I'm Not Your Husband, You Evil Dragon!
Chapter 239: A Daughter’s DeterminationLocation: Yuuta Apartment
Place: Apartment Yard
Elena stood frozen for only a single moment while Yuuta’s trembling body continued leaking strands of black aura beneath the old tree. His lips barely moved, yet the broken whisper she had heard moments ago continued echoing inside her little heart.
"Save me..."
Fresh tears rolled down her cheeks as she looked at her father one more time. His body continued trembling violently while the nightmare remained completely invisible to everyone except him. Elena didn’t fully understand what was happening, but she knew one thing with absolute certainty.
Papa needed her.
She quickly wiped away the tears covering her face with both tiny hands before taking a deep, shaky breath. Although her little body continued trembling with fear, the memory inside her dragon blood had already shown her what she needed to do.
"The stone..."
She sniffled loudly before clenching her tiny fists.
"Elena has to save Papa."
She looked toward the apartment building where they lived. The image of Mama and the Human Aunty using the glowing stone to help Yuuta remained fresh inside her mind, and that small memory became the only hope she had left.
"There is no one here..."
Her tiny voice shook.
"Elena will do it."
With those words, the little dragon girl turned around and ran toward the apartment building as fast as her small legs could carry her. Every few steps she wiped away the tears blurring her vision before running even faster, afraid that if she wasted another second, her Papa would disappear forever.
She soon reached the entrance before immediately looking upward. Her crimson eyes searched the familiar building until they found the apartment she had entered hundreds of times before.
Room 305.
Third floor.
Normally, Elena loved climbing those stairs. She would happily race ahead of Yuuta while laughing, proudly announcing that she had reached the top before him. Every trip home had always been filled with laughter, tiny footsteps, and cheerful smiles.
Today...
Everything was different.
The staircase that had once been part of her daily adventure had suddenly become the path leading toward her father’s life.
Without hesitating any longer, Elena rushed toward the stairs and began climbing as quickly as she could. Her tiny feet struck each step one after another while her breathing gradually became heavier. Although climbing three floors wasn’t difficult for her dragon body, fear made every second feel unbearably slow. Her little heart pounded violently inside her chest as only one thought repeated itself over and over again.
Papa is waiting.
She reached the first floor without slowing down before immediately continuing upward. Tears continued slipping from the corners of her eyes, yet she stubbornly wiped them away with the back of her hand every few steps. She didn’t want to cry anymore.
She wanted to save Papa.
Soon she reached the second floor.
Her breathing became faster, but she refused to stop. She kept running with every ounce of strength her tiny body possessed until she finally climbed the last flight of stairs leading to the third floor.
Room 305 stood quietly before her.
Elena slowed to a stop, breathing heavily as she stared at the familiar wooden door. Countless memories flashed through her mind. This was the home where Papa cooked for her every day, where Mama sometimes argued with Papa before secretly smiling afterward, where they laughed together, ate together, and slept together.
If the stone was anywhere...
It had to be inside.
Hope slowly returned to Elena’s tear-filled eyes.
"Papa..."
She whispered while placing one tiny hand against the door.
"Wait for Elena."
Elena stretched both of her tiny hands upward before jumping toward the doorknob.
Her fingers barely managed to hook around it as her small body dangled in the air for a brief moment.
Using all of her weight, she pulled the handle downward until the lock finally clicked open. The little dragon girl immediately pushed the door with both hands, stumbling inside as the familiar apartment welcomed her once again.
For a brief moment, Elena simply stood there.
The house felt exactly the same.
The warm scent that always reminded her of Papa’s cooking still lingered in the air. The furniture remained neatly arranged, the curtains gently swayed from the evening breeze entering through the slightly opened window, and everything looked peaceful, as though nothing terrible had happened outside.
Not long ago...
This home had been filled with laughter.
Every time they returned, Yuuta would smile before opening the door for her, and Elena would happily throw both hands into the air before shouting the words he had patiently taught her.
"Welcome home!"
The memory surfaced so vividly that it almost felt real.
For just a single second, Elena expected her Papa to walk through the doorway with a gentle smile.
Instead...
Only silence greeted her.
Fresh tears gathered in her crimson eyes, but she quickly rubbed them away with both fists. Crying wouldn’t help Papa. She had promised him she would save him, and that meant she couldn’t waste any more time.
Her dragon memories continued guiding her.
She hurriedly looked around the apartment, desperately searching for the glowing stone she had seen before. She rushed into the bedroom first, looking beneath the bed before checking every nearby drawer, but nothing was there. She quickly ran back into the living room before searching beneath the table, behind the television, and inside every corner she could think of. When she still couldn’t find it, she hurried into the kitchen, climbing onto a chair just to peek across the counters before jumping back down and running toward the bathroom.
Nothing.
It wasn’t anywhere.
