"Calm down. You’re worked up, you need to be clear headed." Ash said sternly.

"Seriously, chill Tyler." Vivian said directly.

"How can I not be pissed off?! He’s a sick, twisted piece of shit!"

"You can’t fight someone S ranked like you are with emotion and anger. I’d personally play with prey and show you’re the Alpha." Shadow said, eagerness to her voice, as she wanted to watch Tyler obliterate Blake.

"Yes, do that. They made sure you endured lots of pain over a long period of time, why not make their lives hell?" Ash grinned.

"We are with you Tyler but you need to relax," Ritsu said. "Deep breaths kid. Talk to them about a date, plan one."

Tyler appreciated his girlfriends were chatting away in good spirits while he paced around the living room. They all knew when he was talking with his familiars and they were all happy he was standing up for him. Nyx joked she could easily win a duel vs Tim and Blake in a duo in about 10 seconds, which also made the girls feel better. Tyler reminded them Sophie would kick their asses. He also told Amanda and Kass they’d probably win because they were smart and those dumbasses didn’t use strategy.

"Relax baby." Kass smiled calmly. "You’re kind of hot when you’re all worked up and pissed off like this. We’ve never seen you this way!"

"He is definitely hot right now." Sophie grinned. "In all the right ways."

"Our avenger!" Amanda said cheerfully. "You better kick his ass and look good doing it mister!"

"If those two didn’t jump me, I wouldn’t have met you. I guess I should be thankful they did!" Tyler finally laughed. "Let’s plan a date and do something special. What do you think?"

They were super excited and they planned a romantic date in the Vampiric Kingdom. Nyx asked her Uncle if she could have a private dinner with music and dancing, and he gladly put in the request. They would go on new years day.

Their phones all had a new notification. It was an official message from the school that the upcoming duel would have two, back to back. The location was moved outside and the time was pushed back an hour. There was a picture of the three dueling professors, with Professor Sanju officiating and the other two watching both sides of the new arena style fighting area. It also included a message that due to popular demand, there would be a full stadium section seating on a first come first serve basis.

There was a final picture attached of students already filing in.

"I’ll go grab you another mana potion! Do you want a warm up spar babe?" Sophie asked.

"Yes beautiful, thank you."

They made their way to Master Sanju’s empty dojo after they both got dressed into their Karate Gi’s. Tyler didn’t usually wear his to his matches, but he recently received a green belt and wore it proudly.

He and Sophie warmed up with her using Qi infused katana strikes while he practiced defending with his staff and magic. She used some spells mixed in, which Tyler parried, used his staff to absorb while pushing back.

Sophie wasn’t fighting to win, she was doing this as a methodical preparation. She focused on using ice magic first, then lightning magic, as that would be the order Tyler faced them.

"Good block, good use of your links but try to save them. I don’t think you need them when you’re defending swords and magical attacks. They drain your mana. Try without one babe." Sophie smiled.

Tyler drank a mana potion and he had a harder time defending, but was able to do so while only taking minor damage. He was glad he received a 100 point increase when he reached rank S.

[Health 280/300].

He didn’t heal himself and Sophie aggressively shot magic at him. He absorbed most of them with his staff, but a few Qi infused ones got by him, hitting him squarely. She used the opening to move in quickly, but Tyler released the magic in his staff to negate her advance, linked with Ash, flew to the left and shot several fire blasts at her. She threw up several ice walls, each cracking with ease but she was smiling.

"Ok, I think you’re ready babe!" She cheered.

The other girls all gave Tyler pointers and Nyx explained Blake and Tim’s usual style of fighting, which she figured would change for this match. She said Tyler should easily win but stressed not being over confident.

They made their way to the arena after Tyler drank a health and mana potion with Sophie. He told the girls he’d be holding Kass’ hand walking in but they should all be with him and he’d be kissing all of them and had a surprise in store for them.

The new arena was packed. Nyxara explained it would get even bigger for the tournament but nearly the entire school that remained home for the holiday break was at the duel. After using analyze, Tyler informed his girlfriends there were over 2,000 people and he was glad they had a section for his group of women and Adam to stand in. He looked across and saw Tim, Blake and a few other students he didn’t recognize.

"Hey Nyx!" A very handsome vampire screamed and the professors let him through.

"Hi Finnick! How are you?" She said, "Where are my manners, this is Tyler and Sophie, Amanda and Kass."

"Pleasure to meet you Tyler! So you’re the one who stole this lovely lady’s heart. I’m glad to know she has a great man by her side. I promised her as a kid I’d be her King, but I was not worthy. You are so please win today." He said very in a very friendly fashion while shaking Tyler’s hand and looking at each of his girlfriends.

"My, what a powerful group of women. You are all very lucky to be in such a great relationship. I look forward to seeing what you are capable of and working together with you when Nyxara and Tyler take over our Kingdom." He smiled, hugging each of the ladies.

"Such a gentleman! Nice to meet you!" Sophie said while hugging him.

"Watch out for my horns!" Kass laughed, "Any friend of Nyx is a friend of ours. Great to meet you too."

"She’s told us about you and how great of a guy you are. You’re also ranked second in dueling, aren’t you?" Amanda smirked.

Finnick grinned. "Not for long if Sophie and Tyler have anything to say about it. Kass and Amanda are doing quite well. If you ever need me, please take my number from our future majesty [Nyxara] and I will assist you in any way I can."

"Will do. Thank you Finnick. It was great meeting you. Now if you’ll excuse me, my name is being called." Tyler smiled while walking toward the center of the arena.

His eyes locked with Blake’s and the tension was heavy, like the entire arena was ready to collapse on everyone’s chest, except for Tyler and his group of supporters, which now included Adam and Finnick with his girlfriends.

"Ladies and gentlemen! This is your dean and this is an official duel. Rank 4 Blake Nelson against Rank 24 Tyler Rask!"

The arena shook with cheers, whistles and applause.

"This is an official match, both of you know the rules. Please shake hands with your competitor." Professor Sanju said.

Tyler noticed he had a microphone and ear piece in. His voice echoed throughout the arena.

When he reached in and shook his hand, he brought him close, like almost for a bro hug and whispered.

"Remember when you and your buddy jumped me? If you ever lay a finger on another woman again you’ll wish today was your worst day." Tyler said calmly, but filled with ferocity.

This wasn’t going to be a duel. It was going to be a slow, painful display of power and love.
