IMPERIUM INSECTUM

Not a chapter, I'm sorry. But this is quite important. (Relax, I'm not going to cancel the story)

This is an announcement of a 1-month hiatus.

To explain the hiatus, I need to explain the creative process for how a chapter of Imperium is made, ideally over the course of 1 week. I would write and edit a single chapter and publish it. 

Whilst that may not sound hard, you have to factor in that I also work full-time. So time-wise, it's hard to fit it all in with working nearly 40 hours a week, having time for myself and then writing, fitting in the time to write a 1.5k word chapter (short) or 3k word chapter (long) is difficult, especially in the weeks I work nights (my 40-hour work week suddenly turns into 48, yipee) 

This leads to delays. Now, I know that to some the delays dont mean much, but to me it does

Which is why I'm putting the story on hiatus to build a backlog of chapters. This is also the same way eldritch sexcapades (my second story) is written. 

Having a backlog of chapters to fall back on for eldritch sexcapades has made that story a million times more relaxing to write because I don't need to worry about rushing a chapter out and fitting it around my work schedule as much; I want imperium to be the same. 

In the long term, this would mean better quality chapters more frequently and, most importantly, consistently.
