The player trapped by the spider lock had no choice and was directly pulled into the Mental Portal. The other three, however, were skeptical and bypassed the Mental Portal, jumping over the boundary of this area.

After crossing the boundary line, the puppet people stopped tracking them and swiftly switched to a joyful mode, including those two puppet rabbits. However, the Battle Dolls did not give up on them, surrounding them again in an instant and using the sonic instrument once more.

This time, though, the middle-aged men were prepared and immediately knocked out the instruments from the hands of several Battle Dolls. As two blasts of air opened up, several nearby puppets were also blown away. The three middle-aged men jumped in different directions, creating distance while tossing a few Space Bombs behind, finally managing to get rid of the Battle Dolls completely.

On the other side, Xu Huo brought the Yongta player to a small children’s park, removing the spider lock from his body. The space lock controlled the blast impact, and the muffled sound didn’t attract the attention of the nearby puppet people.

"So stingy," Xu Huo muttered softly.

Even the spider locks released by the Battle Dolls were equipped with explosive devices, ensuring that no one could gain any advantage.

"I know who you are now," said the middle-aged man, who had also found Xu Huo by this time, scrutinizing him. "I’d heard before that a very powerful Outer Zone player had appeared at Lian Qingkong’s funeral. You intimidated players from the other two countries... although the troublemakers at the funeral were all idiots, daring to meddle in Yu Country’s affairs means you must have some skills."

"You saved my companion. From now on, we’re friends," the middle-aged man said. "My name is Zhu Bo."

The name slightly surprised Xu Huo. Zhu Bo should be a leader of Yongta Country, yet here he was, tracking the Battle Dolls with a few players.

"I’ve heard much about you, Xu Zhi," Xu Huo replied.

The plain-looking Zhu Bo laughed heartily. "Since we’re friends, I won’t say much thanks. Are you hungry?"

As he spoke, he lifted three layers of Defensive Clothing, revealing compressed rations plastered inside, boldly declaring, "I’m buying!"

"Not for now," Xu Huo accepted the sentiment. "We might be stuck here for a while, so it’s best to conserve our resources."

Unbothered, Zhu Bo tore open a pack and stuffed it into his mouth, saying, "If there’s really nothing left to eat, we can always resort to... ’other’ means. Can’t die of hunger."

Zhu Bo’s three companions didn’t object to his words, silently eating their food.

Realizing his words were slightly inappropriate, Zhu Bo added with a chuckle, "I forgot you’re an Outer Zone player. Your home probably doesn’t lack food. You’re not a Cannibal Player, so that option doesn’t exist for you."

"Zone 039 is different. We’ve even eaten mud when times were tough. Some places only started to really have food in recent years. Cannibalism doesn’t surprise anyone."

"Don’t worry, I wouldn’t randomly consider friends as food. We found some leftover bones at a transfer station, hidden by someone. They could barely serve as food if nothing else is available."

Xu Huo didn’t pursue this topic but asked, "You chased the Battle Dolls here. Shouldn’t the Battle Dolls carry an instrument for entering and exiting this dungeon venue? Any clues?"

"The Battle Dolls we killed didn’t have any Teleportation Device," Zhu Bo said. "But judging from the situation when we entered, the entrance space of the dungeon venue is substantial. If it’s controlled by an instrument, the instrument would likely be large, making it improbable for the Battle Dolls to carry with them."

"After capturing players, the Battle Dolls always return near the forest. The entrance must be fixed."

Xu Huo nodded slightly. Even in this case, it cannot be ruled out that the dolls might have independent control over entry and exit. There’s also another possibility: the entry and exit of this dungeon venue might open at set intervals.

It’s not difficult to search for a large instrument; it just requires time. However, if there is indeed an instrument covering the entire Super Dungeon venue, it certainly wouldn’t be placed conspicuously. If it were that easy to find, it would surely be in the most securely guarded place of this dungeon venue.

He glanced towards the direction of the castle.

"How about it?" Noticing his action, Zhu Bo extended an invitation. "Interested in joining us to raid the Suitcase Man’s lair?"

"The risk is too high," Xu Huo replied calmly. "Once the Suitcase Man returns to the dungeon venue and the Super Dungeon activates, we might be trapped here forever."

Zhu Bo waved his hand, "Die here or elsewhere, what’s the difference? You think I fear the Suitcase Man?"

"Brother Zhu," the female player beside him called out as a reminder.

Zhu Bo nodded and smiled at Xu Huo, "Here, we should mention the Suitcase Man less, or else a crazed puppet person might jump out and kill."

"Most of those puppet people should be conscious players," Xu Huo said. "Their actions are limited. Leaving their fixed activity areas or causing trouble will alter their mode. In a fixed region, there’s at least one true puppet acting as the core, triggering madness mode in the entire area if it raises an alarm. But smaller scale fights only attract nearby Battle Dolls, which are low-level and easily destroyed."

He paused and added, "The Battle Dolls you encountered were not at the same level."

The current situation was clear: moving towards the castle would significantly increase difficulty. The number and combat power of the Battle Dolls and puppets would escalate. Near the castle, these Battle Dolls and puppets would enter a "diligent" mode, no longer behaving passively as before.

"Finding that exit might not be easy," Zhu Bo said. "Yet the castle is right in front of us. I don’t believe that reaching it would keep the dungeon venue closed. Whether the Suitcase Man returns or the puppets report back, they must connect to the game first. It all leads to the same destination!"

Aiming for the moment the Suitcase Man enters or exits is truly an arduous task, but giving it a try when puppets enter or leave could be feasible. Regardless of the method of entry and exit in this dungeon venue, if a puppet intends to leave or enter, it might create an opportunity.

But this method also carries considerable risk. The Suitcase Man wouldn’t leave his dungeon wholly unattended. Each puppet and doll here could act as a signal mechanism. The Suitcase Man could directly come over upon receiving information.

"Try to avoid those Battle Dolls as much as possible," Xu Huo said. "Let’s first go check out the castle."

The Girl in the painting had mentioned her escape from the castle. As the core of Circus City, the Suitcase Man’s castle might hold an entry or exit.

However, this is just an unfounded speculation. Making such a choice would be no different from gambling with their lives.
