Leveling Up by Defiling Milfs

Chapter 212: Ch212: An Unexpected Request

Daniel went into the building, brought out a stool, and carried it over to the campfire before sitting down.

For the young shamans, the night was special. Their master, Marco, was joining them — not as their teacher, but simply as a man, a friend, and an older brother who wanted nothing but the best for them.

Tridon, Molex, and Bernard arrived carrying buckets filled with chicken pieces, diced pork, and chunks of beef, all thoroughly marinated in spices and rich flavors.

They also brought freshly washed vegetables for the barbecue feast.

"There we go," Marco said, walking over to them and taking one of the buckets to ease their load.

Seeing that, Daniel also took a bucket from Tridon and carried it over to the area near the campfire.

"Don’t be shy, everyone. Eat as much as you want," Marco said with a warm smile.

"I believe Master is so talented. He mustn’t have needed much time to master all five forms," Zushio said, extending his skewer toward the fire.

Marco gave a soft chuckle. "No, no. Talent without hard work is nothing. You have to cycle your lightning over and over until it becomes second nature to you."

"Zushio, can’t we not talk about practice?" Molex asked, his tone slightly exasperated.

Most of the shamans shot him a glance.

"I mean... I just— shouldn’t we talk about something else?" Molex added with a nervous smile.

"That’s a good point," Marco agreed with a neutral expression.

A brief silence settled around the campfire as their minds wandered while their hands continued turning the barbecue skewers.

Until Daniel broke the silence.

"Master, what’s the Babel?"

Marco’s eyes widened for a brief moment before returning to normal.

The other shamans exchanged surprised glances.

None of them had expected Daniel to ask such a question, as they knew nothing about the topic — except Bernard, who remained silent.

"That’s a great question, Daniel. I’ve been teaching for years, and no one has ever asked me that," Marco said. "Babel is a library, Daniel. You can find a lot of information about elemental magic there."

"A library? I’ve never heard of it," Pise said, leaning closer with curiosity.

"Where is it, Master?" Tridon asked, his tone eager.

Marco crossed one leg over the other and straightened his back.

"The reason you’ve never heard of it is because you aren’t true shamans yet. But once your training is complete, you’ll all become one. And Babel is located in the middle section of the kingdom."

The young shamans’ eyes widened at the revelation.

"Where did you hear about it, Daniel?" Marco asked, a genuine surprise flickering across his face.

Normally, once their elemental training was complete, the young shamans would enter the next stage of their journey: Class Selection.

There, each of them would choose the path they wished to pursue — Swordsman, Marksman, Tank, Healer, Mage, or Assassin.

Only after choosing their respective classes would the newly recruited shamans be sent to Babel, where they would receive further education and training in their chosen path.

Marco stared at him, his curiosity slowly deepening.

How did he know about Babel?

The question lingered in Marco’s mind, impossible to ignore.

"I just overheard someone talking about it at a tavern," Daniel said, keeping his expression neutral.

Marco gave a small nod and turned his attention back to the others.

The night went on as they chatted around the campfire, their stomachs full from the feast.

Eventually, one by one, they returned to their rooms and went to sleep.

The next morning, everything seemed normal, and training continued as usual. The young shamans stood before the metal plates, placing their palms against them and unleashing bolts of lightning after lightning.

Cinderela and Elira arrived at the training ground together, while Marco spoke with them about something.

Meanwhile, Daniel struggled to push his lightning through the metal plate — not because his lightning was weaker or lacked power, but because Marco had placed another plate directly behind it, doubling the resistance.

The other shamans continued their training as well.

One by one, they forced their lightning through the metal plates, yet none of them succeeded in mastering the Fourth Form.

Meanwhile, a horse approached the training ground, its rider dressed in a brown robe that concealed his face. He dismounted, handed Marco a sealed scroll, then climbed back onto his horse and rode away.

But before he could finish reading it, another horse appeared in the distance.

This one was white, its coat gleaming under the morning sun.

To their surprise, the rider was none other than Alucard. He climbed down from the saddle and walked straight toward the others.

Several of the young shamans paused their training and turned their gazes toward them, curiosity flickering across their faces.

A few minutes later, Cinderela called out to Daniel, gesturing for him to come over.

Daniel stopped what he was doing and walked over to them.

"Yes, Master?" he asked, coming to a stop beside him.

But before Marco could say another word, he rolled the scroll back up and met Alucard’s gaze.

"So, is that all you wanted to say?" Marco asked, his tone flat.

Alucard gave a slow nod.

"No," Marco said firmly. "I’m not giving you any of my students."

Alucard crossed his arms, his expression composed. "Sir Marco, no offense, but I don’t want any of your students except Daniel. He has a lot of potential. You know that, don’t you?

Listen, I’m only trying to do you a huge favor."

Marco’s expression hardened as he immediately raised his index finger toward Alucard. "Watch your words. Don’t you dare doubt my training. You really think my teachings are worthless?!

If you say another word about my student, I’ll file a complaint on you."

However, Alucard remained calm, as though he already knew how things would unfold. He turned toward the white horse, reached into its saddlebag, and pulled out a sealed parchment bearing the insignia of the Royal Academy.

Daniel narrowed his eyes.

Whatever was written on that parchment, it was enough to make Marco’s expression change.
