He tried to lean on his sword to get back to his feet, but the excruciating pain from his shattered internal organs forced him to fall back down and kneel on one severely injured leg.

His weapon slipped from his grasp, and he was completely unable to match Aether’s level of power.

"How pitiful." Aether sneered; he was about to step over Kaeya’s helpless body without so much as a glance, and order one of the Abyss creatures to kill him.

"Fireball."

A detached yet somewhat magnetic voice rang out, uttering the name of a classic magic spell.

Fireball, as the name suggests, is a fire-elemental attack commonly used by mages. However, in Teyvat, this attack is also known as a Pyro-elemental attack!

Jean and the others didn’t just stand by, of course. They defended themselves and launched a counterattack.

Enveloped by an extremely fast spinning vortex of Anemo, Jean drew her sword and thrust it toward several Abyss Heralds.

Eiji laughed wickedly.

He tried to leap backward instantly using Abyss spatial manipulation to save himself. But it was too late.

Before Aether’s body could shift even a centimeter, the freezing aura from Shirohime’s Shikai release had already shot through the blade of his sword at lightning speed.
