Infinite Rebate: I Get Richer Every Time I Spend
Chapter 273: Under ProtectionLucas looked at Gracie for a moment, then spoke.
"You need to change locations," he said. "If Durnik was willing to send people once, he can do it again. Staying here is stupid."
Gracie didn’t argue.
The fear was still sitting heavy in her chest. If Lucas hadn’t been here earlier, she didn’t even want to imagine where those men would have dragged her. The lounge still smelled like spilled alcohol and violence. Her hands weren’t fully steady yet.
"I... I can move to another Airbnb," she said quickly. "If you can take me there."
Lucas almost asked why she didn’t already have a backup place ready, then decided it wasn’t worth the extra conversation. She was shaken, useful, and currently cooperative. That was enough.
"Fine," he said. "Go get your things."
Gracie nodded and hurried back inside.
A few minutes later she came out carrying a small bag in one hand and a larger one hanging from her shoulder. Lucas was already waiting by the car. He walked around to the passenger side of the Bugatti, unlocked it, and pulled the door open for her without ceremony.
Gracie stepped in.
As she bent down to lower herself into the low seat, her clothes rode up in the back. The movement pushed the fabric high over the full curve of her ass, and for a clear second the sheer size of it was impossible to ignore.
It was massive.
Thick, heavy Latina BBL ~ the exaggerated social-media kind. Wide from the side, deep in the lower back, soft fat packed into an overdone round shape that barely looked like it belonged on a normal frame. Even that small bend made the cheeks shift and settle with weight. Soft. Dense. Built for attention.
Lucas closed the door, still looking.
What the hell was Durnik thinking?
The thought came with a dry, almost amused edge. That old bastard really believed he could handle a body like this?
With that little dick of his? If Durnik got fully hard, the thing still wouldn’t have stood a chance. Her ass alone was big enough to swallow the view before he even got close.
The poor man’s entire length would have disappeared against all that soft mass long before it reached anything important.
Lucas let out a short, quiet mock of a laugh under his breath as he walked around to the driver’s side.
"Stupid idiot," he muttered, almost to himself, before opening the door and getting in.
Lucas put the Bugatti in reverse and eased away from the curb. Once the car straightened out onto the road, he glanced sideways at Gracie.
"Where am I taking you?"
She opened her mouth, then closed it again. In all the panic, she hadn’t actually thought that far ahead. All she knew was that she could not stay in that Airbnb another night. Not after what had just happened.
"Anywhere," she said finally. "Just... somewhere comfortable. And secure."
Lucas read the uncertainty in her voice immediately. She had no real plan. For a brief second, the idea of taking her back to his place crossed his mind ~ then he dismissed it just as fast. Mia, Daisy, and Debbie already hated her.
Bringing the woman who had publicly attacked Switch into their space would create a different kind of problem he didn’t feel like managing at all.
The hotel was cleaner.
Bellagio Grand.
It was secure, controlled, and full of staff who answered to him. Durnik had been there before, yes, but with the right instructions that wouldn’t matter.
Lucas made the decision without sharing the reasoning.
"Alright," he said, and pressed down on the accelerator.
The Bugatti surged forward, smooth and aggressive at the same time, cutting through the city toward the hotel district.
Outside the windows, the streets gradually shifted from the polished short-stay area around the Airbnb into the brighter, denser stretch of high-end towers and glass fronts.
Gracie sat quietly in the passenger seat, one hand resting on the larger bag at her feet, still stealing the occasional glance at him like she was trying to piece together exactly what kind of man she had gotten involved with.
Before they reached the final approach to Bellagio Grand, Lucas took out his phone and called Connie Blue.
"I’m on my way," he said. "I’m bringing a guest. Prepare a room and meet us at the entrance."
That was all.
By the time the Bugatti rolled up to the front of the hotel, Connie was already waiting under the canopy lights. She had been expecting him for a while now. The last time Lucas showed up at Bellagio Grand, it had ended in violence, and since then he had barely involved himself with the place. Seeing his car pull in again was enough to put her on edge and on alert at the same time.
Lucas stepped out first.
Connie didn’t hesitate. She walked straight up and pulled him into a hug that lasted a little longer than a normal greeting, her arms tight around him like she was confirming he was actually there.
Gracie remained standing a few steps away with her bags, watching the exchange in silence. The familiarity in the way Connie held onto him was hard to miss. For a moment she wondered if there was something more between them, then forced the thought aside. It wasn’t her business.
Then Connie spoke.
"Chairman," she said as she finally pulled back, "it’s been a long time."
That single word locked Gracie’s attention in place.
Chairman?
Her eyes moved from Connie to Lucas and back again. The hotel. The staff. The way the entrance seemed to quietly reorganize itself around his arrival. The meaning settled in quickly. Bellagio Grand wasn’t just a place he used. It was his.
Lucas turned slightly and gestured between them.
"This is Gracie," he said. "She’s under protection for now."
Connie’s gaze flicked to Gracie with clear recognition. Of course she knew her. Anyone who had been online earlier that day would. The livestream had been loud enough. Still, she kept her expression professional.
"I understand."
"Maximum security," Lucas added. "No outside contact she doesn’t approve. No one gets near her floor without clearance."
Connie nodded once. "I’ll handle it."
Lucas looked back at Gracie.
"Go with her. Settle in. I’ll tell you what comes next later."
Gracie hesitated for half a second, then followed Connie toward the entrance, still processing everything she had just heard.

Meanwhile, across the city, Tharok’s bus finally reached TikTok headquarters.
Durnik was still inside.
And the message Lucas had forced out of Tharok was about to land.
