I Can Level Up Infinitely

Chapter 272: An Earth Boulder

Kamalon continued to gather energy within the gauntlets, the glow growing deeper with each second.

Crack!

The ground was failing to withstand the pressure and continued to crumble beneath him.

The dragons hovering in the air drifted back. The horde of orcs also began retreating.

Though they were far away from Kamalon, they could feel the suffocating pressure even from that distance. They could feel their hearts pounding, sweat dripping down their foreheads.

And then... The golden ape moved. It blurred from its position as a golden streak of light shot toward Logan.

Kamalon appeared before Logan and drew his right arm back like a coiled spring. And then he unleashed the power. The fist shot forward like a cannon shot. Even before the gauntlet could reach, a strong gust capable of shattering a mountain struck Logan. His hair and the corners of his clothes whipped back due to that force.

And then came the gauntlet. But just before it could slam into Logan’s chest, everyone saw Logan’s hand stir. And the next moment, they found Logan’s fingers clutching the gauntlet, the fist totally stopped in mid-air. The ground beneath Logan caved in, with spiderweb-like cracks spreading.

Everyone gasped.

"That’s... that’s a legendary weapon, and he’s a divine beast for God’s sake." One of Merrick’s men whispered in shock. "Who the hell is this monster? And where did the Flame Empire find him?"

Lilith’s eyes widened. Spade was watching everything with a goofy face.

The next moment, Logan’s free fist flashed in the air.

Booooooooooom!

Logan’s fist landed on Kamalon’s chest like an explosion.

Crack! Bones shattered as Kamalon’s chest caved in.

Blarrghhh!

Blood sprayed from his mouth as his feet left the ground.

Whooooooooosh!

His body tore through the air and shot toward the horde of orcs, a ring of condensed air trailing behind him.

"Shit!" One of the orc leaders standing at the very front panicked. "Move, everyone move." He tried to disperse everyone, but Kamalon arrived before anyone could even process.

Bam!

Bam!

Bam!

Wherever Kamalon’s body passed by, the orcs were thrown away like bowling pins. Kamalon’s body finally came to a stop after crossing more than a hundred meters deep in the horde of orcs.

The middle-aged man named Matt hurried beside Merrick. "Your Highness, we can’t let him live. Or else, not only will we fail to conquer the Flame Empire, but our own Empire will be in danger. And considering the fact that we tried to forcefully abduct Princess Lilith and harm that boy, he will surely come for our throats after dealing with Mr. Kamalon."

Merrick nodded hurriedly. "Ask everyone to attack at once. Now. And inform the palace for backup as well." Merrick looked totally horrified.

Kamalon hurried to his feet. "I am going to kill you and everyone close to you for humiliating me." He roared and waved his hand. Earth spikes erupted from the ground and shot toward Logan.

Chunks of earth rose from the ground and continued to combine, forming a huge boulder.

Before the earth spikes could even get close, lightning erupted from Logan’s body. Like raging serpents, they struck each spike, shattering them instantly.

Verham, who had already stood up and was watching the fight, froze. "That’s..." he whispered. "That’s like my lightning. But how? How can a human’s magical affinity be this strong? This is absurd."

Kamalon didn’t stop and continued to grow the boulder. At the same time, he continued to attack Logan with earth spikes. He wanted to stall Logan and finish the ultimate attack he was aiming for.

Logan stood where he was, his arms crossed over his chest. Earth spikes shot toward him one after another, only to be shattered instantly. Logan looked like destruction incarnate, obliterating anything that got close.

Meanwhile, the order to attack Logan at once was being relayed to every dragon and orc. The humans on the backs of the dragons also jumped off, brandishing their weapons. All were looking at Logan with killing intent.

Mercer arrived before Logan. "It’s bad. They are all going to attack us at once. We need to retreat."

"Is there any way to retreat? We are surrounded." Princess Lilith spoke as she, too, arrived with Spade, where Logan was standing.

"I will open a path for all of you with Dark blood. Use this chance to get out of here." Mercer said firmly.

"But what about you, Papa?" Spade asked.

Before Mercer could say anything, Merrick’s voice echoed from the distance. "You fools, you think you have a chance to leave this place? Only your corpses can leave today. And Lilith, you are going to regret making it difficult for me."

"You!" Lilith was seething with rage. If looks could kill, Merrick would have died more than a hundred times by now."

"Forget him. We will take care of him later on. First, we need to leave this place." Mercer said.

"You guys go ahead." Logan finally spoke. "I will come back after I obtain the Thunder Ghost. And..." his eyes darted toward the gauntlets in Kamalon’s hands. "And those as well."

"You may be strong, but no one can fight this many opponents at once. Let’s leave..." Before Mercer could finish, one of the dragons whistled through the air. It was charging straight at Logan. Many more dragons followed.

Rumble!

Rumble!

The ground shook as the orcs also started storming forward.

Lilith’s face paled. Mercer’s jaws tightened.

And at the same time, Kamalon was also done preparing for his attack. The gauntlets glowed brilliantly as he waved his hand.

The huge boulder hovering in the air shot toward Logan at lightning speed.

Amidst the chaos, Logan still remained nonchalant.

The dragons were whistling through the air. The orcs shook the ground. The boulder was the first to appear before Logan, ready to crush everyone underneath.

But just then, something happened.

A great sword materialized in Logan’s hand out of nowhere. Crimson symbols were etched on the blade’s surface. The moment it appeared, a suffocating aura spread. Everyone’s heart skipped a beat.

Grabbing the sword with both hands, Logan gave a downward slash.

At first, nothing.

Then...

The huge mountain-like boulder slid in half.
