And so, Charlie and his group walked together toward another inn room occupied by the Goddess of Justice.

The person knocking on the door was Kei.

From inside the room, Astraea's gentle voice answered warmly, "Ah, Kei? Wait a moment..."

The voice was accompanied by the rustling sound of clothing fabric being straightened out. Clearly, the Goddess had just finished changing her clothes.

Hearing that rustling, Kei suddenly cast a sharp side-eye toward Charlie beside her.

The gaze in her blue eyes seemed to issue a stern warning so that the youth would not imagine blasphemous things about the Goddess in his head.

Charlie could only offer a wry smile at receiving that glance. On the other hand, however, he felt this situation was rather strange yet refreshing, as this was a side of Kei she had never shown him until now.

Not long after, the wooden room door opened.

A figure of a beautiful goddess stood at the threshold. Astraea had long, walnut-brown hair neatly swept into a bun at the back of her head, paired with a set of deep blue eyes that were exceptionally clear, reminding anyone of an expanse of starry seas at night. She wore a simple dress combined with an elegant long skirt.

Seeing a group of five people standing lined up in front of her room made Astraea slightly surprised—especially since she had never seen the figure of the blonde-haired girl standing near Charlie before.

"What is this? Why are you all gathered in front of my room this late at night?" Astraea asked amiably with a gentle smile. "Are you planning to invite me out for a walk?"

Kei did not beat around the bush at all. She directly pointed toward Charlie and asked straight to the point.

"Astraea-sama... do you know this man? He just claimed to be my boyfriend. Very strange, isn't it? Even though I don't know him at all."

Kei, who had been listening carefully all along, looked at Astraea with an urgent tone.

"Astraea-sama... is everything this man said really genuine?"

Astraea looked at Kei and then nodded firmly. "Yes, Kei. I confirm all of Charlie's words."

"In fact, it was Charlie who first brought you to see me and helped you join the Astraea Familia. Try to remember back, Kei... what was the initial chronology when you first entered my Familia?"

Kei fell silent. She held her temple, attempting to dig through the memories inside her mind, but her facial expression turned increasingly confused before she finally shook her head.
