After discussing various matters in the Neon Star Alliance that needed Julius’s attention, Nash went back into seclusion.
Having stabilized his realm, Nash took out a Planetary-Grade Genetic Potion.
From the Earth-Grade Genetic Potion that could only be taken by a Tier 3 Void General, to the Planetary-Grade Genetic Potion that could only be taken by a Tier 6 War Emperor.
"I wonder if this could elevate my genetic ability to Rank 3?"
Taking a genetic potion couldn’t guarantee the advancement of one’s genetic ability. Perhaps nothing would happen, or perhaps he would awaken a new genetic ability. With everything up to fate, Nash downed the potion in one gulp.
Suddenly, a mysterious energy seemed to envelop his body and soul, rearranging, rebuilding, and restructuring his form. His foundation seemed too vast; before the energy could finish the reconstruction of his body, it began to dissipate.
"Fortunately, I came prepared."
Knowing something like this would happen, Nash had prepared plenty of planetary-grade genetic potions he’d ordered from the Azure Heaven Alliance. This was not a simple genetic potion, but a level 9 potency potion.
Taking one potion after another, the evolution of his body began to rapidly increase. Feeling it was not enough, Nash even extravagantly poured the potions out to bathe in.
A single tier 6 planetary grade potion of level 9 potency only cost a trillion each. Even if he wasted a thousand, it was only 1 quadrillion.
Soon, as his body began to feel saturated, he felt his genetic ability stir and undergo a transformation.
"This feeling..."
Like a newborn creature, Nash felt everything was clear and vivid. Eagerly activating his ability, the very fabric of the universe was quickly presented before his eyes. From each thread and particle, the runic pattern that he could only see on his own body could finally be viewed across the universe.
Suddenly, unable to fully take in the scenery, the overload of information proved too much for his fragile mind, and he collapsed from the strain.
---
A while later, Nash woke up from his stupor.
"I was too careless..."
Peering through the fabric of the universe was borderline suicidal. Although what he saw was only brief, it was the very essence, building blocks, and foundation of the universe itself.
If not for his massive computational power, he might not have had enough time to clock out before his mind exploded.
"I should stick to deducing the runic pattern making up my body first."
The runic space gave him abilities far beyond his genetic ability alone. From runic symbols, runic commands, runic patterns, and even the golden runes. If he wanted, he could comprehend it all without the need for any genetic ability. However, that was simply impossible.
If the first two were still quantifiable, the latter two were simply near-infinite. Even with the time acceleration of the merit source, he didn’t think a million years would be enough for him to comprehend the runic pattern making up his body and soul, much less the golden runes he still had no idea about.
However, now that his genetic ability had advanced, it was different. His genetic ability gave him the power to see and interfere with the essence of the universe outside his body. This allowed him to create the universal runic module system that everyone could use.
Utilizing this external influence, he created the Runic Workshop, allowing others to analyze, translate, and trace each runic symbol and command. Their understanding would then feed back to him, shortening the time it took him to comprehend the world.
As long as he could optimize the Runic Workshop to include the Runic Pattern, he would have trillions upon trillions of helpers who could aid him in comprehending the essence of the universe.
Adjusting the distribution of the merit source, he pulled back half of the supply, decreasing Camilla and Elizabeth’s time acceleration from 20 to 10.
"20,000 times acceleration. This should be enough to optimize the Runic Workshop."
Operating in the runic space didn’t consume much energy, as he was merely meditating. Getting the maximum acceleration afforded by the merit source, Nash quickly began to work.
To include the runic pattern into the module, he needed to study the core structure that connected them to his genetic ability.
Soon, after he was done, he began to study the runic pattern responsible for the feedback loop connecting to his mind. This was the mechanism that allowed him to automatically comprehend what others had successfully traced. Looking at the vast amount of runic patterns, he knew it would be anything but easy.
If the process earlier was taking one simple step, the next was a marathon. This still wasn’t the entire runic pattern sequence. Otherwise, if he could comprehend everything, he might be able to transmit, extract, or copy skills that others had practiced.
With the acceleration of time, everything went smoothly. From time to time, he would come out and help Camilla and Elizabeth with their bloodline transfusion.
---
Soon, from a week to a month, to two months, and then three months, Nash was finally able to comprehend all the necessary runic patterns to optimize the Runic Workshop.
"I can finally get to the real work." Nash sighed a little tiredly, yet excitement was still in his eyes.
Three months, or over five thousand years, he had been poring over those runic patterns until he was nearly insane. This was different from books, which could still be understood. Runic patterns were an abstract representation of the universe that needed his boundless imagination to comprehend.
Getting to the optimization and restructuring of the Runic Workshop, Nash held his fatigue at bay, eager to quickly finish this comprehension device that others could help him with.
The Runic Workshop had four steps: analysis, translation, encryption, and tracing.
The analysis function was equivalent to his eyes, laying out all the runic symbols, commands, and patterns of an object. Translation would take that raw data and turn it into a readable and orderly format, then upload it to the module. Encryption was the step he added to protect the secret of his ability. Finally, tracing was the engraving part, where others could trace the pattern, unknowingly helping him comprehend the path.
As he finished the optimization and began working with the comprehension feedback, a question suddenly appeared in his mind.
"What about those foreign cosmic team alliances? How could I enlist their help?"
