Chapter 21: Chapter 20: You Shouldn’t Have Pushed Me
They never expected Jiang Zuo to be so cowardly. The moment he saw them, he leaped from the carriage and fled, and he was surprisingly fast.
But it was useless, no matter how fast he ran.
They had chosen this path precisely to prevent such an escape.
Up ahead on the trail, two figures were already blocking the way.
Their leader, Ding Yi, and Ding the Fourth.
As for Ding the Sixth, he hadn’t joined them.

"You’re... going to kill me? Come on, be reasonable. This has nothing to do with me! I sold that dog two years ago. If you want revenge, you should go find Master Liang."
Jiang Zuo felt helpless.
’A dog I sold two years ago is bringing me this much trouble? This world really is too dangerous.’
"Cut the crap! Tell us where you hide your silver taels, and we’ll give you a quick death. Otherwise, you’ll learn what it means to wish you were dead!"
Ding the Fourth snarled.
Ding Yi just stared coldly at Jiang Zuo, saying nothing more.
"It seems you won’t let me go. I can give you the silver taels, but I have one condition."
Jiang Zuo hesitated for a moment before speaking, as if having made a difficult decision.
"Let’s hear it..."
Ding Yi began to speak, but before he could finish, he saw a cold glint flash before him. A black streak shot straight for his body.

However, the instant the black streak hit his body, all of Ding Yi’s muscles tensed abruptly.

Ding Yi’s body shuddered as a sharp pain erupted in his chest.
"A Meat Martial Artist! Well, I’ll be damned. I never thought you’d be hiding this."
Ding Yi stared at Jiang Zuo, his expression a mixture of shock and fury.
’This strength... he’s definitely a Meat Martial Artist!’
’A Meat Martial Artist?’
The other four brothers finally snapped out of their shock. They stared tensely at Jiang Zuo, as if facing a formidable foe.
"Inner Chain Armor?"
Jiang Zuo frowned, his gaze fixed on Ding Yi’s chest.
’Once I knew a fight was unavoidable, I decided to use an arrowhead in a sneak attack to take out their leader, Ding Yi, first.’
’Without Ding Yi, I’d still have two arrowheads left. I could take out two more of them.’
’The last two would be much easier to handle.’
’I knew Ding Yi was a Meat Martial Artist. A surprise attack to the head with an arrowhead would be fatal, but a Meat Martial Artist has the reflexes to dodge it with a simple tilt of his head.’
That’s why Jiang Zuo had aimed for Ding Yi’s chest.

Taking a deep breath to suppress the pain in his chest, Ding Yi ordered gruffly.
"Right!"
Ding the Second acknowledged the order and charged forward. He and Ding Yi moved to attack Jiang Zuo simultaneously from the front and rear.
"Sigh."
Jiang Zuo sighed, his eyes turning cold as he looked at Ding Yi.
With a flick of his wrist, another arrowhead became a black streak, shooting toward Ding Yi’s chest.
’Again?’
’He knows I have Chain Armor and that the arrowhead can’t hurt me. Is he trying to force me to dodge so he can use some other trick to take out Ding the Second first?’
The thoughts flashed through Ding Yi’s mind as he watched.
’If I were in his shoes, that’s the only choice I’d have, too.’
’If he doesn’t take one of us out first, once we surround him, it’s a dead end.’
’In that case, I won’t dodge.’
’Getting hit will just hurt a little. It’s not a big deal.’
’The most important thing is not to give this guy an opening to attack Ding the Second.’
With that thought, Ding Yi continued to charge forward, making no attempt to dodge the arrowhead.

Clenching his fist, Jiang Zuo met Ding the Second’s incoming punch with one of his own.
BOOM!
The two fists collided.
Jiang Zuo didn’t move an inch.
But the muscles on Ding the Second’s entire arm shredded like rotten fabric under immense pressure, bursting and flying in all directions.
In an instant, his arm was stripped down to bare, white bone.
"My arm! My right arm! AAAAAAAAH..."
The next moment, Ding the Second’s horrific scream echoed through the mountains.
Ding the Fourth, who had been near Ding Yi, was the first to react. Terrified, he turned to flee.
Jiang Zuo glanced over, and with a wave of his hand, the last arrowhead shot out.
Ding the Fourth didn’t make it two steps before the arrowhead caught him from behind, piercing the back of his skull.
POP!
Ding the Fourth’s head exploded like a watermelon, splattering his brains all over the ground.
Ding the Third and Ding the Fifth, snapping out of their stupor as if waking from a nightmare, also tried to flee.
Jiang Zuo stomped his foot, and two small stones leaped up from the ground before him.
He snatched them with his right hand and flicked his wrist.
The two brothers were struck in the back of the head, one after the other, their skulls caving in instantly.
By now, Ding the Second had collapsed to the ground, bent over in agony. Jiang Zuo stepped on his neck.
CRACK!
And just like that, Ding the Second went silent.
Without Ding the Second’s screams, the entire mountain trail fell instantly silent.
It all happened in the blink of an eye.
From the moment Ding Yi ordered Ding the Second to attack to the moment Ding the Second died, no more than five seconds had passed.
"Bone Refining! Hahaha, you’re a Martial Artist at the Great Success stage of Bone Refining? Impossible! Absolutely impossible!"
In the blink of an eye, of the five brothers, only their leader, Ding Yi, remained alive.
But with a gaping hole punched through his chest by the arrowhead, his death was only a matter of time, even if Jiang Zuo did nothing more.
It was only because the Life Force of a Meat Martial Artist was exceptionally strong that Ding Yi was still clinging to life.
Staring at Jiang Zuo, Ding Yi laughed like a madman, refusing to believe what had just happened.
In just a few seconds, all five of his brothers had been wiped out.
And the one who had done all this was a man they had mistaken for an ordinary person who had never practiced martial arts.
