Limitless Summoner System

Tyler returned to the inn and kindly handed over the Goblin’s crystal heart to Esper with both hands in a bow. The Eidolon smiled and thanked him. He suddenly felt really tired so he went up to his refrigerator, drank the health, mana and food potions before falling asleep.

Meanwhile, it was morning on Saturday on Vexarra and Tyler’s group of friends, which now included Kass, knocked on the dojo door early. Professor Sanju answered in pajamas, which made Adam chuckle.

"May I help you?" The teacher asked politely.

They explained everything they knew and the Professor invited them into the dojo and stressed they speak quietly.

"So, someone forced open a portal to the Land of Summoned Monsters, but who?" Professor Sanju muttered.

"I’m sorry to ask sir, but could you please tell us more about your little brother so we understand why you chose Tyler as the person to give his staff too?" Kass asked politely.

"The first thing you should know is Tyler is the only Summoner on this planet. They were an extinct magical class due to their selfishness, aside from my little brother. He always loved beasts and Eidolons. He said they were friends, not tools of power. Because of this, they were willing to make contracts with him. He loved them too much though and didn’t know when to stop. It wasn’t an illness that killed him, he had too much power and it stopped his heart." The teacher spoke calmly, and they could all sense his sadness.

"So how do the Eidolons feel about it?" Amanda asked. "Surely they must feel terrible if they found someone who actually cared about them?"

"Correct. The higher ranked ones, including the King and Queen, have been trapped in the Land of Summoned Monsters for thousands of years without a host. It’s a wartorn plane, or at least that’s what my brother said. Tyler is kind to his familiars and lets them out freely. He should return safely, so do not worry."

They all instantly relaxed and Kass, Sophie and Amanda asked Adam, Katy, Zain and the Professor if they could talk for a minute.

"Let’s all agree right now that no matter what happens, we share Tyler." Kass said bluntly.

Amanda and Sophie both blushed.

"What do you mean by share?" Amanda asked, which caused Sophie and Kass to laugh.

"We can all date him, hook up with him, have sex with him if he wants... get to know him, but we stay friends no matter what." Kass answered calmly.

"Wait, how many people have you slept with Kass?" Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Just as many as you." Kass playfully nudged her.

"You calling me a whore?" She laughed.

"Well, this is awkward..." Amanda said with a slight smile.

"Oh, you’re a virgin?" Kass asked politely. "Listen, don’t worry about it. It’s not like I’m going to have sex with him tomorrow, I just met the dude. I’m just saying that it’s obvious you two are attracted to him and I am too. Let’s just agree to not let this get in the way of our friendship and our bigger goals in life."

"She has a really good point, Amanda. It’s not like he wasn’t willing to just lay there and cuddle with both of us."

"Fine, I’m ok with it." Amanda said confidently. "I honestly don’t care. As long as we’re all happy and he’s happy and there’s absolutely no drama."

"No drama, yes. I like that." Sophie said. "But what if there’s another female introduced into the mix?"

"Then we cross that bridge when we get there. She either gets on the same page with us or gets gone, if you know what I mean," Kass winked.

"Do you think we can go save him or help him?" Amanda asked.

"Nope. Let him come back to us and when he does, we’ll let him know what’s going on as a group. That way he can’t try and be overly nice and say no. It’s what we all want, right?" Kass demanded.

"Yes," they both agreed.

"Then it’s settled. The second there’s drama we all step into his friend zone. Agreed?" Kass added.

They made the pact and returned to the rest of the group.

"Anyway, Tyler should be fine. His phoenix isn’t a random phoenix." Professor Sanju explained.

"Can you elaborate more on that please?" Adam asked kindly.

"That is Tyler’s business, not mine. I believe he will tell you when he’s ready after he finds out, which should be in the realm he’s in now. He should also come back more powerful. That is all I can say. Do not share this with anyone outside of this room unless you are absolutely certain Tyler trusts them. That includes Zach. I know Zain and Adam are close with him. That is also Tyler’s decision."

They all agreed and went to breakfast together. They couldn’t believe the circumstances but were grateful to know that Tyler would likely be safe. They also planned to keep their eyes and ears peeled for any information regarding who was trying to force their way into a realm not known by many people.

"It has to be a Professor," Sophie whispered.

"You’re right," Adam agreed. "No student, unless maybe a very wealthy third year, would know that and Kass, you’re not a natural ability user. What would have to be done?"

"I’ll look into it, but if it’s a demonic ritual... then someone is up to no good."

Tyler woke up and felt his stomach rumbling. ’I miss real food.’

"I know, kid. Drink four of the green ones this morning. You’re hungry because Shadow and I are also relying on your body for food. I forgot I’m absorbing a lot more now, so suck some of those things down. I’ll talk to Esper so he doesn’t charge you a fortune."

"Thanks buddy. So what about this meeting with Vivian? Are you sure I’m not strong enough to take her or were you just saying that?"

"I wasn’t sure how she would act. Her last host was thousands of years ago and I know she’s looking for a way out of here. We’ve stayed close over the years and everytime I’m reincarnated I’ve been stuck with a dumb ass and I’m often just ditched here. Just be very careful with that contract and make sure your system goes over it and make sure you don’t offend her."

"Why the hell would I do that? I’d just treat her like I treat the two of you... right?"

"Yes and no Tyler. She needs more ground rules. She can’t just go off charming whoever she wants on Vexarra. She has to respect the women you’re around. If you haven’t noticed, none of them have a problem sharing you."

"I did notice they don’t get jealous but if things got more serious, don’t you think that would change?"

"Not sure. It’s only been a few weeks. Let’s just go meet with Vivian and find a safe route out of here. She would count for your quest as well. You should also put all of those stat points into spirit."

’System, assign 5 stat points to spirit. Please do not read me my stats, I know them.’

"Well, let’s get going Tyler and the first thing I’d do when she walks in is let us both come out of you freely," Shadow said sternly. "You treat us as equals and she needs to fully understand that, because I still don’t think can, if that makes sense?"

"All these paradoxes lately. Yes, it makes sense. She’s like Amanda, all she knows is people treating her like shit."

"Precisely," Ash happily chirped.

Tyler made his way down to the inn and noticed there was a meeting area off to the left.

"Hey Esper," Tyler bowed.

"Good morning Tyler. What can I help you with?"

"May I please borrow that meeting area over there?"

"Sure, what for?"

"Please send Vivian that way when she gets here, if you wouldn’t mind, please," Tyler said, bowing again.

"You are a very kind soul Tyler. I will do this for you. How are Seraphim and Shadow?"

"Doing well, they both give you their best. They’ll be out shortly."

"I noticed Seraphim came out on his own volition when we first met. Do you really allow your familiars to come and go as they please?"

"Of course I do. They’re my friends, not my slaves," Tyler said with a wide smile as he waved to a group of Eidolons and walked over to the meeting area, taking a seat on a large, comfortable sofa.

’Unbelievable! It’s a miracle. A summoner born into this world who treats us as equals. I never thought I’d see the day,’ Esper thought, smiling and shaking his head. ’Well, aside from the Sanju boy but he just allowed everyone and everything into him. Poor kid.’
