Infinite Mana: I Am The Absolute Supreme
Chapter 151: Theory about the pastAstrion remained silent for several seconds, seemingly lost in thought. Victor raised an eyebrow and looked at him with curiosity. "What happened? Did I say something wrong?"
"No." Astrion’s voice finally sounded again, but this time, there was an unusual hesitation in his tone. "I was simply considering whether I should be offended."
Victor chuckled. "So you admit it. You’re old."
"I am three Eons old," Astrion replied with dignity. "That is not old. Master, according to the standards of the Chaos Sea, three Eons is merely the beginning of maturity."
Victor shook his head and decided to stop teasing him. He turned his gaze toward the endless distance, his expression gradually becoming thoughtful as he recalled everything he had just witnessed.
He had witnessed the birth of an entire universe. He had seen the first star ignite, watched galaxies gradually take shape, and observed civilizations rise from nothing. He had even witnessed creatures whose power was enough to threaten the existence of the universe itself.
Compared to everything he had seen, his own existence suddenly seemed insignificant.
"Master, let’s have a serious conversation," Astrion suddenly said. His tone had become solemn, completely different from his previous manner.
"Oh? What is it?" Victor asked, turning his attention toward Astrion.
"Master, are you aware of the power of your subconscious form?" Astrion asked solemnly.
Victor fell silent. He knew that he possessed an extremely powerful subconscious form, but he had never been able to control it. Whenever that form awakened, his main consciousness would be suppressed, leaving him unable to interfere with its actions.
"I am aware of its presence, but I cannot control it," Victor replied softly.
"Exactly, Master." Astrion’s voice became even more serious. "That universal form of yours is practically omnipotent. Even I could sense that you were as powerful as a Chaos God, perhaps even stronger, while in that form."
Astrion paused for a moment before continuing, "That makes me wonder whether you might actually be the reincarnation of a Chaos God who perished during the Great Battle. Perhaps that is why you were reborn as such an anomaly."
Victor’s expression became serious. "Do Chaos Gods possess an infinite supply of energy?"
"I do not know whether their energy is truly infinite," Astrion replied. "However, compared to beings like us, their reserves are practically inexhaustible. As for whether that qualifies as true infinity, I cannot say."
"However, Master, you are not invulnerable. You are supreme but in you subconcious form. May I suggest something?"
"What is it?" Victor asked.
"Why don’t we use our full power to help me break through to the God King Realm?" Astrion suggested. "After that, you can learn the Law of Reincarnation. Perhaps through that law, you will be able to regain control over your previous powers."
"I know that I possess the Law of Reincarnation, but I do not understand it. It is as if my creator created me solely to preserve his understanding of the supreme laws."
Victor fell silent, his mind racing as he considered the possibility. The theory sounded absurd, yet the more he thought about it, the more pieces seemed to fit together.
Otherwise, why did he possess an infinite supply of mana? Why did he have that ultimate universal form? Why could his subconscious display power that far surpassed his current cultivation?
None of it made sense if he were simply an ordinary cultivator.
"The idea isn’t bad," Victor finally said, nodding slowly. "And it should be far easier for you to reach the God King Realm than for me to become a Cosmic Entity."
"I still have ten realms to cross before reaching the Cosmic Realm, while you only have six realms remaining before reaching the God King Realm. Besides, since that was your true peak form, reaching that level shouldn’t be as difficult for you as it would be for others."
"I will simply need to supply you with enough Chaos Essence."
Victor’s eyes narrowed slightly as a strange possibility formed in his mind.
"And if our theory is correct, I may not need to cultivate at all. Perhaps all I need to do is regain control over my true form."
"Exactly," Astrion replied.
"Then let’s finish your wedding ceremony as quickly as possible. After that, you should enter the core region and begin creating chaos essence. The Time Domain will no longer be effective against me once I reach the Cosmic God Realm, so I won’t enter."
Astrion’s voice carried absolute confidence as he continued, "If you can provide me with enough Chaos Essence, I should be able to reach my peak form within ninety years."
