Mr. Xi was a bit puzzled, "Why do you insist on resolving this issue now?"

"This Water Rubik’s Cube seems more like a built-in protective layer for you. Some people would love to have it, but they don’t."

"How can you be sure it’s actually protecting me?" Xu Huo countered. He lost his "future" in one-third of the games, losing his space ability as a result. He doesn’t remember the specifics, but the unknown means risk. No one can predict what changes might occur over time, especially since it restricts his training in spatial evolution.

Mr. Xi squinted his eyes, "Being cautious in peaceful times is not wrong. Since the thing’s main purpose is to limit your use of spatial power, it presumably wasn’t made to act as a defense prop."

"To destroy something, you either attack from within or from outside. You said earlier external force would cause you great harm, but as for attacking from the internal structure, I reckon you don’t have that capability now."

"Though I can offer you a line of thought."

"You are proficient in spatial evolution, so you should know the occasional chaotic spaces in the game that can be maintained for a long period. Some talented people rely on these spaces for secondary evolution."

"I’ve entered such places more than once," Xu Huo frowned.

Mr. Xi waved his hand, "Without strong Game Government backing, you won’t get into a good evolutionary site."

"Some chaotic spaces result from original spatial conflicts, while others stem from the aftermath of battles involving people or instruments. Most of these places are unstable, and entering them carries considerable risk."

"However, some chaotic spaces controlled by the Game Government have been made relatively stable, and the Game Government has implemented risk grading for these chaotic spaces. You should understand, the higher the risk, the more chaotic the spatial power, and the deeper it goes."

"Have you seen naked-eye visible spatial polyhedrons in typical chaotic spaces? Probably not, indicating that chaotic spaces have levels."

"To understand the Water Rubik’s Cube’s barrier and its body structure in your situation, you need a proper site. What you can’t see, you can uncover with the right conditions; only then is there hope for a breakthrough."

The old man paused for a moment, patted Xu Huo’s shoulder, and said, "But don’t hold out too much hope. It’s a super instrument, after all, and letting a Rank-B player crack it easily would disgrace those researchers at Rank-A Wormhole Points."

Xu Huo had once obtained a Chaotic Space-Time Ticket but hadn’t used it. It was an entry voucher for an evolutionary site provided by the Game Government.

"Besides the sites provided by the Game Government, are there other suitable locations?" he asked.

Mr. Xi saw through his thoughts, "If the sites provided by the Game Government aren’t safe, then nowhere else will be safer. Although there are some unscrupulous people, they can at least accommodate a few geniuses."

"If you really worry, I can introduce you to a place with a good reputation. It’s better than blindly searching."

It seemed there was no better option. Xu Huo paused and asked further, "How do Space-Time Instruments manage to enclose such powerful space-time forces within props for easy use?"

Mr. Xi burst into laughter, "You’ve misunderstood. You think Space-Time Class Props and Instruments are powerful? Actually, they’re weak compared to space-time forces itself, even undeserving of their material."

"For instance, Time Stop, the common time-related item, why can a spatial artifact easily nullify it? Because the time force props borrow are scarce, even unstable, and prone to failure. This doesn’t even compare to an Evolver!"

"But super props and super instruments are different."

"Primeval Stones embody special space-time power and are inherently multidimensional. Whether top Rank-A Wormhole Points can fully understand their structure, I’m unsure, but C9 Wormhole Points certainly can’t."

"Regarding super instruments, I’m only partially knowledgeable," Mr. Xi said, "If you came to District 001 for that, you’re wasting time."

Xu Huo glanced at him, "Not exactly."

The old man scoffed, "I can live for many years; it’s not time to plan for retirement. Check back in fifty or sixty years!"

"Don’t speak too absolutely," Xu Huo reassured him, "I might find you with nowhere to go after exiting the instance, and you’ll have to move to another zone."

The old man spat a few times. At this moment, they were suddenly approached by a group of fleeing players, accompanied by large demon head masks.

"Can’t we get a moment’s rest!" The old man shouted angrily.

Xu Huo stood up to leave, unexpectedly recognizing familiar faces among those approaching. Sister Zhong was carrying a pregnant female player, followed closely by Shi Potian. Occasionally, Shi Potian would intercept head masks flying their way. The three were injured and struggling to cope until they spotted Xu Huo and the Girl in the painting. Their faces showed relief, especially since Xu Huo had helped them previously on Cultural Street!

"Save us... Save me, Brother Xu!" Shi Potian shouted while jumping, "We came on the same train, remember you helped me the night before?"

"Brother Xu! Brother Xu!"

Seeing his unrelenting demeanor, Xu Huo turned back and grabbed them effortlessly. Upon their arrival, he asked, "How did you end up in the restricted area?"

Their experience on Cultural Street should have made them avoid the restricted area more cautiously. Yet, they appeared perfectly aligned with their arrival.

"Who knew we’d have such bad luck?" Shi Potian said, glancing at a mask as it passed through a mental portal and vanished before his face with relief. He continued, "When this dungeon first upgraded, I thought of escaping to another city to avoid trouble. After all, it’s a time-limited dungeon; clearing it isn’t imperative. But now each city has a restricted area appearing. After District Government restricted movement, we had to stay put, dodging and hiding until we got trapped in the restricted area."

"Sister Mei and I are Night Tour Dungeon players, and Sister Zhong was involuntarily trapped," Shi Potian clarified willingly.

Sister Mei, the pregnant female player, was unconscious. There was no suitable place for her to rest within the restricted area. Had it not been for encountering good Samaritans, she wouldn’t have survived.

"Brother Xu, how long have you been inside? Got any clues?" Shi Potian looked hopefully at Xu Huo, "You’re not a dungeon player, right? Want me to thoroughly brief you on the dungeon’s background?"

The Collection of Information Terminal had long released "Night Tour" dungeon background content. Xu Huo simply said, "My only suggestion is to run quickly if you hear the bell and don’t stop."

No sooner had the words left his mouth than the crisp "ding" surrounded them, and a visage that wasn’t quite human rapidly enlarged in his vision!
