Chapter 83: Tyler’s Summoner Awakening (Finale)

Tyler looked at his fiancees with a kind smile, beginning to realize how much more powerful he felt.

"Your eyes...they’re so beautiful." Kass said while gazing directly into them.

"You’re SS now aren’t you sweetheart?" Sophie said, her intuition uncanny, as it always seemed.

"They’re so much darker, like they’re getting ready to change into a new color." Nyx smiled. "Truly remarkable."

"You’re ripped too...how much stronger did you get?!" Amanda gushed while they held hands and ran towards him. "You look so damn sexy! You have even bigger muscles, mister!"

Tyler loved when she playfully used ’mister.’

"An incredible amount. Leviathan is Ash’s younger brother and the third child of Bahamut and Asura. I love you all. I’m really sorry it went that far. I’m lucky he held back or I would be dead." Tyler’s eyes watered slightly, grateful to still have the women he was going to marry shortly rushing towards him.

"He held back and almost killed you?!" Nyx stopped in her tracks.

Ash appeared in his human form so they could hear him speak.

"I was reborn in Tyler when he awakened as a summoner. I was just a baby little phoenix that Sophie and Tyler met. I am in my adult form now, but because Tyler is not beyond SSS, I cannot truly be in my true form.

"Beyond SSS is possible?!" Nyxara asked excitedly. "For all of us?!"

"Not sure about the rest of you, but it is for Tyler." Ash smirked.

"So even with you in this form, one held back blast from your younger brother almost killed him? How powerful are you?!" Sophie pleaded.

Ash chuckled. "I’m just a silly old man who likes to make jokes. The real power resides in my Mother and Father. Tyler is still a long way from being able to summon them."

"Interesting. That would certainly be impressive!" Amanda cheered.

"Who is your little sister? Who is your parents’ second child?" Nyx asked.

"Gaia." Ash said calmly.

"No way..." Tyler muttered.

"Yup, you were right! Are you ready to take the full dive buddy?" Ash asked, relaxed.

"Yes." Tyler said.

"Finally." Ash laughed while turning into his phoenix form, only to burst into a giant pile of ashes.

Commander Alger was staring at hundreds of monitors again as 12 important looking people walked into a different command center. Everyone took a seat, neatly.

"Welcome. I have made my decision." The creator of the Necrams said with a wide smile.

"Excellent my liege. Where shall we feast next and when?"

"Vexarra..."

Deep in the throne room of Bahamut’s castle, he and Asura were sitting nervously watching the Orion galaxy.

"At least he will have our first daughter soon," Asura said, finally breaking her calm demeanor. She had tears forming in her eyes.

Bahamut hugged her tightly. "I know my love. They have our blessings and we are fortunate Seraphim has such a big heart. He’s suffered for so long and he finally has a chance to remove the curse and the person I select ends up where we need him most."

"Do you think they intervened from above when you made your recommendation about Tyler to them?"

"They will never admit it, but I do not find it a coincidence. An Apocalypse in Tyler’s "perfect world," much like Mr. Rask lived on Earth, at least in his eyes. Even though he knew that place was far from perfection and had many problems, he believed in others and there were so many great humans that supported each other and the world itself." Bahamut said empathically, being the rock for Asura she needed.

"Yes. So many great humans are still alive and well. The planet managed to turn itself around and is much different. It’s still only humans who live regular lives, but the technology has advanced at a rapid level. Anyway, thank you my love. Do you think Tyler is powering up too fast?"

"No, our son knows better. He will not push him too far, too fast."

Ash finally roared, causing the entire realm to shake. With every new rank Tyler achieved, his favorite familiar’s full strength was that much closer to becoming a reality.

"Let’s go get Gaia!" Tyler said cheerfully.

Ash laughed. "Slow down champ. I said we’d meet her, not that you’d form a contract with her."

"Oh... in that case, can it wait? I have these wonderful women I have to marry soon."

"I really have a host who isn’t a moron! Thank you Tyler." Ash said while floating into his chest.

"Well, how are all of you doing?!" Tyler asked excitedly. "Ready to go home?"

"Yes!" Nyx said excitedly. "I can’t believe we have to go back to school and this tournament is starting after winter break."

"I don’t care about that much anymore. I’m more focused on making sure we have an amazing wedding and I take care of all of you." Tyler’s eyes were still kind, despite their ferocity.

"Well you better care mister!" Amanda laughed. "We all want to win!"

"Damn straight you better care. You’re my dueling partner, I’ll kick your ass myself if we lose!" Nyx giggled.

"We’re a 5 person team for the forest of unknown challenges. I wonder what that’s going to be like?!" Kass smiled cheerfully.

"That one is as mysterious as the forest itself!" Sophie smiled. "I can’t wait to get back to a normal routine. This has been an unbelievable experience but this has been an emotional rollercoaster."

"I couldn’t agree more. Let’s go home!" Tyler smiled while opening a portal. They walked through it and his ethereal glow faded away.

"Aw, that glow looked so sexy on him." Sophie pouted playfully.

"Yes but this is our real home. That’s like a second home for us." Tyler smiled.

"We still have a week left before winter break is over, what are we going to do?" Amanda asked.

"Extend the rotation?" Kass smirked.

"Oh! That means I’m next. Yay!" Amanda clapped. "You’re all mine mister!"

"Sophie Tuesday, Kass Wednesday, Nyx Thursday, then back to the normal rotation?" Tyler smirked.

"Tyler, I don’t feel good." Ritsu said, wincing in pain.

"What’s wrong?!"

She appeared in front of them and collapsed in pain.

"Ash, do something!" Tyler pleaded.

"Relax. She’s evolving." He said cheerfully.

They all watched in amazement as the fox sprouted a fourth tail. She remained the same sized fox lying unconsciously on the floor.

’Recall Ritsu.’

She formed into a tiny white orb and floated into Tyler’s chest peacefully.

[Ritsu will not be available for 12 hours while she undergoes Evolution.]

’What are the cooldowns on Rex and Shadow?’

[20 hours remaining for Rex, 32 hours for Shadow.]

"Is she okay?!" The girls all rushed over, worried.

"Yes. She’ll be just fine. Anyway, Amanda, I’m all yours."
