Shaking off the distracting fantasy, she reviewed the day's progress on her main interface. It had been just over 24 hours since she unleashed her forces to pursue Hanry and Miriel.
The log was a satisfying cascade of notifications:
[Penetrated a Bloom Mother +1 LP] x 64 [Penetrated a female catfolk +75 LP], etc…
The numbers were climbing nicely. She hadn't issued a kill order yet but merely wear them down, playing the game cat and mouse. The dungeon creatures were proving adept at harassment and attrition.
'Excellent,' Lyssandra thought, watching the LP total rise. 'No need to rush spending them. Past experiences have shown unforeseen costs.' She thought about the huge LP when she'd bought skills or things inside the system shop. 'Better to save for something truly transformative.'
Rolfe was subdued and captured, but one for later exploitation. He was secure in a reinforced cell, unconscious and restrained. 'He'll make a fine addition,' she mused. 'Or a potent bargaining chip. That bear's pride is almost as big as his axe.'
Lyssandra settled onto the ornate chaise longue in the blooming garden, sipping her tea. The artificial warm sun felt glorious on her skin. The garden was truly her sanctuary – a paradise of vibrant flowers and soft grass, meticulously maintained by her ever-growing harem of maids.