Elena’s breathing became heavier as panic slowly returned.
"Mr. Stone..."
She called softly while looking around the empty apartment.
"Mr. Stone..."
Her little voice trembled.
"Where are you...?"
She paused for a moment before speaking again, almost believing the stone might somehow answer her.
"Mr. Stone..."
"Please..."
"Papa needs you..."
The apartment remained completely silent.
Nobody answered.
The tears threatening to fall once again quickly filled her eyes, but Elena stubbornly wiped them away before taking several deep breaths. She couldn’t give up now. Papa was still waiting for her.
"No..."
She shook her head.
"Elena has to think."
She closed her eyes tightly before placing both tiny hands against her temples.
"Think..."
"Think..."
"Think..."
Slowly, another fragment of memory surfaced from deep within her dragon blood.
She remembered the Human Aunty kneeling beside Papa.
She remembered Mama standing nearby.
She remembered the glowing Aesthor Stone absorbing the black aura.
Then...
She remembered where she had seen it last.
Her crimson eyes instantly flew open.
"The sofa!"
Without another second of hesitation, Elena turned around and sprinted toward the living room. Her tiny footsteps echoed throughout the apartment as she hurried to the large sofa where she had fallen asleep that day. She immediately dropped onto her knees before frantically searching around it, lifting the cushions one after another while repeatedly calling out between hurried breaths.
"Mr. Stone..."
"Mr. Stone..."
"Please come out..."
Then...
Something caught her eye.
A familiar bag rested beside the sofa, partially hidden from view.
Elena’s heartbeat quickened.
She quickly crawled toward it before pulling the bag closer with both hands. As she opened it, a soft glow reflected across her tear-stained face.
Inside...
The bag was filled with Aesthor Stones.
Elena’s crimson eyes widened the moment she saw the familiar crystals inside the bag. The soft glow reflecting from the Aesthor Stones illuminated her tear-stained face, and for the first time since Yuuta had collapsed, a bright smile returned to her tiny face.
"I found it!"
"Elena found Mr. Stone!"
She immediately grabbed the edge of the heavy bag with both tiny hands and tried lifting it with all her strength, expecting to run back to Papa right away.
The bag didn’t move.
Elena blinked in confusion before tightening her grip.
"Hm?"
She pulled again, this time using even more strength.
Nothing.
The little dragon girl puffed her cheeks before planting both feet firmly against the floor. Her tiny face gradually turned bright red as she strained with every ounce of strength her little body possessed. Her arms trembled violently while she let out tiny grunts, desperately trying to lift the bag.
"Uuuu..."
"So..."
"...heavy..."
The bag barely shifted.
Elena refused to give up.
She took another deep breath before pulling with everything she had. Every muscle inside her small body strained as hard as it could until, without warning, both of her hands suddenly slipped from the fabric.
"Aah!"
She tumbled backward and landed on the wooden floor with a soft thud.
For several long seconds, Elena simply sat there rubbing her sore bottom while staring at the unmoving bag. She couldn’t understand why something that looked so ordinary could be this unbelievably heavy. What she didn’t know was that Aesthor Stones became extraordinarily dense after absorbing large quantities of aura. The more aura stored within them, the heavier they became, which was one of the reasons Fiona had left the entire bag inside the apartment instead of carrying it everywhere herself.
Elena slowly looked down at her tiny hands.
Then she looked back at the bag.
Fresh tears quietly gathered inside her crimson eyes.
"Mama..."
Her small voice trembled.
"I don’t like this..."
She hugged her knees against her chest before lowering her head, silently wiping away her tears with the back of her tiny hand. More than anything, she wanted to complain to her Mama. She wanted Erza to suddenly appear, hug her tightly, and tell her everything would be alright. She wanted someone older to solve the problem for her.
But...
Mama wasn’t here.
The apartment answered her only with silence.
Just then...
Her sensitive dragon ears twitched.
A faint whisper drifted into her ears from far outside the apartment.
"...Save me..."
The broken voice was incredibly weak, almost impossible for an ordinary human to hear.
"...Someone..."
"...save me..."
Elena’s head shot upward.
Her eyes widened.
"Papa!"
The fear inside her heart immediately overcame every other emotion. She could hear him. Even from this far away, she could hear her Papa crying for help.
"Papa needs Elena..."
She quickly wiped away every remaining tear with both hands before tightly clenching her tiny fists.
"Papa needs Elena’s help."
The little dragon girl slowly stood back up and walked toward the heavy bag once again. This time, there wasn’t even the slightest hesitation in her movements. She grabbed the edge of the bag with both hands, planted both feet firmly against the floor, and leaned her entire body backward.
"Hnnn..."
Every muscle in her tiny body strained as hard as it could.
The bag refused to move.
Elena bit her lower lip and pulled harder.
Her little arms shook violently.
