Leveling Up by Defiling Milfs

Chapter 202: Ch202: The Messenger

Daniel’s eyes lingered on the sheet of paper for a long moment.

"I think I know why," Daniel said with a neutral expression. "Yesterday, your twin brother killed five townfolks in the marketplace."

"What?" Zane blinked in surprise. Then realization dawned on him. "Oh... that actually makes sense now."

He split open another fruit and squeezed its juice over the cuts on his forearm.

"Far," Daniel whispered, his eyes settling on the fruit.

————

Name: Passiano Mystic

Type: Fruit

Description: A rare fruit that grows on Mystic Trees, prized for its natural healing properties.

The juice extracted from its seeds helps accelerate the recovery of cuts, bruises, and other minor wounds while reducing pain and inflammation.

Its seeds are also a valuable ingredient in healing potions and medicinal salves.

The fruit’s effectiveness depends on the severity of the injury — the deeper the wound, the longer the healing takes.

While it cannot instantly mend grievous wounds, it is highly effective at preventing infection and speeding up the body’s natural recovery.

"Daniel, can you do me a favor? Here, take this." Zane said, extending a folded paper toward him.

’A letter?’ Daniel murmured, accepting it.

"There’s a woman living in the residential district. I forgot her name, but give this to her. She knows this town better than anyone," Zane said.

Daniel hesitated. "Can’t you deliver it yourse—"

Zane met his eyes with a flat stare.

Daniel fell silent. "Oh... right. I forgot you’re being..." He scratched the back of his head. "Fine, I’ll deliver it tomorrow."

"Tomorrow? Seriously? Then why would I hand it to you now?" Zane replied.

Daniel blinked. "Now?"

"Obviously. Her house is on the far eastern side of the residential district. It’s the only blue house with a persimmon tree in the front yard."

Daniel pondered for a moment before turning his gaze toward the sun as it slowly sank below the horizon.

"Fine."

...

"Two hundred and fifty grams of jerky, please," Daniel said.

The bakery owner gave him an apologetic smile. "I’m afraid we’ve sold out."

"What?!"

Letting out a disappointed sigh, Daniel headed toward the residential district, while spotting his comrades scattered throughout the marketplace — some browsing food stalls, others looking through clothes and supplies.

*Sigh~*

Five minutes later, he reached the far eastern end of the residential district.

Before long, he spotted a blue house with a tree standing proudly in its front yard. Its walls, painted in shades of lapis blue and white, gave the home a calm, welcoming appearance.

"That must be it," Daniel murmured. It was the only house in the area with a tree.

He walked along the fence, pushed open the iron gate, and stepped into the yard.

*Knock-Knock*

Daniel waited patiently, the letter resting in his right hand.

*Creak~*

"Yes?"

A young man who looked to be in his early twenties opened the door.

"Um... is this..." fuck. What do I even say? Daniel thought.

"I have a letter for..."

The young man narrowed his eyes. "For me?"

Daniel quickly shook his head. "No, no... it’s for..."

"Mom! Someone’s here!" the young man called over his shoulder as he stepped back into the house.

A moment later, a woman emerged from inside, wearing a blue apron with a tiny white mushroom pattern tied around her waist, as though she had just stepped out of the kitchen.

Daniel’s eyes widened.

"Lady Cinderela?"

"Daniel?" Cinderela asked, blinking in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

An awkward silence settled between them before Daniel finally broke it.

"I... brought this for you," he said, holding out the letter.

Cinderela accepted it but didn’t open it right away. Instead, a memory of their recent interactions surfaced in her mind, causing a faint blush to spread across her cheeks.

’Is he... trying to give me a love letter?’ she wondered.

Daniel stood with his hands clasped behind his back, meeting her gaze before his eyes awkwardly drifted to her huge breasts for the briefest moment.

Cinderela unfolded the letter and began reading.

The moment her eyes reached the first few lines, the blush on her cheeks vanished.

Her expression turned serious.

"Where did you get this letter?" Cinderela asked, clutching it tightly against her chest.

Daniel hesitated for a moment. "Someone asked me to deliver it to you. That’s all."

Cinderela lowered her gaze to the letter and read it carefully. As she reached the end, the tension in her face gradually melted away, replaced by a faint, heartfelt smile — so subtle that Daniel barely noticed it.

"Wait... do you know where this man is?" she asked, folding the letter.

Daniel shook his head. "No."

With that, he turned and started walking toward the gate.

"Wait!"

Daniel stopped in his tracks and turned back.

Cinderela hurried inside the house. A moment later, she returned carrying a palm-sized clay bowl with a fitted lid.

The rich aroma of freshly cooked food escaped through the tiny gaps, drifting into the air.

The warm, spice aroma, rich with herbs, made Daniel swallow as his mouth watered. He just couldn’t help licking his lips.

"A small thank-you for delivering the letter," Cinderela said with a warm smile as she handed him the bowl.

"Thank you, Lady Cinderela," Daniel replied with a warm smile before turning to leave.

With that, he stepped out through the gate and headed straight back to the training grounds, carrying the warm clay bowl in his hands for tonight’s dinner.

...

"It’s so creepy looking outside," Molex muttered, staring at the red glow pouring through the window.

Zushio smirked. "Looks like someone’s scared of the dungeon."

"I’m not scared!" Molex shot back.

The room erupted in laughter.

Daniel chuckled quietly as he glanced outside.

Marco sat on a wooden stool facing the dungeon, as though patiently waiting for the warriors to return.

The wagons remained parked nearby while several workers fed bundles of hay to the white horses.

As dinnertime arrived, everyone gathered in the dining hall.

Daniel removed the clay lid from the bowl. A wave of warm, spicy aroma filled the room as he spooned the food onto his wooden plate before sharing the rest with his comrades.

*Nom-Nom-Nom*

"Huh?" Pise said, sitting beside Daniel. "What is this? A hair?"
