Lucas reached toward the deck.

The moment his fingers touched the top card, Daisy stopped breathing properly. She leaned forward on her knees, hands clenched together against her thighs, eyes locked on the back of the card like she could force it to change through sheer will.

"Please," she whispered. "Please, please, please..."

Not quiet enough.

Mia turned to her at once. "Can you stop praying like that? It’s embarrassing."

Debbie scoffed, though her eyes never left Lucas’s hand. "She’s already planning the whole minute in her head."

She was.

Daisy’s mind had gone straight to the worst and best possibility at the same time. Action card. Free choice. One full minute with no restrictions. The thought alone was enough to make her restless. She could already see herself climbing onto him, taking her time, making the other two watch. The more she imagined it, the more obvious her expression became.

"You’re doing too much," Mia muttered.

"I’m not," Daisy shot back without looking away from the deck. "I’m focusing."

Lucas pinched the top card between two fingers and lifted it, but he didn’t turn it around immediately. He held it facing himself first, eyes lowering just enough to read it, face unreadable on purpose.

All three girls reacted at once.

"Turn it."

"Lucas."

"Stop dragging it out."

"You’re making it boring on purpose."

He let the complaining continue for another second, clearly enjoying himself, before rotating the card and placing it face-up on the table.

Yellow.

For a moment Daisy just stared at it.

The bright color sat there like a personal insult. All that praying, all that mental preparation, and the deck had given her the softest option on the list. Her whole face fell so fast it was almost impressive.

Mia and Debbie exploded at the same time.

"Yesssss!"

"Oh, that’s beautiful."

"God please God please," Debbie repeated in a fake sweet voice, already laughing. "Look where ’God please’ got you."

Mia covered her mouth, shoulders shaking. "She really thought she was about to get an action card."

Daisy’s ears went hot. "Whatever."

She stood up anyway.

If they wanted to laugh, fine. Yellow still meant something, and she was not about to sit there and lose the moment just because it wasn’t the exact one she wanted.

She reached under her top while walking around the table, unhooked her bra with one hand, and pulled it loose through her sleeve before tossing it aside onto the couch without ceremony.

Lucas watched her come closer, still seated, still far too relaxed for someone about to pay out a market reward.

Daisy didn’t give him time to make a joke about it. She climbed onto his lap, knees settling on either side of his thighs, and pulled her top up high enough to free her breasts completely. Soft, full, and suddenly right in front of his face.

Then she grabbed the back of his head and pulled him forward.

"Come on," she said, voice low and impatient. "Suck them."

Daisy pressed his head harder into her chest.

Lucas didn’t resist. He opened his mouth over the soft weight of her breast and sucked, slow at first, then deeper once she settled fully on his lap. Her skin was warm against his face. Every time she shifted, the full shape of her breast pushed more firmly past his lips.

The rule was only breasts sucked.

He still went further when he could.

Whenever the angle allowed it, his tongue dragged over her nipple before he sealed his mouth around it again and sucked harder. Not obvious enough for the other two to call out immediately, but clear enough that Daisy felt every pass of it. Her fingers tightened in his hair each time he did it.

"Ahh... yes," she breathed, already losing the ability to sound composed. "Suck it..."

From the couch, Mia and Debbie were watching like referees who hated the player winning.

"Thirty."

"Twenty-nine."

"Twenty-eight."

They counted out loud on purpose, voices flat and unfriendly, as if dragging the numbers into the air might speed the minute up. For them, the time moved too slowly. For Daisy, it was disappearing too fast. She rolled her hips once without meaning to and pressed his face even tighter into her chest, one hand locked at the back of his head, her thighs tense against his sides.

Lucas sucked harder.

Her nipple stiffened against his tongue. The soft flesh around it moved with every pull of his mouth. Daisy’s breathing turned uneven, her leg starting to shake where it braced against the couch.

"Twenty."

"Nineteen."

"Eighteen."