"Very well."
...
"Do you think Victor is in some kind of trouble?" Tiana asked worriedly. "He looked so serious when he left."
"What could possibly happen to Brother?" Noelle replied proudly. "He is invincible."
Tiana remained somewhat tense, but before she could say anything else, a figure suddenly appeared beside them. Victor smiled calmly as he looked at the two women.
"I have returned."
Only then did Tiana finally relax. A relieved smile appeared on her face as she looked at Victor.
"Have you solved your problem?" she asked.
"Yeah. It was not a big deal," Victor replied casually. "So, is the shopping done?"
"Yes, we’re done. We can meet their family tonight," Tiana answered before hesitating slightly.
"Umm, would you mind if we took your father with us as well?"
"Of course not. Dad should go with us. He is my father, after all," Victor said mildly.
Now that he had witnessed the grand timeline of the cosmos, Victor’s perspective had changed considerably. Being angry with his father, who had treated him somewhat coldly yet still provided him with food, shelter, and everything he needed to survive, suddenly seemed childish.
He still did not particularly like his father, but he no longer hated him either. Perhaps it was time to stop dwelling on the past and start looking at their relationship with a more positive attitude.
Tiana’s eyes immediately lit up.
"Thanks, son."
"No need to mention it. I’ll tell Diana that we’re meeting her family tonight," Victor replied before taking out his communication device and calling Diana.
The moment Diana heard that Victor would officially be visiting the Morningstar family to propose marriage, the entire estate was thrown into chaos.
Who was Victor?
He was the Guardian and supreme ruler of Earth. The fact that such a person was personally coming to the Morningstar family’s estate was enough to make everyone nervous and excited.
"That brat really kept his promise," Elyndros thought with a nostalgic smile.
He still remembered the young man who had once been nothing more than a rising junior. Yet now, that same young man had grown so powerful that Elyndros could no longer even sense his presence.
A complicated mixture of pride and nostalgia filled his heart.
"Prepare the greatest banquet the Morningstar family has ever hosted," Elyndros ordered.
The entire estate immediately sprang into action.
...
Meanwhile, in the core region of the universe, within the Realm of the Ancient Races, several young prodigies were gathered together.
"Did you hear? Someone contracted a beast from the Eighth Astral Realm. He has already destroyed a God Race out there."
"Really? Then let’s meet him. I really want to know if his Eighth Astral Realm beast is stronger than my Void God," a young man in a dark robe said.
He was the leader of the Ancient Dragon Race’s younger generation and had currently contracted the most powerful Astral Creature in the universe. This sole beast had made him the undisputed leader of his generation, where countless powerful prodigies existed.
The Ancient Dragon Race was one of the five Ancient Races of the universe, boasting five Immortals within its ranks. His Void God was a Universal Supreme, a semi-Immortal Realm Void Behemoth.
"Hahahaha! I want to meet him as well. He is being taken far too seriously. He even dared to order all the other God Races to meet him, or they would be destroyed just like the Heavenly Demons."
"Hmph! Among the God Races, there are three subordinate races under our Ancient Dragon Race. By saying that, he is essentially challenging all five Ancient Races as well. I think the other four races will send their representatives soon."
...
Victor got ready for the evening, wearing a dark three-piece suit with a crisp white shirt. With his tall build and powerful presence, he looked like an ancient king stepping into the modern world.
"Brother, you really look good. I am sure Sister Diana will blush really hard when she sees you," Noelle complimented with a playful smile.
Victor pinched her cheek gently. "Yeah? I hope you won’t blush when you see some random boys out there, okay? Your future partner will have to go through my verification first."
"Ouch! If you are the one doing the verification, won’t I remain unmarried my whole life? Where would I find someone who can pass your standards?" Noelle rubbed her cheek with a dejected expression.
"How can that be?" Victor smiled. "I am sure there is a valiant hero out there who would be willing to go through the end of time for your sake. Just wait for the right person."
