Limitless Summoner System

Tyler used the temporary ceasefire to recall his familiars, aside from Ash, who still held him in his talons. He opened a very small portal to his refrigerator at home, which was empty, and pulled out four mana potions. He stashed two in his back pockets while popping open two, swallowing them both quickly.

[Your mana is fully restored.]

"Well? You’re awfully quiet."

"What do you mean by absolute freedom?"

"Come, go, do as you please but when I need you or my wives need you, you’re there and do as we say. We will treat you like a family member like the rest of my familiars, who will gladly testify on my behalf."

Leviathan watched Tyler’s familiars freely leave him, standing neatly in a line smiling.

"Freely? No commands, they can just come out? Interesting."

"Yes and no. Vivian and Max can’t influence people unless I’m in danger or I allow it. Ash is free to do as he pleases, Shadow must remain close and Ritsu often returns home to spend time with her parents. Rex is new but protective. I’m not going to force you to stay out of your comfort zone and babysit me but I will need your strength and power."

"Then prove your worth!" He smirked, quickly forming a giant water bomb flying at Tyler at rapid speed.

Tyler used his staff to block it and flew out of Ash’s talons.

’Link with Shadow.’ He commanded while flying through the air in agonizing pain as his staff was washed away, disappearing into the forest.

He formed into his more muscular self, crashed into a tree, spit up blood and brushed off tree shards.

"Thanks Shadow. You just saved my life."

"Wow! That was INSANE." She responded, also howling in pain.

"No kidding. This is going to be a fun battle!" Tyler said excitedly, forming a portal, grabbing a large health potion, then swallowed it in one gulp.

"Better grab a mana and a food one. Maybe you should ink with me instead." Ash said while forming into a white orb.

"Yes, that way I can dodge him. Ritsu, do you think the clone is a good idea or should I keep summoning you?"

"Summoning me. Your spirit level has made us much stronger. Win this fight and who knows how much more power you will gain."

Tyler slurped the potions and tossed the bottles away, grabbing one more mana one before closing the portal.

’Full link with Ash.’ His wings sprouting, eyes changing to a much darker shade of green.

"You look incredibly different Tyler and have a small white ethereal glow now," Vivian smirked.

Swoosh!

Tyler sped into the air, staff reforming in his hand.

"Serpent is his strongest form. You need to get rid of as much of that water as you can." Ritsu explained.

"I’m sure that water isn’t normal. It has to be pouring out from him and that lake isn’t natural. It’s him, right?"

"Yes but it can evaporate. I’m just not sure you have the fire power to do so."

"Wait, Ritsu, do you have a Gaia form?" Tyler asked.

"Earth goddess? I can do that."

"Cause as many earthquakes and absorb as much of that water with sand as you can. I think we can wear him down that way. I’ll use earth based magic. I suggest you all do the same. Now go!"

"Tyler, we don’t have Earth based magic." Vivian admitted.

"Oh, right. Ok, I’m trusting you to do what you normally do for me. I need to focus or I’m a dead man."

"Understood." Rex said as they all formed in Tyler’s selected areas.

A giant roar bellowed through the entire forest as another tidal wave was coming, fast.

’Recall Vivian, Max, Shadow and Rex. Then place them directly on the serpent’s body.’

"Are you nuts?!" Shadow asked.

"Sorry if you have to rest and are injured. I truly am but this is high risk-high reward. We can’t let him wear us down."

"We trust you Tyler. We can’t die here, he won’t kill us. I am certain of that. He will kill you." Ash said sternly.

"Listen to Tyler! Go!" He continued sternly.

"Thank you Ash. Let’s do this!" Tyler said while zig-zagging past the massive water bombs approaching him rapidly.

Ritsu snuck to Leviathan’s blindspot and started quickly dumping as much sand as she could.

’Recall Ritsu.’ Tyler said calmly, saving her from a rapid fire succession of water jets.

"Is there a primordial Gaia or is that just Earth mythology?" Tyler asked while breathing heavily, reaching for more potions through another portal.

"Yes, she’s my mother’s third child. She also has her own domain here." Ash smiled. "Guess I have a genius as a host."

Tyler smirked. "Well now I know who the next target is after we take down this big guy."

"Are you absolutely out of your mind today?!" Vivian said while slicing her nails through Levithan’s water, trying to reduce as much of it as she could before Tyler recalled her.

Each of them continued to use their lightning and Rex used his metallic claws to shred through him quickly until Leviathan blasted him away with a pressurized water stream.

[Rex is unavailable and resting in your system for 24 hours.]

"Shit."

[Shadow is unavailable and resting in your system for 36 hours.]

’Recall Vivian and Maximus.’ Tyler said, downing yet another mana potion.

"Ok. We’ve made progress. We have to keep taking risks and getting rid of this water. The lake has shrunk about 25%. Let’s keep chipping away. When you are in danger, I will recall you. I can’t afford to lose more of you."

"Ritsu, can you summon titans?"

"No. I don’t have the strength."

"Is the lore about kitsune they receive one every 100 years or can I give you power?"

"My power will grow based on your growth, much like Ash can only reach his true form when you are beyond SSS."

"Is the folklore about 9 tails true?"

"Yes. Stop thinking about that stuff."

"No, it’s important. I need to understand so I can better use you. Ok, you’re going to swallow the water underneath him this time with a quake spell. He’s going to immediately go for you. I’ll take care of the rest and keep you safe. Max and Viv, same plan." Tyler spoke calmly. "Ash, if he goes for me instead of Ritsu, make sure I don’t get hit too hard. I don’t need you going to sleep for any amount of time."

"Got your back buddy."

"Ritsu, if this happens, take advantage of it and pound him with as many giant boulders as you can."

Tyler released them back onto the angry sea monster’s back.

SWISH. SWOOSH. SPLASH.

Leviathan slammed his serpent tail into the ground to shake them off him.

’Recall Vivian and Max, NOW RITSU!"

"Blessing of Earth, Gaia’s quake!"

A gaping hole of Earth formed below Leviathan, who angrily shot water bombs at Tyler, not Ritsu.

Ash was quick, not but quick enough. Ritsu dropped giant boulders on an angry serpent, who started collapsing into the giant hole underneath him.

"Tyler!" Ritsu screamed.
