Diana!!!

Diana...

The spirit of Victor’s scythe.

She blinked a few times, still looking slightly sleepy.

A soft yawn escaped her lips.

"So... I finally woke up..."

Her crimson eyes naturally searched for the first person she wished to see.

Victor.

Seeing him sitting peacefully beneath the tree, an unconscious smile appeared on her beautiful face.

"So he’s talking with his past incarnations again..."

Her voice was barely above a whisper.

She folded her hands behind her back while quietly observing him.

"I suppose I can’t blame him."

"Those people were among the mightiest beings ever to exist."

A trace of curiosity appeared in her eyes.

"I wonder what they’re talking about this time."

She looked around the clearing.

Only then did she notice the invisible spiritual barrier surrounding the area.

Although hidden from ordinary sight...

Nothing could escape the perception of a spirit weapon.

Diana slowly walked toward the edge of the domain before stopping.

"So he even prepared an alert formation."

She smiled knowingly.

"It didn’t react to me..."

"Of course."

"I was already inside his spiritual space before he activated it."

She gently touched the invisible barrier.

Soft ripples spread across its surface.

"It seems he really didn’t want anyone disturbing him."

She looked back at Victor.

Her expression gradually softened.

"Well..."

"It doesn’t matter."

"For now..."

"I’ll simply wait until he’s finished."

A gentle smile bloomed across her face.

Without making the slightest sound, Diana walked toward Victor.

She carefully sat beside him.

For several seconds...

She simply admired his peaceful expression.

Even in meditation...

His handsome face remained calm and composed.

His long black hair swayed gently with every passing breeze.

Diana unconsciously smiled wider.

"You really never stop working..."

she murmured.

After hesitating for only a brief moment...

She slowly leaned toward him.

Resting her head lightly against his shoulder, she released a quiet sigh of contentment.

There was no desire to interrupt him.

No intention of waking him.

She simply wished to remain close.

A faint blush colored her cheeks.

"So..."

"Now I know."

"You finally remember your previous selves."

Her voice was so quiet that only she herself could hear it.

"In that case..."

"I won’t leave you alone anymore..."

A warm smile spread across her face.

"My Victor..."

She closed her eyes.

Looking completely at peace, she quietly remained beside him like a little girl who had finally found the place where she belonged.

The forest returned to silence.

Only the sound of the flowing river accompanied the two.

...

Within Victor’s spiritual world...

Golden mist drifted endlessly beneath the brilliant sky.

Victor stood patiently where Azriel had left him.

Hudson quietly waited nearby.

Neither of them spoke.

Several moments later...

The surrounding spiritual energy suddenly began fluctuating.

One...

Two...

Three...

Four...

Five powerful presences descended almost simultaneously.

Five figures gradually emerged from the golden mist.

Each carried a completely different aura.

Each possessed the calm confidence of someone who had once stood at the peak of an era.

Victor silently examined them.

Although their appearances differed...

He could somehow sense an indescribable familiarity.

It felt almost like looking into different reflections of himself.

Azriel walked back toward Victor with a satisfied grin.

"There."

He spread both hands dramatically.

"I’ve gathered everyone."

He then pointed toward the first man standing nearest to Victor.

The man possessed long black hair that reached his waist.

His golden eyes were calm yet incredibly sharp.

Large white wings rested neatly behind his back.

His handsome face carried the serenity of someone who had long ago made peace with his past.

Azriel smiled.

"That’s Eddy."

"He was proclaimed the greatest Hero to have ever existed."

Victor quietly listened.

Azriel continued,

"Like you..."

"He remembered his previous incarnation after reincarnating."

"His own previous life was also that of a Hero."

"The Hero of Humanity."

"The man who nearly wiped the entire Demon Race from existence."

Victor looked toward Eddy with newfound interest.

Azriel chuckled.

"Actually..."

"Now that I think about it..."

"He’s almost your complete opposite."

He pointed toward Victor before laughing.

"But strangely enough..."

"You two are probably the most alike among all the incarnations."

Victor raised an eyebrow.

"The most alike?"

Azriel nodded.

"There’s another thing."

"If we’re talking purely about swordsmanship..."

"He stands second only to the Original Incarnation."

"He and his partner even created an entirely new sword style."

"The Moon Edge Style."

Victor couldn’t help becoming curious.

A swordsman acknowledged by Azriel himself...

That alone spoke volumes.

Eddy slowly stepped forward.

His movements were calm and composed.

Stopping before Victor, he extended his right hand with a gentle smile.

"It’s nice to meet you..."

"My current self."

Victor smiled back.

He firmly accepted the handshake.

"Likewise."

The two looked into each other’s eyes for a brief moment.

Victor could immediately feel it.

Although this man appeared gentle...

He had once carried unimaginable burdens.

After a short silence...

Victor finally voiced the question lingering in his mind.

"I just can’t help asking."

"I need to know..."

He looked directly at Eddy.

"Why did you try to wipe out all the demons?"

Eddy’s smile slowly disappeared.

For the first time...

A trace of pain appeared within his golden eyes.

He lowered his gaze slightly before letting out a quiet laugh filled with self-mockery.

"It’s a rather pathetic story."

"A simple tale of revenge."

"The kind of story you’ll find almost anywhere."

His fingers unconsciously tightened.

"My family..."

"...were killed by a group of demons during a war."

Silence filled the spiritual world.

"In retaliation..."

"I nearly annihilated every demon that existed."

Victor quietly listened without interrupting.

Eddy slowly closed his eyes.

"If I hadn’t met..."

"...the Demon Lord of that era..."

"I probably would’ve killed every last one of them."

He opened his eyes once again.

"But because of that meeting..."

"When I was reborn as Eddy..."

"I devoted my second life to saving everyone instead."

Victor nodded slowly.

"I see..."

After victor done talking with Eddy for a bit, Azriel introduced the next incarnation.