"Fuck," she whispered, almost to herself, back arching slightly as he licked across her nipple again and took it back into his mouth. "Don’t stop..."

She was just starting to sink into it properly when the countdown hit the end.

"One~"

Mia and Debbie moved at the same time.

They grabbed her arms and yanked her backward hard enough that she lost her balance and came off Lucas’s lap with a sharp, frustrated sound. Her top fell back down in the scramble. Lucas sat there still, mouth wet, expression far too calm for the chaos that immediately followed.

"Time’s up," Mia said firmly.

"You were about to start living there," Debbie added. "Move."

Daisy shoved at both of them the second she found her footing. "Was that necessary? You didn’t have to drag me like that!"

"You weren’t going to get off on your own," Mia shot back.

"I still had time!"

"You didn’t."

The argument flared fast ~ too close, too loud, all three talking over each other with the kind of heat that had nothing to do with Uno and everything to do with who had just been on Lucas’s lap. Daisy looked one second away from actually fighting for the spot she had lost. Mia refused to step back. Debbie looked ready to take either side as long as Daisy didn’t get another free second.

Lucas rubbed his thumb once across his lower lip and sighed.

So much for settling the mood.

"Enough," he said.

His voice wasn’t sharp, but it cut through cleanly enough that all three of them stopped talking at once.

"Sit down. We’re still playing."

They glared at each other for another beat before reluctantly returning to their places around the table. Daisy dropped back into her seat with her arms crossed, still visibly worked up. Mia gathered the cards with unnecessary force. Debbie muttered something under her breath about fairness and timing.

The game resumed.

If anything, it became worse.

Every useful card turned into a small argument. Every glance toward Lucas became suspicious. Daisy tried to force another opening almost immediately and got blocked by Mia. Mia nearly landed a skip on him, only for Daisy to reverse it out of spite. Debbie stayed quieter than both of them, watching the colors shift, holding her cards closer to her chest.

Lucas kept playing with the same loose calm as before, which only irritated them more because he looked like the one person not starving for control of the next market.

Daisy pushed again.

She dropped a green card hard and already had her mouth open to claim it, but Debbie was ready this time. She slapped a green reverse over it before Daisy could finish speaking.

"No," Debbie said flatly.

Daisy stared at her. "You’re blocking me on purpose."

"Yes."

Mia let out a short laugh under her breath. "At least she’s honest."

The next few turns tightened. The deck thinned. Hands got smaller. Daisy kept reaching for control and kept missing it by one card. Mia wasted a turn trying to force the color away from danger. Lucas played safe, almost politely, like he was deliberately leaving the battlefield to them.

Then Debbie found her opening.

The color landed blue. Daisy hesitated half a second too long, eyes jumping between two cards she didn’t like. Mia had already used the only answer that could have stopped it. Debbie placed her card down with neat finality and looked straight at Lucas.

Blue skip.

"Market."

Daisy’s head snapped up. "What?"

Mia stared at the card, then at Debbie, then back at the card. "You’re joking."

Debbie was already smiling, slow and satisfied. "I played it."

Lucas looked at the blue skip on the table, then at the three girls around him ~ one victorious, two already burning with fresh jealousy.

He set his remaining cards face-down, reached toward the deck, and tapped it once with two fingers.

"Alright another market."

This time Daisy was the one praying under her breath against it, while Mia watched with her jaw tight. Debbie didn’t pray at all. She just waited, eyes locked on his hand, posture already too confident for someone who hadn’t seen the card yet.

Lucas picked it up, checked it first, then turned it around.

Blue.

Debbie’s face lit up instantly.

Daisy let out a sharp, disbelieving breath. "Of course."

Mia dropped back against the couch. "Unbelievable."

Debbie was already on her feet. "One minute," she said, voice sweet only because she had won. "Don’t look so dead about it. Rules are rules."

She walked around the table toward Lucas without hesitation, clearly determined to collect before either of the other two could ruin the mood.