Her breathing became ragged.
Tears once again rolled down her cheeks, but she ignored them completely.
"Papa..."
She cried through gritted teeth.
"Wait..."
"I’ll save you..."
With one final desperate pull, the heavy bag suddenly shifted across the wooden floor.
It moved.
Only an inch.
But it moved.
Hope immediately filled Elena’s heart.
She didn’t stop.
She pulled again.
Another inch.
Then another.
The bag slowly scraped across the floor with a heavy grinding sound as Elena dragged it toward the apartment entrance one painful step at a time. Every pull demanded every ounce of strength she possessed, yet she refused to loosen her grip. Her tiny hands had already turned red from the effort, her face remained flushed, and tears continued falling onto the floor beneath her.
This was the first true hardship Elena had ever faced.
Since the day she was born, Yuuta and Erza had protected her from everything. She had always been the carefree little dragon princess who laughed, played, and smiled without worrying about the world around her.
Today...
Fate gave her no choice.
If she wanted to save her Papa...
She had to become strong.
Even if only for today.
With trembling arms and tear-filled eyes, Elena continued dragging the impossibly heavy bag toward the apartment door, inch by inch, refusing to let go no matter how much her tiny body begged her to stop.

Location: Liebus Agency
Place: Interrogation Room
Erza quietly watched as the blood-covered formation completed its purpose. The crimson glow surrounding the floating sheet gradually faded before black flames consumed it entirely, reducing the paper to drifting ashes that scattered across the interrogation room. A faint smile slowly appeared across her face. The warning had been delivered exactly as she intended, and judging from the Demon King’s reaction, it had reached the right person.
For the first time in many years...
She felt excitement.
Deep within her heart, something long buried had quietly awakened. Ever since arriving on Earth, Erza had restrained herself over and over again, forcing herself to adapt to a peaceful life that had never suited her nature. Yet she had not been born during an age of peace. She had been raised upon battlefields, educated through endless wars, and crowned amidst the blood of countless enemies. War was not something she feared.
It was something she understood.
Beside her, Sara remained completely silent, but unlike the others inside the room, she understood the horrifying weight behind Erza’s final declaration. Fiona, Lily, and the elite agents merely heard a threat, but Sara knew it was far worse than that. Among the ancient races of Nova, the phrase "The Queen of Atlantis has drawn her blade" was not symbolic. It was a sacred declaration recorded throughout history.
Once Erza Vely Dragomir drew her blade against someone...
It would never return to its sheath until she personally severed that enemy’s head.
No negotiation.
No surrender.
No escape.
Anyone foolish enough to stand between the Dragon Queen and her prey would meet exactly the same fate.
Sara slowly lowered her gaze while countless thoughts raced through her mind. She already understood what had to be done. The moment she left this room, she would immediately contact every major organization connected to humanity. The World Council, neighboring agencies, independent hunters, allied nations—everyone had to be informed. This was no longer a simple demon incident. If humanity remained ignorant while the Queen of Atlantis and the Demon King began their war, millions of innocent people could easily be caught in the middle. Sara knew one truth better than anyone standing here.
Erza did not wage war for humanity.
Nor would she hesitate for humanity.
If an entire city stood between her and her enemy...
She would walk straight through it.
Meanwhile, the Salesman Demon remained kneeling beneath the holy chains, completely broken. Every remaining hope inside him had disappeared the moment the Gospel Call connected to the Demon King.
Judging by Allen’s terrified reaction alone, he finally understood the horrifying reality before him. The existence standing a few steps away wasn’t merely another powerful dragon. She was a monster capable of making even the Demon King lose his composure.
If Allen himself had panicked after hearing her declaration, then the demon knew there was no future left for him.
His death...
...was already decided.
Erza, however, paid no attention to the despair written across the demon’s face. Her thoughts had drifted elsewhere entirely. As she quietly observed the demon restrained before her, a forgotten detail suddenly resurfaced inside her mind. Countless fragments of memory rapidly connected one after another until her violet eyes suddenly widened ever so slightly.
She remembered how this demon had been captured.
More specifically...
She remembered what had captured him.
The Aesthor Stone.
No...
Not just any Aesthor Stone.
The one containing Yuuta’s aura.
Erza’s expression immediately changed.
She slowly turned her gaze back toward the restrained demon, her eyes narrowing as a new possibility formed inside her mind. If the stone that had subdued this Upper Blood Demon truly contained Yuuta’s aura, then perhaps that aura had affected the demon in ways no one had considered before.
"Wait..."
Her calm voice echoed throughout the silent interrogation room.
Every pair of eyes immediately turned toward her.
Erza’s violet gaze remained fixed on the demon as she took a slow step closer.
"You..."
She spoke coldly.
"You were captured by the Aesthor Stone..."
"...weren’t you?"
To be Contiuned.....
