to see what just happened.

What happened to being shocked by my powerful showcase? They moved on so fast.

He had just displayed a Spiritual Touch far beyond anything they could achieve, yet they were already busy talking about romance and social opportunities at the wedding.

Truly, young people were young people.

After the excitement died down, the group of Spiritual Cultivators gradually turned their attention back to Leyvi. Curious about his capabilities, they began asking him questions about Spiritual Cultivation. In return, Leyvi also asked them many questions.

Through the discussion, Leyvi discovered that although the content of their Spiritual Cultivation manuals was largely identical to the one he had received from Dastan, the Cloud Continent version had been reorganized into a far more systematic curriculum.

It wasn’t necessarily designed to help cultivators progress faster, but rather to improve practicality and survivability.

The manual from Dastan listed various abilities and methods without recommending a learning order. Here, however, extensive research had already been conducted to determine which abilities should be prioritized.

The first recommendation was surprisingly not offense, but defense.

Sense Blocker was considered one of the most important foundational abilities.

Since Pure Spiritual Cultivators were naturally sensitive to the spiritual senses of others, mastering Sense Blocker allowed them to function normally without constantly being distracted by surrounding spiritual activity.

Leyvi also confirmed another suspicion he had.

The physical body was the greatest weakness of a Pure Spiritual Cultivator.

Spiritual Cultivation provided only minimal physical enhancement directly. Although practitioners could temporarily remove the brain’s natural limiters and force their bodies to exert tremendous strength, doing so carried significant risks.

After all, the limiter existed for a reason.

The body itself still had physical limits. Exceeding them could easily result in torn muscles, shattered bones, and permanent injuries.

Because of this, most Pure Spiritual Cultivators avoided relying on such methods unless they had no other choice.

However, it was not that they were incapable of possessing strong bodies and engaging in physical combat. In fact, they absolutely could. They could train their mental power and their physical body at the same time.

And that was done by utilizing Spiritual Pressure.

They could envelop themselves in intense pressure, simulating extreme gravity. Any activity performed under this self-imposed gravitational force would strengthen their bodies. For example, simply standing, walking, or lifting objects would become exponentially more difficult, forcing the muscles, bones, and tissues to adapt and grow stronger over time.

They could also project their spiritual pressure inward, acting like an invisible press on their own frame. Instead of tearing muscle fibers to make them grow larger, the crushing spiritual pressure would force the existing physical cells, bones, and tissues to pack tighter together, becoming denser and stronger this way.

That said, this was still mostly a theoretical training method for now. Why? Because the precondition to start this special body training was to first have strong and lasting mental power.

As of now, none of them had reached that level yet. Either their mental power was not strong enough, their mental stamina was insufficient, or both.

However, that was not the case for Leyvi. He realized that he could absolutely do this kind of Spiritual Cultivation body training.

He even slapped his forehead in mild shame for not realizing it sooner. It was not that he had never done something similar before. The fact that he had instinctively done it once made it even more frustrating.

During the crisis against the rock monsters when he first arrived at the Mystic Realm, he had instinctively simulated extreme gravity on himself. He anchored his body firmly to the ground so that he would not be sucked into the powerful vacuum created by his Scary Void in the air.

It was frustrating that after that moment, the idea had never crossed his mind again. Maybe he really was as dumb as Mr. Bison sometimes.

After getting over that small moment of self-reproach, Leyvi offered to show them how the theorized methods would work in actual practice.

In front of them, Leyvi demonstrated the power of his Spiritual Pressure.

He exerted force upon himself, creating a powerful gravitational field around his body. Naturally, he subjected himself to the pressure as well, causing every movement to become heavy and difficult.

Until now, his body cultivation had been limited to tempering his body through destruction and regeneration, making himself extraordinarily tough.

But now, he had finally found a way to take it a step further.

By training under extreme gravity, he could increase not only his durability but also his strength and speed.

Originally, he had planned to search for a suitable body cultivation technique to advance his body cultivation beyond merely toughening his body.

With this discovery, however, there was no longer any need. He could simply use his own Spiritual Pressure to train himself.

Better yet, he would be training both his mental power and physical body simultaneously. The amount of time this would save was enormous.

This was especially beneficial because he intended to cultivate all three cultivation systems at once in order to reach the Dao Manifestation Realm. Any opportunity to save time was invaluable.

Thinking of this, Leyvi instinctively turned toward Ava and gave her a confident smile. The promise to surpass her through physical combat alone might be fulfilled sooner than he had expected.

Ava snorted.

She was annoyed that Leyvi seemed to think he could catch up to her so easily just because he had found a shortcut.

Yet inwardly, she couldn’t help feeling excited as well.

While Leyvi and Ava were silently flirting, the Spiritual Cultivators observing the demonstration were completely stunned.

Never in their nearly three decades of practicing Spiritual Cultivation had they witnessed Spiritual Pressure of such intensity.

They were certain that if they stepped into the pressure field surrounding Leyvi, they would be crushed to the ground instantly.

"This..."

"How is this possible?"

"Is this really Spiritual Pressure?"

The group stared at Leyvi as if he were some kind of monster.

For the first time, they truly understood why Barbara had praised his Spiritual Cultivation talent so highly.

Was this the difference between ordinary talent and monstrous talent?
